Fantastic hotel. Staff made you feel at home and really went out of their way. Great breakfast. We had room 210 with its own lift. Back garden great place to sit. The hotel is out of the main tourist area but plenty of local places to eat and drink.

Beautiful 19th century palazzo stylishy modernised. Quietly attentive staff. A little way (25 or so minutes) from sights on foot, but this allows breakfast to walked off! Room described as "soundproofed". This is a bit of a stretch, but thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will not look for any other hotel when I return to Florence.

I’ve had the most fantastic experience at Palazzo Lorenzo travelling with my mother, and this is primarily because of the excellent hospitality and service especially by Enrico at the front desk. Greeted us with a smile from the beginning to the end of our two day stay at the hotel, and couldn’t appreciate how accommodating he was throughout enough. The breakfast was a lovely spread, the decor of the hotel is quite nice, and if ever in Florence again, I would book the same hotel. The location is a little over a kilometre from the railway station so a bit of a walk, the only downside but otherwise truly would highly recommend.

Rooms a little small however very comfortable. Breakfast in the courtyard was fabulous; wonderful choice and so relaxing. All staff welcoming and helpful. Walk to the centre about 1.3 miles down Via S Otto; ordinarily a lovely route but difficult in the extreme heat.

The room was very small, dirty and noisy and we paid more than 350 euros per nights. The receptionist on the last day takes advantage of the fact that we are tourists and makes you pay additional taxi fares that he does not cover. If you need help don’t ask the réception it’s a disaster. However the place is nice and unfortunately we couldn’t try spa cause we had no information in the room either the reception.

Room a little on the small side but extremely comfortable with good air conditioning. Excellent breakfast choices. In the extreme heat (or if mobility is somewhat impaired) a taxi would be required but for walkers it's a reasonable walk to the centre. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff (a special mention to Jonas who was most charming and helpful). Overall a most enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 4 nights and have to say the service was outstanding! Especially Renato and Mattia- they were very helpful with questions, recommendations and getting taxi service when we requested. While the rooms were a bit small - they bathroom was large and the shower spacious. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every day - our only request would be to start the breakfast service earlier - as we had excursions and were very rushed to be able to eat and get to the meeting points. The location was further from the central area than we expected - and as it was our first visit - that was a bit disappointing. Overall a wonderful stay - and we wished we had an extra day to try the spa services.

I LOVE this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, the service was phenomenal, and the location was ideal. They have a spa (that you have to reserve) for 25 Euro a person and you HAVE to do this. It was one the best spa’s I’ve been too (coming from Colorado). It’s a little bit of a walk (.5-.7) to get to some places but there’s so much to see along the way. They offer maps, late night croissants, and even chess. I will come here again if I come back to Florence.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The whole structure is great, amazing rooms and the SPA and the breakfast are a must. Matteo, who took care of us during almost the entire stay, was extremely sweet and professional. We hope to be back soon!

Overall we had a really nice experience at this lovely hotel with great staff & service. The team were really helpful with providing gluten free breakfast options for my wife who is coeliac. The room we had was really nice and cosy, even though it overlooked the road it wasn’t too noisy. The area is good as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the centre - a 20-25min walk - and we always felt safe walking back at night. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed last week for 5 nights, beautiful hotel. Staff we're all really friendly and helpful, lovely room with huge windows and a great view of the courtyard. Fantastic breakfast with a huge selection. The only slight negative was we were told our booking didn't include the use of the spa which we were unaware of. Our booking agent had said the use of the spa was inclusive apart from treatment etc . Maybe a little more information in the room would be helpful. However this did not spoil our stay.overall a great place to stay. 👍👍

Very nice hotel, traditional style Italian building and very well presented with excellent decor. Evident that a lot of work has gone into making this a quality place. Straight from the start, the check in was excellent and informative. Room really nice and really comfortable. Breakfast good with a nice spread, service very good. Lovely spar in the basement with whirlpools, sauna and steam room. It is located about 30 minutes walk from the mason attractions, but taxi is available if needed.

Good location. Great service. Helpful, professional staff offering personalised service. Very good breakfast. Room spacious, clean, nicely decorated (as is the whole hotel), complimentary sweets and beautiful apples for all guests..... Terrific atmosphere.

Modern and clean rooms, very friendly welcome. Breakfast was good. It was a 15 minute walk from the cathedral but much less expensive than closer hotels.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is well located; away from city centre so it’s quiet enough and just a short 15 to 20 mins walk to the centre. Some nice restaurants close by for meals; and an excellent Cafe called Cafe Liberta just 2 mins away! My husband was in love with this cafe; for the authentic Italian coffee and pastries. Must try if you stay at this hotel. Free breakfast at the hotel was a simple and nice spread. In the evening, the hotel serves pre dinner snacks complimentary and you can purchase a drink or two. The Italian biscuits and biscotti were really good. Room and bathroom was a good size and very clean and comfortable. Pillow cases changed daily. The room ceiling is really high and nice. Bed was really pretty. Oh and lovely biscuits in the room complimentary. There are mosquitoes as expected in Italy though; but the coil helped some. Service was pleasant. Our only complaint was that we were not informed about the parking charges per day upon check in. We assumed the parking was provided complimentary. However on checking out we were informed parking was euro 20 per day; which is fine...but it would have been good to be informed prior for budgeting purposes. All in all a really solid 4 star hotel.

Thank you for making our engagement so special. Upon arrival we were granted access to the parking area behind the hotels gates. This was well worth the money we paid to keep our hire car secure. Breakfast was continental style so if you're expecting a full English you may be disappointed but the breakfast was actually delicious. The room was clean, tidy and beautifully furnished and the 6:30pm - 8pm apertivo was a nice touch. The staff couldn't do enough for us and directed us on how to pay an unpaid toll we had outstanding on the hire car. All in all a great hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel and staff were wonderful, there was a hot wate issue on some days in the garden house rooms but was fixed. Break fast buffet was nice. The bathroom was massive, and toiletries were always provided. The hotel is set back from the main centre but within walking distance so perfect location. Parking is available for €20/day but 12hrs on the surrounding street parking is around €15. The central garden area was very nice and relaxing. Bar the hot water issue, our stay was perfect.

Very nice hotel with pretty good location in Florence. City center can be reached in 10-15mins on foot. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything what we needed. Rooms were also nice but nothing extraordinary. The spa was OK - could be cleaner in my opinion.
