Good service, good price and decent rooms. Don’t expect five star hotel rooms with a view overlooking the city at this hotel, but do expect to get your money’s worth. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are a little bit outdated but honestly not bad. Overall for the price, location and service I would give it a 3-4 out of 5, would recommend.

Lady at front desk was super helpful. Answered all my questions and gave me a map. She wrote down all the places I should visit. Told me the bus I needed and where to get on it. Can't ever get a better employee.

the place is renewed and very clean, the personnel is very friendly and they try really hard to make you feel welcome and your stay the most pleasant. all the rooms are big with a spacious bathrooms. among amenities are mini safe deposit box and mini fridge, water kettle, selection of teas and coffee and all the toiletries. you get the most value for your money. and you have just 10 min walk in each direction to get to main city attractions. would really recommend it for a short stay in florence!

Amazing hotel, especially for the price! Clean, modern room, especially the bathroom and shower were great. Reception was super nice and helpful. Location is really good, 8 mins walk from the main train station and 2 mins to the river. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a great place to stay in Florence, staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was perfect with lots of facilities and it’s a quiet place. The bad reviews are old and these don’t reflect what the hotel is now. Great stay

A lot of mold under wallpaper, especially in room 109. Staff was friendly, location good, but the smell in the room like in the cellar…and then we found out why.👎

Outdated rooms. They were a good size and functional but not terribly clean and the decor was pretty old and worn. Staff were nice enough though, the place just needs a freshen up, which I believe they may have been doing to some rooms as there was work happening whilst we were there.

Its not luxurious, but does the job very well and pretty good location. 10-15 mins walk from all major attractions and the main train station. Perfect for peole looking for Florence sightseeing, or halt before a Tuscany road trip

This is a really nice hotel, and I’m not sure why the review score here is so low. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location puts you at the heart of the city, without being in the touristy bit, and the rooms are clean with great showers too. The decor is a little rough around the edges, but it’s a great place to stay, especially at the price. Would 100% stay here again.

Great experience and very good conditions! We knew about the past reviews and read the comments related to the previous management team before booking, but noticing that the more recent one's did not reflect what was criticized. That is a story of the past! The new team and employees are very amiable and kind. Always there to help and guide you. We even received a small Florence introduction and suggestions on what to visit nearby and around the city. The room was very clean and more than useful for 2 adults and 1 child for 3 nights. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the train station and is near the Gamberini Pasticceria (an amazing pastry shop where you can also order lunch). There is also a Conad 5 min away from the hotel to buy the daily needed products. Ponte Vecchio is also 15-20 min away by walking. Oltrarno is very close, approximately 10 minutes. Overall, a hotel I'd recommend looking at for a couple of nights in Florence and a place we would be happy to come back to again. I gave 4 stars as, of course, there is still room for improvement or renovation of some parts of the hotel, rooms, for example, old windows but that did not matter that much for us as our overall experience was great! Oh, and by the way, the B.Ice gelateria, which is 1 minute away, is really a hidden gem!

Nice and spacious rooms. Staff is very helpful. Location is great since many tourist spots are around a 10min walk.

We stayed here for three nights in mid July. I am leaving good reviews hoping to counteract the dozens of horrible reviews for this place. We had a good experience! Here's the unglamorous stuff: the breakfast sucks horribly, don't even try it, there is a fabulous cafe next store, go there instead; outside of our window smelled like pure sewage, but The AC worked wonderfully, so we didn't have to worry about that; the carpets are stained and the walls are peeling in some spots. The good stuff: the beds are pretty good (but we've been camping for 6 weeks so anything would be better than the ground), the AC is great, the room has great shutters to keep out the light, and it was super quiet in our room so we slept pretty well most nights, the bathrooms are really nice, and the staff are very friendly! I would recommend this place for people on a budget and not needing super nice stuff, just AC and a quiet place to sleep. I enjoyed it!

Good location. (Near Santa Maria Novella station). Rooms were big but a little bit “worn out”. They have no kitchen so no breakfast but it is ok because you have cafeterias nearby. For our expectations (and the fair price per night) it was good. Friendly staff (both the Italian and the honduras ladies)

From professional greeting when entering the lobby to chech out, the staff was always very courteous and very helpful. The room was better than expected. Really a good stay in the heart of the city. About 400 feet from the beautiful riverwalk. Less than 0.3 mile walk to the ultra convenient T2 airport transit. Easy on easy off and about 3 euros for a couple.

Not sure why it is rated badly here. The rooms are comfy. The location is great. The front desk is very friendly and they help you with where to roam around in Florence.
