    My favorite coffee find in Florence! The service is fantastic, the lady that runs the shop is very friendly and speaks very good English if you (like me) struggle with Italian, but she's happy to speak to you in either! The coffee is also exceptional, very strong, but nice and smooth. Be sure to say hi to cookie, her sweet six year old pup!

    Lovely café, there’s inside and outside seating. Super cheap coffee and pastries but super delicious! The Crema Coffee aka coffee ice cream is the best I’ve had! The staff were friendly and nice and you get to see Cookie.

    Such a lovely cafe and the owner! Very delicious cookies and pastries, and coffee 🤩 What’s great is that coffee is of a “regular” size (bigger than in other Italian cafes 😊) while prices are rather low. They also have vegan milk options. Would definitely recommend to grab a coffee here

    Another banger of a sandwich in Florence. This was the 3rd I had in the city, and after this, I found out the whole Tuscany region is apparently renowned for its sandwiches.

    Almost every morning I walk from the city centre, Santa Croce area to Via Dei Mille, so surely I have to take the street where Caffè Dolce Amaro is located. A very nice Caffè, friendly ambiance, clean, fast service, with great taste of paste and cappucino. For me it is part of my morning ritual, before working. A great place to recharge your energy in the morning.

    My go-to cafe practically every morning. Small local place with good prices and good drinks. Can't go wrong here. Always say hi to Cookie the dog who usually sits outside and bides his time observing the customers.

    This place was such a gem!! The woman who owns it is so sweet. The pastries we got, while not made in house (like most pastries in Italy tbh), were some of the most unique ones we found in Florence. And the coffee was great. Say hi to her sweet pup Cookie!

    Went here for our first ever coffee in Italy, and really nice it was too – I asked for a macchiatone but got a macchiato; probably my fault with my indistinct enunciation! Very pleasant to sit outside in the street in the warm sunshine.

    Lovely cafe. The Sfoglia al Mirtillo (blueberry custard treat) is sooo good. I recommend that and a cafe late. Also, they have a guard dog 🐕 😄

    The owner here is a wonderful host. Her coffee and pastries are top notch. We came here every day for two weeks. It’s now our favorite cafe in Florence! I recommend the shakerato on a hot day, but everything is excellent.

    I really enjoyed the coffee and the way it is served here. It's a nice little spot and you can sit street-side and enjoy your order. The staff members are friendly and they speak English!

    Francesca is the most genuine and love woman ever! She was so welcoming to myself and my husband the 4 mornings we visited her in Florence. Her cappuccinos are seriously impressive and very large, and the croissants are the perfect pairing for any coffee y Ou get. If you’re in Florence you must make a stop at Caffé Dolce Amaro!
