We stayed here two nights during our trip to Italy. It is very close to some of the sites we had been looking forward to seeing so that was nice. It is also close to many restaurants and shops and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and spacious enough for four people. However the room had a very strong unpleasant odor. The walls were also very thin and we were able to hear everything going on in the rooms next to ours. There was a drip in the shower that made it difficult to sleep at night. Overall this is not a bad hotel, but definitely not the best either.

This is a nice location. However, the room had a very bad odor. The building is ancient, I get it, but the smell was really musty. We had to keep the windows open to air out the place. The AC had no external circulation and had a line dripping into the bathroom for condensation. However, the hosts were very very friendly and nice! Very secure location as well. I’d give the place 5 stars if it was not for the smell.

We had the best time staying here! The hosts were so helpful and kind with our stay. We were able to check in early which was nice but they would definitely hold your items while you visited the area. The breakfast service and the options were so delicious as well! We loved waking up each morning with the classic breakfast options and it really fueled our mornings before we left for the day. Location is great too, it was accessible to all parts of Florence. We were a few minutes walk from SMN station, nearby shops and cafes, as well as a handful of places for an afternoon spritz. The walk over to the Cathedral of Santa Maia del Fiore is so charming and so many shops and things to see on the way. This was a fabulous first stop of our trip! We will be back!

Very nice staff and great location. The beds and pillows were hard as a rock and I woke up in pain each day. The shower was OK. Don't bother with the breakfast, you can get the same things with higher quality and a third the price just outside in any of the million cafes.

I had a great experience with this hotel. Its quiet at night since it is not on the main road. Very centered and 4 mins walk to the Station. Very clean and well lit. Staff are super friendly. Price is not high compared to what we are getting and other hotels. AC is working and great water pressure.

I chose this because it supposed to have parking. Not totally there fault due to road construction. Centrally located to all shops and restaurants. Breakfast was ok. Very nice service. Bed was comfortable for my 1 night stay. Only reason for the 3 star was the mosquitoes in my room. I still got multiple bites even with plug in repellent

Excellent Stay. We stayed at Residence la Contessina for 3 nights during our stay in Florence. I'm so glad I picked this property. The staff are so professional and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is a 7 minute walk from the train station and only 10 to 15 minute walk to most sights. The included breakfast got us off to a good start each day. Super experience!

Best location and price! Very clean and the staff is very friendly, the owner is always making sure that you are well served and making sure that every little thing is right, breakfast is included and it was amazing, it was the best place to stay! I highly recommend it ❤

Great place. Large appartment, good prices, nice breakfast, very friendly and helpfull staff. I will sure return if I stay in Firenze again. Close to the trainstation and city center. Quiet at night. Only problem were the mosquitos and a pity there is extra charge if you want to use the kitchen.

Need some extra space in your room & hotel while in Florence??? This is the best place in the city. You will stay in a comfortable apartment with separate spaces to rest, work, and even prepare small meals or keep snacks available in your refrigerator. No need to stay in a shoebox hotel room for twice the price. Plus...simple Air Conditioning control! There is a lovely internal but open courtyard to relax, smoke or get out of your room for a bit. It is the most central (but quiet) location to places like the Duomo, Mercato Centrale, SMN Station (5 min), Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi. All less than 15 min walk. The owners are on site all of the time and the staff is family. I have stayed here 10+ times over 10 years and it's the best value in Florence. Nice breakfast, clean and comfortable. Book it! You will be satisfied!

Great location and fair prices! Friendly personnel at the reception. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not great in contrast to what was indicated at Booking. Furthermore, we were treated badly by the owner for requesting another coffee (which was included in our breakfast) due to misinterpretation of coffee sizes. Something I found rather strange and unnecessary.

The rooms feel a bit older but it also feels like home away from home. It's a great break from the monotony of all the modern hotels out there

We stayed here for 2 nights. The service is very firendly and supportive. The rooms (on 2 levels) provide enough space for families. Breakfast is very tasty. Strong recommendation

Nice apartments close to Florence Train station. Rome clean. A tad on the old side now. Also 25 euros extra if you want to use the kitchen facilities which feels a bit excessive as that's why you booked an apartment not a hotel. Overall good though

Excellent space, great hospitality. Near to the train station, the attractions, and the metro to airport. Notice that the front desk will be closed during night, so remember the password and bring the key with you if you gonna be back late. Five star experience, but the smelly hot water kettle deduct 1 from it. Anyways, good experience.
