Caffè Amerini

Restaurant Cafe Bistro Cafeteria Cake shop

🫤 Stopped here for a coffee and pastry for breakfast. Upon entering we (a couple) were immediately told by a man behind the counter, to sit at a table for 2 people. Pointing with no purpose. The restaurant was half empty. We would have only sat at a table big enough for us, even if people were sitting... People often mention coffee, service, Florence,

Stopped here for a coffee and pastry for breakfast. Upon entering we (a couple) were immediately told by a man behind the counter, to sit at a table for 2 people. Pointing with no purpose. The restaurant was half empty. We would have only sat at a table big enough for us, even if people were sitting at larger tables. Perhaps the restaurant has had bad experiences with this, but it isn't such a warm welcome. We subsequently had difficulty ordering and found the service rude. The worst bit was 2 orange juices being priced at €6 each. We were clearly being taken for a ride.

Good little cafe with a vegan croissant and soya milk for coffee. It was nice to have the vegan croissant, which many places have in Florence. But overall it was cute and cozy! Definitely a nice place to stop in :)

We stayed just a short walk away from this cafe during our trip to Florence. Each morning we had delicious pastries and excellent coffee. The staff was very helpful, and it felt as if we were at home each visit.

We stopped to get a quick caffè and Marocchino, it was delicious. They have lactose free milk or soy milk choice. Big smile and very quick service. Big thanks from France 🇫🇷

As somebody who has been to Florence for 12 times I can firmly say this is the best pistachio brioche you will experience. Served warm with abundance of filling inside, it is the perfect companion to their very tasty cappuccino. It does get busy in the mornings but despite of that I always found the service to be polite and adequate.

Caffe Amerini is wonderful! One of my favorite places in all of Florence. They have consistently fantastic food, drinks and service. They are warm, welcoming and exceptionally professional. From the delicious coffee and pastries to the wonderful homemade pastas and plated lunches; I am always impressed with everything here. Please stop in, you won't be disappointed!

Super friendly family who owns the café. Food is super fresh and also very delicious. If you order upfront(so food and bevrages) they then bring it to you at the table. Sitting down cost more than just take away, which is a common thing for Florence. When we found this spot we loved it so much, we decided to just come here for breakfast for the remainder of our vacation. They went on a holiday, when we were in Florence. Which was a small heartbreak for me :( I hope they enjoy their days off! Their pastry is very good aswell. My mom has a hard time eating in the morning, but she enjoyed rice pudding. There is also one with jam, and she said that is even better. (The lady recommended it, so my mum decided to try it) we paid around 45 (not more!)€ for 5 people with 1 bottle of sparkling and still water, 2x cappucino, 3x sandwich, 3x pastry. Wouldn't call that very expensive, especially since the sandwiches were very filling, super fresh and very tasty. Same goes for pastry. Thank you for the pleasant breakfast :)
