I don't understand the negative reviews. It is a 4 star hotel so some quality is expected, yes, but it is also incredibly cheap for its location. The help desk staff are all very polite and helpful. They recommended places to eat, and fulfilled our requests for taxis/reservations. The rooms are kept very clean. The bathrooms are nice and work well. The beds are good. We had a lovely view of the river and the town as we were on the 6th floor which also has a large balcony area. The hotel is air conditioned which is essential in the summer. The breakfast buffet is quite basic but is very large. There are many different items to choose from: meat, cereal, cheese, pastries, coffee, salad, fruit, etc. and i was very happy with it. I'd definitely come back here if I visit Florence again.

Excellent apartments, very attentive attendants, good room service and varied breakfast. Has a nice view, although not facing the principal part of the city. The rooms are spaced and have a private bathroom. Real bathroom, With bath. A little expensive though, but royally worth it.

Not recommended. Old hotel but not well maintained. Booked for two nights on a solo trip to Florence, since it was one among the few last minute budget options available. Checked in around 2300 hrs. I was given a room in the fifth floor, where all the other rooms were empty. I was welcomed by a musty smell in the room. Bathroom was very cramped and felt like a makeshift one. Room was dimly lit. Around 0200 hrs I was woken up by a loud rustling noise from a nearby room. Soon afterwards the fire alarm went off. I rushed to the receptionist and was told the alarm was faulty. Air conditioning was really bad. Couldn't sleep properly. Checked out the next day by evening.

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful about the surrounding areas. Room was lovely and the bath was incredible with super hot water. A little out of the way in terms of the touristy stuff in the centre (about 30min stroll) but it's in a great spot for evening drinks with a whole host of lovely pop up bars on the river within 5-10mins stumbling distance. The number 14 bus is just around the corner and takes you straight to the main train station, just buy tickets in the cafe in front of the bus stop. Our room was comfy with air conditioning, a fridge and a nice little balcony and whilst not a fantastic view it was still nice to see the mountains in the distance. Overall a very nice stay with super nice staff and easy access to simple public transport to the centre and a nice array of bars nearby.

The wifi didn't work in the rooms, and it was slow or broken in the loundge, the shower was horrible,no curtains whatsoever, the bed was allright, but I've seen better. The room was poorly lit and small. The staff is ok, and the restaurant could've of been worse, but overall the problems were overshadowing the good parts. Overall, a pretty bad hotel, who does not deserve it's 4 star rating, and the location is not good too. Maybe some rooms are better than others and I wasn't lucky.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience what the holidays of my grandmother felt like.... Very oldest hotel guys. The location is nice with great views, however it desperately needs renovation. Ince that's done, I believe it will be a great hotel with a lot of potential. On a positive note, the staff are very helpful and welcoming and, surprisingly, the WiFi worked pretty well!

Rooms dated. Fridge not working. Don't arrive on a Sunday as everything nearby is closed. There is no restaurant or bar, so you'll be hungry and thirsty. The air conditioning barely works. The toilet leaked and taps fell off. Sockets broken. On the plus side the staff were helpful. A good choice at breakfast. Take a stroll in the evening to the bars and street food huts beside the river. It was a pity the hotel was so far away from central Florence.

Only spent 1 night here. But it’s everything you pay for. It was about a 30minute walk to the central area, so if you don’t mind a walk then this is great. Breakfast was okay, good selection of fruits, toast, and pastries. As for the room, simple, clean, and working bathroom! Good basic hotel!

Very helpful staff. Gave good information on the bus and local area. Room small but clean and serviced daily. Bar closed but staff said we could get our own drinks and use the roof terrace. We didn't so can't comment on this. Nice outdoor tapas bar 5 minutes walk on the river, very cool and convenient. As a brit it took a bit of getting used to not being able to get a drink until 6pm earliest. Not too far from the train station. Nice feeling to the area. Easy bus trip into Florence centre. Breakfast rudimentary but perfectly acceptable. Not a bad budget choice at all.

The place was fine. The room was big and breakfast was okay. Far from the old town. Was nice

Nice Room but with dated and old decoration, bathroom could have been better, no shower curtains. Very nice and helpfull staff. The breakfast was not very diverse but acceptable. Not really sure how it is 4 star hotel

Terrible experience. Was there with a friend for 4 nights. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in and IΒ΄ve had my share of hotel stays. I was charged twice the amount listed in the original reservation. No shower doors, dirty, terrible service. Avoid this hotel.
