A friend and I spent a Saturday evening at this hotel in our room chatting and listening to music at a moderate volume. At one point, we opened an unlocked door in our suite, which turned out to lead into another guest's suite, and we immediately closed the door. We went to bed by 1:30AM. The hotel claimed our behavior was so egregious, they fined us 200 euro, threatened to send our passport info to the police, and complained to Expedia about us. We paid the charge in the interest of putting this behind us, but were thoroughly put off by the hostility of the management. What kind of hotel leaves doors into other suites unlocked? In what other context does a hotel get to decide you've been talking for too long on a Saturday night and need to pay up? Don't stay here if you like talking, laughing, music, or rooms where other guests can't accidentally walk in.

A little belated review. Had a wonderful time at Piazza Pitti Palace in May 2016. We were a group of 4 and occupied 2 rooms. My wife and I stayed at il Pittino room which is their biggest suite (an apartment really) and it was awesome. The other two people stayed at the Royal suite which was also great. The rooms were very palatial with charming frescoes and tons of character, but also offering modern amenities such as air conditioning, luxurious bathrooms, flat screen tvs, etc. The hosts at the Piazza Pitti Palace were great and very helpful. We also had breakfast there one of the mornings which was delicious. Definitely recommend considering Piazza Pitti Palace when visiting Florence - unbeatable location and wonderful experience.

If there's a zero star I will prefer to rate that. We went there expecting to get the best Flavour of Florence food. But a lot of disappointment. Pasta is horrible. When we told the food was not good the response we got was "Do not eat if you don't like it" Neither I would go again nor recommend it to anyone I know.

Perfect location for Pitti palace visit. Restaurants nearby were terrific. Easy walk across the Arno to all sights. Our room was beautiful, breakfast was lovely. The girls who work there extremely attentive FYI- if you have scent allergies there was a diffuser with a strong scent, also felt to charge for a coke at breakfast( when you aren’t a coffee drinker) coke is your caffeine was petty Otherwise a nice stay

We were knocked out by this place. The rooms were romantic, luxurious, spacious and cool. The service couldn't be faulted, very helpful and friendly. The location, opposite the pitti palace, meant that there were restaurants and wine bars on your doorstep without you being on top of a bustling square such as Piazza Santa Spirito. There was free tea and coffee, and even the mini bar prices were good. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Unbelievably amazing hotel. Great service, great location, amazing view of the Palazzo Pitti, and the interior of the room was stunning. Important: at the height of summer, we were experiencing temperatures over 35C on a daily basis, but the remote controlled airco system was phenomenal. We haven't actually left yet, but a big thank you to the staff here for making our stay unforgettable.

We booked a non refundable reservation using our credit card. We received a confirmation email immediately. Two days later they emailed a form with a request for our credit card info again. We've traveled around the world and have never been asked to give our credit card information through 2 different means. We were concerned the website we used was fraudulent and asked them to cancel our reservation if they could not use the credit card that was accepted online. They advised I could wire the money if I preferred, which made me even more concerned I was being scammed. We canceled our credit card which had not yet been charged yet, and they advised they would cancel my reservation.

Though i didnt stay here at the hotel, i had food at the restaurant. The experience was horrible. The food price was extremely high compared to the quality and quantity of food. There were some extra charges for using cutlery and all which i have never seen(i have visited multiple countries and cities in italy as well). This is just a trick to squeeze money from the tourists. Moreover the behaviour of the staff were pathetic. No option for 0 star so giving 1star. Quick suggestion to other folk is NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE. NEVER!!!

What a fabulous stay. Felt like having a Pierre de terre in Florence. The staff was accommodating and the tub was a luxurious reprieve after all the walking

Amazing rooms and service. Walkable distance to main attractions. The keys to lock can be a bit rough but I still love this place! Recommended!

Perfect location, super clean, beautiful furniture, great service, and the cleaning lady does an impeccable job making sure the room looks like you just checked in each day. Not to mention, the ceiling art in gorgeous. The best small hotel I've ever stayed in!

Amazing small hotel. The perfect experience: we were contacted the day we arrived and informed well. Also they arranged a valet parking. The hotel is located perfectly, in the new town, but 5 minutes walk to enter the old city. 5 minutes from the hotel there’s a little square with winebars and a great restaurant. We The hotel room was great, huge and walk in shower. When we came back from a long day there was cold peach juice and cookies. Letizia from the reception was very nice and helped us with all our requests.
