Me and my boyfriend visited Florence at the beginning of March. I chose this hotel for couple of reasons - location which is indeed great and super convenient, you can walk anywhere. Another reason was the unique style of this hotel, very boutique and elegant. The down fall of this is that the room we stayed in was just next to the breakfast room and the rooms are not well sound proofed so we could hear people eating 8am and music playing. Little disappointing but thats what you get in an old building. And last reason why I chose this hotel was the valet parking which you get however what a surprise we got when upon checkout there is this gentleman with card machine asking for 90euros for parking.... So if you planning to book the hotel for parking, you should be aware of this. Overall, the hotel and staff were great - Nicco always a big help and he gave us some great tips for trips around Florence. Thank you!

Such a fantastic hotel. Niccolo, the host, is amazing. Nothing was a problem, always greeted us with a smile and joke. The room we had was amazing, as was the room our friends had. If you’re a thrill seeker like us, and drive to the hotel, the hotel offers valet parking, which I would strongly recommend. If following your GPS, you may find it takes you down the wrong way, don’t worry, but I was assured that it is ok, and you’re allowed to drop your bags to the front door. Extremely spacious rooms, definitely great for couples. I hope to return.

First, I would like to underline the whole stuff (hello, Margerita, Nicco, Anoop&colleagues!), to whom I thank, the perfect cleanliness, the location (close to everything, still very quiet) and the beauty of the place itself. Recently renovated, modern amenities. One word-excellent!

It is a very pleasant experience to stay in this beautiful, elegant boutique hotel. The Hotel locates in a quiet area across the river from downtown. The atmosphere of the area is quite like the 'Rive gauche' in Paris. Above all, the service is excellent. The staff, Niccolo and Margaret, offer a friendly, cordials service and advises. Just like another hotel we stayed in this Tuscan vacation in Siena, we miss you. Thank you very much.

We stayed at the Palazzo Guicciardini during our honeymoon! The ceilings had beautiful art, the rooms were clean and the service was amazing! Plus it’s really close to Piazza Pitti and plenty of good restaurants. They even helped us coordinate mailing back our sunglasses from a restaurant where we left them 😅 Will visit again!

The hotel room is simply stunning and the ceiling is something too behold when waking up ,the receptionist was very helpful but for the standard of the hotel the breakfast was slightly disappointing.

It was great stay !! The hotel is museum !! Unbelievable! Fantastic location , walking distance to the best sights , the name of the street where hotel situated says already everything!!! It was absolutely great service , Niccolò made our stay very comfortable , given us the best of his service , friendly , was paying attention for the smallest details and requests, organized even very early breakfast for us before breakfast time , in order to help us before going for the long guide tour that day , he advices us well regarding restaurants and made the reservations for us , it was much like family hotel !! Warm , friendly atmosphere. Beautiful Christmas trees!!! Nice decoration. Wonderful experience. And what was important for us, the hotel was very silent at the night and in the morning , was very nice to sleep , it’s rare at the hotels. There was a very nice classic music in the morning in the beautiful dining room for the breakfast . If I may suggest , but it’s not that important, it’s to have the bathrobes at the rooms and include in breakfast some salty food ( like cheese with ham… )not only the sweet ones. But this is very small details of no importance. Thank you very much for all. Hope to be with you again . Greetings from Geneva . Kind regards Anna Schwieger and family !

Very beautiful rooms. The ceilings are simply spectacular. Niccolo is an amazing host and clearly cares a great deal about the guests. He kept in touch our entire travel day and even arranged for a car service to fetch us from the airport when our flight was delayed. Definitely try the morning breakfast. It’s a light fair of fruit and pastries, and the espresso is wonderful. All you need to get your day started. We can’t wait to come back to Florence and stay at Palazzo Guiccardini again. Thanks for an amazing time!

It’s essential to pay attention of which room are you getting before, the suite for 2 doesn’t look like the pictures, specially the bathroom and there’s no bathtub like they show in all the other pictures. At the same time, this room it’s facing a very loud street, thing to keep in mind if you stay for a weekend. We’ve been there in February and the room was so cold, and the point that we needed to ask for another blanket. Breakfast it’s quite poor but the coffee it’s good. After 4 there’s no one in the reception.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel is very well placed, spacious and clean and very good value. The team also go above and beyond, helping us to locate a lost package the day before our wedding. Highly reccomended!

It was truly an experience. Fantastic large room (and we had the small one) with original fresco ceilings and a really nice decoration. And Niccolò is one of the kindest and most helpful hosts we’ve ever met.

It is a very beautiful palace, full of paintings on the ceilings and walls. It seems to be back in the Reinassence world. Fantastic location, a few steps close to Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio and the heart of Florence. A place where to be and to come back. The staff is very gentle and supportive.

Outstanding interiors, incredibly high ceilings, great breakfast, and super kind staff. Very close to everything in city. If I come back to Firenze, for sure here.

This is a lovely small hotel in a historic palazzo right near the river. Beautiful room, frescoes on the ceiling, comfy bed, hot shower, delightful welcome

Boutique hotel situated in a fantastic location. The hotel and rooms itself are full of charm, and the service is exceptional. Each of the rooms is uniquely appointed with original fresco paintings and tons of history. This is our go to place when in Florence. I would book this with no hesitation.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! Great location, beautiful hotel, great staff and great service. The hotel is located in a perfect spot - a block away from the Arno river and the Ponte Santa Trinita and a 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. On the south side of the City in a quieter area from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Yet, steps away from wonderful restaurants, some very nice boutiques and quiet residential streets for wonderful walking. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful. Walk through a well-decorated wood portico door, up the stairs to a wonderfully adorned and appointed hotel felt like travelling back in time to visit a Duke. The reception and sitting room were pretty. The dining/breakfast area was ample for the number of hotel rooms (I think only 6 rooms). Lastly, the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful! Large, Queen bed with lots of room to walk around. And the ceiling fresco was stunning. Imagine waking up to that every morning - felt like I was in an art gallery. I understand that there are other rooms even more beautiful than the one we stayed in...we peeked into the large bedroom and the fresco on the ceiling and walls was spectacular. The staff is top notch - Niccolo and Ivy were very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and they made a mean espresso!! They shared lots of ideas and recommendations for a fantastic cocktail bar that overlooks the Arno and the City (Bar SESTO), to where to get some wonderful Panforte (Il Cantuccio San Lorenzo). If you are planning to visit Florence, I would strongly suggest this hotel. The price is comparable for hotels in Florence, the location is fantastic, the staff is great and the hotel is just beautiful. To the staff and the owners - keep up the good work!!

The boutique hotel is very cozy, beautiful and historic. Niccolo’ was our host, we could not have had anybody better. He was attentive, always on time, extremely professional and dressed for a fashion show. If we are ever back in Florence we will definitely stay at the Palazzo Guicciardini.
