We did the SUP tour at 1830 and was able to watch the colours change of the city whilst the sun ws setting. The guide was really nice and had a lot of knowledge about his city. Strongly suggest to do this if you are in the city! It isn't cheap but sooo worth it!

Amazing experience to view Venice for a whole different perspective than what you would get walking the streets. Much more affordable than a gondola ride, lasts way longer, and so fun! Staff were all wonderful and spoke great English. Tour guide was great at helping us and navigating very quiet and peaceful canals. Must do experience in Venice, highly recommend!

Amazing experience, he went to our level and did the tour how we wanted, it was more personal then professional but that was an advantage, still to an amazing standard. We can't remeber his name but he was very chill and had frizzy hair. An amazing experience all around, I'd recommend this to everyone that wants a tour of Venice

Nice experience, our group had 6 people plus a guide. It was cool to see Venice from the water. Did feel that guide went a bit quickly at times, leaving some of the group really far behind and hurrying to catch up

I had SO much fun! Instructor and guide, Anna, was so knowledgeable and patient. She was such a pleasure to talk to, it felt like a local friend was showing me around Venice. She had a friend with her—Andrea—who was also a local and SO NICE and KNOWLEDGEABLE! When I could not hear Anna, Andrea would relay the information back to me. As well as ask her in Italian really fast if I had any questions. She may become a guide as well so if you can somehow request either of these two girls you will get your full money’s worth! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and will 100000% be back next time in Venice!

We had an incredible time with Marco guiding! Amazing perspective from a local to help appreciate this beautiful place. Any experience welcome, strong paddlers will be able to move more quickly and see more.

Where better to SUP than Venice? What an adventure. We had a great time with Real Venetian Experience in April 2019. The booking process on the website was easy, we simply paid a deposit to confirm the booking and the communication was very clear throughout the process. We are keen paddleboarders in London and operate a similar business there, @paddleboardinglondon. Our guide Mitro was welcoming, accommodating and kept us safe throughout our tour. He told us interesting stories about Venetian history, buildings and the different neighbourhoods we paddled past. Just wish he had taken a few pictures of the two of us for us to keep as a memory of the occasion. Highly recommended for anybody wanting to be active outdoors and seeing a different perspective of Venice. We hope to be back. Thanks again!

Very fun but also stressful experience (I had no previous kayaking experience). It looks much easier than it is, and it's quite exhausting having to think about so many things at once in order to stay safe. The guide was very helpful, instructions were clear but it only got easier once I was in the water and had practised a bit. Views are really nice and I would recommend bringing your phone to take pictures, but be aware it will probably get wet. Except for annoyed boat drivers passing by, it was a lot of fun and would definitely suggest to do it with friends/family

I booked a tour on the on a sunny but cold January morning. 80 Euro well spent and I would do it again in a heart beat. Our guide Shaffir was good company and had interesting stories to tell about Venice, so unfortunately the 1.5 hours went over too quickly.

This tour is a great way to see parts of Venice from the canals without paying the exorbitant prices of the gondolas. The local guide provided a good over view of some of the history surrounding us, and his instructions while on the water were clear and easy to follow. We were there during a very hot period, so the one improvement I would suggest would be to find a shaded spot for some of the chats (we were out in the sun in the lagoon). But as long as you bring a good hat and some water it is still a very enjoyable experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed being lead round the back canals by a lovely young lady. It was so peaceful away from the crowds. A great way to feel part of Venice. Our guide was patient and informative whilst we got the hang of paddling and steering the kayak. The only downside was it was over to quickly could have quite easily paddled round the canals for hours.

Had a wonderful time seeing Venice from the water and seeing way more than we could from land. Anna was great and gave us great facts about what we were seeing. Highly recommend this tour!

Still a good experience with a kind guide. However it lasted 75 min instead of 100min. We didn't see any famous monument while it's mentionned in the website. The kayaking was only in a part of the Cannaregio.

Interesting to paddle around the northern canals of Venice and the guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. I would have liked to have my own kayak and not to have HAD to share a 2 person. Also would have liked to venture further.

Our guide was really cool, but the kayaking was really for beginners: short route (basically a small circle), minimal time on the water (understandable because they’re real Venetian waterways with real boats using them… it can be intimidating in a kayak), and there wasn’t much information provided or views of the city. For more than one person it’s cheaper and more informative to take a gondola. It was a nice experience but not worth 70€ per person.

Thanks a lot to our guide Dimitri and the whole team! I could have continued paddling through Venice for the rest of the day - and I think it's even more chilling in the dark! My friend an me had heard of exploring Venice by kayak. Before we'll do it by our own, it was a good idea to book the tour to get some information about how to do it best.. What is allowed and what isn't.. About the traffic rules etc.. Dimitri was a funny and openminded guide who had a lot of local stories to tell. Quiet often we stopped to listen briefly to him.. I guess that's one reason why the actual distance we paddled wasn't that long. Even though, I would defenitely recommend the tour to everybody! I'd say that 100 min are perfect for beginners or less sporty people - or just to have a totally extraordinary city tour experience you'll never forget! Flora and Chris

The other two clients failed to turn up, and I had an excellent personal tour on my own with the guide. He was a history student and told me a lot about the history of Venice. I am British but keen to practice my Italian, so he spoke in Italian, and translated when necessary. We went a little into the lagoon, and would have gone further had I wished, I could choose between visiting the ghetto and exploring the lagoon more. My train was delayed and I tried by email and phone to get in touch see what I could do if I was late, but got no reply, but in the end I was on time. Other clients turned up to SUP or kayak unbooked, and the guide dealt with them well and flexibly.

Such a beautiful tour at dusk and the guide was very sweet, professional and personable. He told us some very interesting stories and shared some laughs as we hid under a bridge during a 5 min downpour!! (Which all cleared up and had a lovely tour in the end). Would def recommend!

A real must do for anyone visiting Venice ! From the authentic Venetian guide (ask for Elena) to the stunning night time relaxed experience it was by far the highlight of my trip ! Even the pedestrians were shouting at us wanting to join in ! Book early and make sure you pick Real Venetian Kayaks above the rest !

Great experience with Real Venetian Kayak. The tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable and the tour is fun and safe. You get to see Venice from the canals and the edge of the lagoon. When the family in my group wanted to return early, one of the two tour guides stayed and finished my tour herself. Getting in and out of the kayak can be a bit difficult depending on the tide, so you need relatively good mobility, but the staff are very helpful with it. If possible, book for a day that should have good weather!
