If you’re reading this review, do yourself a favour and dont book this place. They put a 59 year old homeless women who was erratically talking to herself, in a room with us 2 young girls and when we said we are uncomfortable they laughed at us in our face and told us that we are ageists, classicist and racist. To begin with the day we got there we landed late so we come to the place at 12am, checked in and ask which are our beds and they didnt tell us, they just said whichever looks free. We get to this 4 person room and only one of the beds is made, one bed that looks like its been slept in and 2 other girls sleeping in the beds. We had to go back down and they just handed us fresh sheets to make the dirty bed. Then next day go to shower and the shower in the room had no cold water so we just had to shower with boiling water. The toilet in the room is also put there as an extension so you can hear absolutely everything when someone is in there. The room of 4 beds also only has 2 power plugs that were both dodgy and barely working as well. The lockers in the room also dont lock even if you have a tiny padlock, so good luck keeping ur stuff safe. And no privacy in the rooms either so you wake up with someone else’s face in front of you about less than half a metre away from you. Then final straw is when a lady walks in, obviously older, no shoes on, dirty blankets in hand that has leaves and dirt all over it and a bag of coins, erratically talking to herself and not stopping, keeps going in and out the room ever 10 seconds. So obviously we are a bit uncomfortable we go to ask to just get moved to another room because we aren’t comfortable even going for dinner and leaving our stuff in lockers that dont lock yet alone sleep there, only to be laughed at in our face and insulted by 2 of the staff at reception. I never mentioned any race about this women or anything about what she was wearing or looks like in general, just the things that are uncomfortable to watch like her talking to herself and also dirty blanket that smells in the room we are all sharing, and yet they decided we are the worst type of people for asking to either be moved or get a refund so we can go sleep somewhere else. Dont do it :)

Rooms and bathrooms clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Those are the positives. Hostel is around 25-30 minutes walk to the city center. My issue however is with the laundry…… €5 euro for a wash…..and then €5 for a dry. Then you find out for this €10 you need to go and buy your own soap. For that price tag they could at least give you a measly tide pod. For this I can only give 4 stars. If you don’t plan on doing your laundry I would recommend staying here.

Stayed two nights and bed seemed unsanitary. I was bitten by ticks over 30 parts all over my body, neck, hands, legs, soles, and face. See the pics, thought only my hands. I have been itchy stii now after 10 days of my trip.

The rooms are average and some even have a complete bathroom despite the advertising stating the the bathroom is shared. Everything is clean. You have no air conditioning. WiFi does not reach the bedrooms. Breakfast is great and worth every cent. Dinner is also good although with not as much choice as breakfast. Outside space is nice and staff is available 24h.

My 2nd favourite hostel from my Italy trip. Rooms were nice. Staff were very helpful and considerate. The atmosphere of the place was fun, there are many tenants and fellow travelers to hangout with. There's also a lounge area with a TV, great for movie nights winding down after sightseeing.

Great, never been into a Hostel till now, but was better than some of 2-3 stars hotels. Friendly staff, healthy breakfast, full and good wi-fi, full facilities to prepare your own meal. Beyond all expectations, we felt young again and I'll reccomend 7 Santi to anyone will ask about Florence accommodation. Thank you!

The best: big big and clean hostel. The female shared room I got was very spacious and clean. Filled with soap and hair drier. Some lockers to put your stuff. Bring a lock always. Buffet breakfast for 5€ was good too. The dining room is cute with some spaces to do some smart work. Location could be a problem, 20 min by bus from the Santa Maria Station. Some good point is the supermarket conad next to the hostel.

Honestly was expecting much worse given some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. All the facilities you need despite a kitchen but why would you need that anyway with so many great reasonably priced local restaurants. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean

Nice place to stay in Florence. Clean room with fresh towels provided every day and the staff are helpful. The shower is very good too. There was a wall mounted fan instead of an air conditioner which isn't as effective at cooling the room and, just as i was leaving, I noticed that the water in the bathroom had stopped running

Decent hostel with clean rooms, but it is quite far from the city centre (about a 40 minute walk). The rooms do not lock automatically and you need a big lock to actually secure your locker. The best thing about the hostel honestly was the big fluffy towels included with the linen. I didn't have breakfast buffet and the price didn't seem worth it. There is only a tiny table with a kettle, toaster and microwave in the corner for people who want to make their own food. The happy hour bar special was great, but it was often difficult to find the bartender. I would not recommend this hostel for solo travelers.

It felt like the room had a mosquito farm inside of it. Couldn't sleep from all the mosquito bites, woke up with about 20 bites on my body. We couldn't keep the windows open because of all the bugs and the room only had a small fan that didn't work properly. Shared bathrooms didn't have any soap and paper towels were not restocked after our first night. Water in the baths seemed to randomly change temperatures. Would never stay here again even for its low price point.

It’s oké for an overnight stay but not more than that. Would be nice to be at least make your own coffee of tea.

The rooms were fine but the bathrooms smelt and were dirty. The staff were friendly enough. There are no cooking facilities apart from a microwave and kettle but only plastic bowls and cutlery to eat it from, terrible for the environment!

My name is Tia, and I travel for the first time in Firenze . I saw this hotel on booking for the level of reviews on google and quite positive . The hotel is situated 15 minutes from the square by bus, and 30 minutes on foot. Not only there are cheaper prices but the quality is at its highest . Rolandi , the bartender guy, is truly kind and quite professional, the recepstionists are always kind and provide you with informations where to eat, what to visit and how to use means of transport. I would reccomend and come back again. 5/5

Honestly was expecting much worse given some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. All the facilities you need despite a kitchen but why would you need that anyway with so many great reasonably priced local restaurants. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, even has a bar on site which makes socialising a little easier, although it’s not often too busy. The only thing is it’s distance from Florence centre but it’s easily accessible via the bus (15/20 mins) or electric scooters that are available to rent.

The hostel is not social at all, doesn’t have a kitchen (like??? It’s the most important thing for a backpacker!) or a common area to socialize. It is just a place to stay. And I only liked my room because it was a female only, because there were a lot of older men around the hostel. Besides that, my friend tried to call the reception to book another night because she couldn’t leave in the next day and the receptionist was very rude and hung up the phone on her face. The night receptionist as well was always with an angry face. Don’t recommend it.

I stayed there a few years ago and had such a great time! Everyone was so kind and I really enjoyed my stay. Now it seems it doesn't exist any more? No booking possible, no website accessable... Does anybody now what happened?

Staff was nice and ready to help whenever we needed them. The open bar is cheap enough so you can easily drink a sangria while socializing. The beds were comfortable but during the summer the rooms can get quite hot. The showers were great. I highly recommend eating breakfast and dinner here. The only downsides I can think of is the hostel's distance from the city center. However there's a bus stop right in front of the hostel that can easily take you there.

Large hostel, plenty of room. Helpful staff, no dedicated kitchen but there is kettle and microwave plus a dining room. Large courtyard, there is a room in which you can store luggage or a bicycle if you have one. It's about a twenty minute walk from the city centre, do not that close to the attractions. But there is a supermarket, bakery, restaurants and gelateria all on the same street. Very close to the train station, useo if you have a lot of luggage.

It was a great stay, but rather instead of the hostel than because of it. positive: - great cleaning staff, friedly and very throughout - one of the receptions guys was very friendly, but we didnt ask him for wifi. negative: - no wifi in the rooms and the reception lying about the circumstances. The reviews clearly state that wifi is out for at least a few month. They told us it has to be, because of the rain. The next days we were told they are working on it. - in the personal bathrooms there is no space to hang the towels. - the showercable had a loose connection. Most of the water didn't reach the showerhead.

It's functional but nothing more. Everything is dated and could be refreshed. Breakfast is 5euros for a couple items that are often individually wrapped in plastic. Getting breakfast outside is cheaper and better. Despite there being a range of excuses as to why there's momentarily no internet in the rooms, the truth is that there's a router in the lobby and that's it. There's just no internet in the rooms and the staff knows that. Them making up excuses is them lying to their customers.

Honestly, there was something that didn't smell so good, not sure if in the room or the whole building. Can't tell what it was, but it wasn't a pleasent smell. Also no soap in bathroom? Looks like they have reused a huge building as a hostal. Even if friendly staff and nice garden, catch the bus to the centre just outside of it. It's not the best hostal I've stayed at. The bunk beds moved to much if one person moves and makes it dangerous being up. The whole area is so big and old that It seems poor and I couldn't enjoy outside of my room. Probably why it was smelling. I recommend a renovation
