Incredible location, awesome service, lovely rooms and really rather lovely. I took my partner here as our first stop of a Tuscan tour and it was perfect. Minutes walk from anything you might want to see, eat or do in the city. The WhatsApp access to the service was excellent, clear, responsive etc. The room was wonderful, clean, good shower and cool! Thank you!

The branded amenities added nice touches: Grind coffee pods, Nespresso coffee machine, REN shower & shampoo gels, complimentary bottled water, snacks. The two pillows of different softness were good. The bathroom was modern & spacious. Room 301, double room with view, was likely the only one with magnificent Duomo dome and cathedral view. It was facing the main street but not noisy at night. The window curtains were thin and couldn’t block sunlight. Self check-in / check-out and luggage storage lockers worked well. However, only one locker was of the size of a check-in luggage. Others were of carry-on luggage size. It was a “first come first self-served” situation. The room heater was barely working though it was turned up to maximum temperature. On the co treaty, the bathroom heater was powerful. I didn’t like the textiles used in the room: curtains, carpets, sofa covers, bed headboard, because all looked outdated and dirty. They might be difficult to clean with alcohol sanitizer... The furniture pieces (chair, night stands, table) were shaky and borderline stable. No daily housekeeping. In sum, I’d not recommend to stay here over two nights.

The property is top notch and well maintained. You have everything you need for your stay. Location wise it is 15 min walk to downtown Florence. Everything you need are around and within walking distance. The communication with the property staff were always fast and responsive. The check in information sent via email will in the day of arrival. Don’t need to worry if someone will be at the location to get you in. You just need to upload your required documents before your arrival and you all set. There is grocery store nearby and great places to sip a coffee and get pastries . The only thing to mention that the apartment doesn’t have the washer and dryer in the apartment but rather it’s a public one in the basement that include the iron abs iron board. It would be worth mentioning that in the description. The apartment we get was in the main floor facing the Main Street so it was noisy especially during the weekend nights with cars and motorbikes making load noises during the quiet night. I would recommend to have booklet for all the kids instructions for trash disposal and other stuff in the apartment. I know the information where available in the electronic form but wasn’t sent till the day of check in and while you are traveling you don’t get the time to review all these information.

Couldn’t check in and never received the code needed to enter the building and access room. After calling customer service multiple times (it’s all digital, there’s no reception area, it’s like an Airbnb-in-a-building situation) Rodo insisted they emailed the info over twice, they began blaming the 3rd party it was booked through. After lots of back and forth between me, them, and the booking website, no resolution was reached. I was unable to check in and stranded on the busy streets of Florence. I finally gave up and made another reservation at a different hotel. I’m still waiting to hear back about a refund. I travel a lot and love staying at Airbnbs. The concept is cool for a hotel, but don’t offer reservations through 3rd party websites if you can’t work with that 3rd party to have a seamless check-in process and provide the guests with the necessary information for the stay. It was a nightmare situation.

Great view. No room service but I’m sure they would have come if asked. The room was charming and perfectly located within walking distance from everything including the train station.

Had an amazing stay. Check-in and check out process was really smooth. The room was really nice and well kept as well. Customer service was also really helpful and prompt to reply to any queries we had. A small thing is that the tap water from the toilet sink was quite cold and wasn't adjustable. Otherwise, we loved our stay here and would definitely go back!

The three of us stayed in a deluxe cathedral view room for 4 nights. Loved the location. Our cab driver drove us right up to the front door. Having a room literally right across the Duomo, plus an access to elevator to the upper floor, is fantastic! We just need to carry our luggage up a few steps to open the gate. PIN is needed to unlock the metal gate, to enter the hotel & the room. Our room is clean and neat, but minimally furnished. The curtain are just a piece of thin fabric looped around the curtain pole. There is a fridge in the room stocked with complimentary bottled water, soda & beer. Bathroom stocked with amenities and towels & towels/supplies can be collected from the cupboard next to room 314. Wifi was great! We love the wake-up call every morning by the tolling bells (the bell tower is just across our room). Check-in and check-out were very easy and convenient. Customer service was very responsive to answering messages. We requested a 12noon check out and was granted. Now the cons: The tables, bedside lamps and luggage stand are all old and wobbly. Need at least 1 more chair in the room (currently only 1) Need at least 1 more luggage stand in the room (there’s only 1 wobbly wooden one in our room). Need more lighting in the room.

My stay, at the numa Rodo in Florence, was extremely pleasant. I booked the single room. The hotel is located to the most central location. The room was exceptionally clean and modern. With very thoughtful small gifts, from the minibar to the amazing toiletries. I would 100% recommend it, and I would visit again in my next stay.

I booked for 8 nights at Numa and I was very disappointed on the staff support to handle a problematic situation. Initially everything seemed fine, the room looked clean and as advertised on the photos. Although, after one day we started seeing insects all over the room (including the bed) and we had bites all over our bodies. The insects looked like bed bugs. When we contacted Numa Italy, they didn’t seem to care that there were insects that look like bed bugs in the room (even if we sent photos of the insects and our bites). They asked us to go to the ER and prove that it is really bed bugs in order for them to take any action. Knowing that it is difficult for tourists to get that proof without affecting all their vacation plans. We went to the ER to try to validate that it was bed bugs, but we were not able to see a doctor in a reasonable amount of time (we waited for 4h before giving up). The worst thing is that it seemed that Numa was aware of the insects problem in their building (they responded that it must be spiders instead of bed bugs), but do not take a proactive action to get rid of those. I do not recommend Numa to anyone that cares about cleanliness and healthiness. You will have to inspect your room every single day to kill insects and avoid getting too many bites. You won’t get any concrete support from Numa Italy to rectify the situation.

Loved my stay here! First: the location - you’re right in the center, just next to the cathedral with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby - yet it’s quiet. Second: the room is super new and clean and well equipped with coffee machine, fridge plus complimentary water, chips, beer and a soda - thank you! The WiFi is pretty fast and I could even get a glimpse of the bell tower from my window 😍it’s self checkin with a code and I loved that I didn’t have to worry about a key Third: communication and instructions have been great - they respond quickly and I could even check in early. I would definetly recommend this place!

We ended up at the Rodo because our airbnb canceled last minute. I must say that it was the best thing ever! The place is super clean, good looking and super easy to check-in and out. I would definitely stay here again or visit their other locations. Thanks Rodo!

Spent there two nights and we had a view at the Duomo. The design of the room and the bathroom is really modern and comfortable. Really appreciate the small details that made our stay even more enjoyable, like the nespresso machine, a few complementary drinks and snacks and the great quality soaps and lotions in the bathroom. Since the place is so close to the Duomo the bell ringing can be sometimes a bit annoying but the room's sound isolation is pretty good and it wasn't a problem after all. Great hotel frunchise, will propably choose it again for a second visit.

Stayed 10 years ago. They were very kind people. The room is clean. It is easy to see because it is located in the center of Florence. I want to go again when the coronavirus has settled down. With love from Japan

Rodo is right in the thick of things, around the corner from the Duomo. That said, it's so noisy through the night into the morning that the staff hand out ear plugs. The rooms are cramped and lack comfortable seating. The high style made a good first impression, but was lacking sufficient reading light. The staff had good restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us at the Uffizzi. The breakfast is a generous continental, which you can enjoy on the open terrace looking down upon the street. We stayed in April before the air conditioning was available.... but it would have been nice to have.

Had a fabulous stay at Rodo Hotel Fashion Delight. We chose this hotel as it’s only meters away from the Duomo, hence very central which is essential for a short visit. Despite its location, the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated to the utmost detail: even the minibar and air conditioning where painted to match the room’s style! I stayed at La Suite which has wi-fi, aircon/heating, a minibar that is refilled for free, toiletries, TV, hairdryer, security box and an amazing view of the Duomo. Tea, coffee and candy are available all day just outside the room. Breakfast is complete with eggs, fruits, pastries, bread (including gluten free bread), cereals, yogurt, cheese, cold meats, etc; as well as espresso or cappuccino made to order! The hotel offers various services such as shuttle service, front desk, laundry, etc. Also, due to its central location this hotel is in the ZTL (limited traffic) zone. Any car which enters the ZTL zone without a permit gets a fine but the hotel offers valet parking and reports your license plate to the police so that the fine is waived.

The hotel is located right next to the Duomo. The room we stayed in was very spacious and nice with direct view to the Duomo. Decent breakfast as well, not too many vegetarian options though. Lovely patio as well near the breakfast area. However, when we requested the receptionist for an additional 30 minutes check out as we had arrived late at night she wasn't very considerate and only gave us 15 minutes. Shame it doesn't offer flexibility on check out times.

Great location, clean and decent size rooms, good breakfast. The hotel is almost across the street from Duomo. When walking in the hot sweaty Italian summer was unbearable after a few hours, it was very convenient to quickly come back to the hotel for some time to rest and step out again. The neighborhood was safe. We could see tourists lingering in front of the Duomo for pictures at late night and also at very early hours in the morning. We got a family suite with a queen bed in one room and two twin beds for our teenagers in the next room. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings and an updated bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly. We would love to stay here again.

Great little boutique hotel just steps from the Duomo. Rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are modern. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. We came from Venice where we had a terrible experience so our expectations were very low. This hotel was the opposite of our bad experience in Venice! This hotel made us have faith again in the Italians and their beautiful country. We will Stay here again! Thanks for the great stay!

This hotel was the best hotel out of all of the hotels we stayed at while visiting different places in Europe. Our room was excellent. The bed was so soft with fluffy pillows and the staff was exceptional. She went out of her way to ensure we were happy. She gave us a map with all of her favorite restaurants to eat at, places to shop, what to see. The receptionist even made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant.

Gorgeous, clean room in a truly amazing location. The deck was lovely and we enjoyed coffee on there. Breakfast was okay. Friendly people working there. Minor gripes - nowhere to put soap/toiletries in the shower and I felt the price we paid was just a little bit too high for what it was (€390 for 2 nights).
