Room not ready at our time of arrival, although they explicitly ask for the time to guarantee the room being ready. Then toilet paper was not refilled after the previous guests, only one coffee pad was there for three guests and the tee and sugar packages looked like being crumbled by dozens of people before. The shower has no door, so after the first person has showered the next one using the toilet gets wet feet. The window in the bathroom has no shades/blinds and so in the very early morning you wake up by the light shining directly in your face. Breakfast for Italian levels with quite a lot options - however, eggs taste old and the coffee machine is broken, but you are actively invited by the staff to use it (it just doesn't add coffee to the water or milk it dispenses). After checking out and walking to the parking lot 2 blocks away you need to return a sheet of paper (parking permit) to the reception - but there is nothing on it that could not be printed again. So you have to cruise around several one-way streets just to bring back some paper. Florence is one of the most expensive cities when it comes to tourist taxes: 4 EUR per night and person.

Such a lovely stay we had with you guys. Me, my wife and son felt welcome and received a great room, clean and a view. The breakfast was outstanding. All staff members we met are great professionals and kind.

The Orcagna is a lovely little boutique hotel that is super clean and well located. If you're a walker, it is within walking distance of all points of interest, and if you can find your way to the river, you'll always find your way home. You can take the bus from the train station and then it's a short walk to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and offers a great deal of variety - they'll even make you a cappuccino upon request. Our room was the penthouse suite with a private hot tub and sundeck. The views were breathtaking! The staff was was kind and helpful and even made us a bagged breakfast when we had early departures. It was a fabulous place to stay in Florence!

This hotel was the perfect end to a long walk along the Via degli Dei from Bologna to Florence. We stayed in the Deluxe Apartment which is a very spacious self-contained outside flat on the ground floor with double bed, ensuite shower room, lounge area, kitchen area with dining table and minibar, outside seating and private use of the outside hot tub. The lady on the front desk was very helpful in showing us how to use the tub, and for sourcing drinks that the hotel didn't have in stock. The hotel was about 20 minute walk to the centre but there are many restaurants and shops nearby. There was a range of items at the continental breakfast in the morning so it was quite busy with all the other guests from the hotel. Note - The listing I saw said there was a jacuzzi bath as well as a hot tub, but just be aware there's just a shower in the bathroom, no separate bath in case you were expecting that.

Great stay in general. Friendly staff, only 15 minutes walk to the main attractions. Breakfast ok. You can get the bus C2/C3 too.

Everything was perfect. The rooms and the common space were very clean. The bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast was excellent. Bonus points: they had americano coffee for breakfast, but at the request they could offer you capucino or espresso.

The place was perfect if you looking to be in Florence but not be in the major hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet streets, local food but the main downtown is just a quick 15 minute walk. Rooms were clean the terrace was the perfect way to catch sunrise over the city!

Lovely hotel with great customer service, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Considering how crowded this area was, it’s probably better to stay near downtown. Taxi’s don’t come around here very much. If you have a rental car, parking is a challenge. Despite all that, we enjoyed our experience.

Small hotel not too far from the city centre. Parking is 15 Euro in a closed parking lot which is also video watched. The staff in this hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. The two ladies from the reception were super lovely. That's why I give 5 Stars. Breakfast was allright.

An amazing hotel. We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. The two ladies at the reception were very helpful and polite. Really nice breakfast with a lovely lady to assist you. The hotel it's around 15 to 20 minutes walking from the city centre but it gives you the option to rent a bike in a good price. Definitely recommend it and hopefully we'll be back again. Grazie!

Comfortable room, good service ... you have to walk a bit to visit Florence main attractions

Our room was spotlessly clean.it was luxurious.wonderful bathroom with a big shower,.the room was modern and cosy,definately stay there again, Nice friendly personal.

Lovely place, great staff and amazing breakfast! I'll just take one star off cause the hotel is quite noisy (all pipes and all), and our spa bath was broken.

This place was really something. You could see the sunrise over Florence from the balcony while sitting in the hot tub. A few things to consider in advance if booking with a group of friends: The shower doesn't offer much privacy to the bathroom or the room itself so it could be an uncomfortable experience if you aren't close with who you're staying with. The hot tub takes a few hours to fill up and doesnt stay full if you decide to prefill and come back later, so plan accordingly if you are trying to use it. Overall great room though.

The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious (even for 4 people), very clean and modern. Different then most places in Italy the shower was great! Even though we arrived before the checkin time, the team arranged that we could go to the room earlier. I stayed in a family room with my parents and brother, for one night it was perfect. Breakfast was prepared with love by one of the sweets Italian lady I ever met.

Wonderful friendly staff, room so clean, modern and well furnished. Our top floor two bedroom suite with outdoor hot tub was so beautiful we didn't want to leave. Travelled with three teenage children and we all fell in love with this Hotel. Breakfast outstanding, a good walk to all attractions. In a lovely quiet area. We can't wait to return.

The room was clean, specious and organized. The team were kind and friendly. They organized our check-out very good with the taxi and the breakfast. The breakfast was also delicious, and you are welcomed in the morning by a smiling, gentle lady. My experiment with the hotel is very pleasant

Wonderful stay, very easy check in process, with a very helpful lady that even made it possible to check in early (this was very appreciated) I did not get her name but she was delightful. Lovely hotel!! It’s located in a quiet area, only 20 min walk to downtown. Breakfast is delicious and if we were late, they would wait for us to finish to close the buffet. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. They made us feel like at home :)

The hotel is great: rooms, breakfast, ... Staff is really kind and Cristina helped me filling my covid form to come back home, she was really patient while i did it for four people. If i go back to Firenze, for sure I stayed again there.

The most wonderful staff and so very clean. Orcagna is not a fancy hotel, but it is super convenient and very very clean. I had left my passport and my credit cards I. The safe. Cristina contacted me and sent my belongings within twenty four hours. She kept in touch with until I had received my stuff. I am forever thankful to her. Love love the hotel.
