I didn’t want to leave Florence because of this bakery and I miss it so much! The coffee and selection of bread, pastries, and desserts are amazing and fantastic value for money. The staff and service are so friendly and welcoming, I ended up coming here every day for breakfast (see photos!). If I ever travel to Florence again this will be the first place I will go back to, thank you so much for such a memorable experience! ♥️

This place has unbelievably delicious pastries! After we ordered one of the staff came out and gave us the Florentine “typical” chocolate brioche pastry and it was amazing and so kind of them to share their culture with us! The cappuccinos were also perfect!

Very friendly staff and plenty of good things to eat. Based on who were around, it is loved by locals too. Totally worth it. They speak English and take cards

Very polite stuff, clean but very small, the flavours of products are acceptable, the quality of cappuccino unfortunately is not good at all but the prices are really reasonable except the bread, I live exactly near of this place, so I highly recommended for sweet, sandwiches and snacks, next week I try other drinks there, today I bought “lo strudel “ it was normal, I had tried better ones but it’s ok

I discovered this small and cozy bakery shop walking around in Florence City center. I ordered cappuccino and croissants and they were really nice and fresh. The croissant with pistachio cream had lots of cream in the middle. The price was really good given the area where it is located. I saw many locals buying their bread and pastries here so assumed they knew where to find good and fresh stuff. The lady that took my order was extremely helpful and polite. I also ordered a tiny pie (it looked like a very small cheesecake filled almost to the brim with pistachio cream but the dough was not so crunchy so it was not my favorite There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at and the guys around are picking up the tables and bringing you the orders whenever they can

The best pastries we had in Italy!! The strawberry cheesecake tarts are a must try. My husband loved the porcini and potato flatbread. The margherita pizza was very good also! There are some stools and ledges by the walls for seating as well.

Everything about this place was perfect!! We were greeted with endless smiles and the staff were so kind n patient with us. Enjoyed the cappuccino so much (best we had in Florence) and you definitely have to try the croissants, chocolate n custard tarts as well as their breads! Tried their puffs too and we absolutely loved the custard ones! Even though it was a 20 mins walk from our accommodation n it wasn’t exactly the most convenient breakfast spot for us, we all agreed that it was well-worth the trip and we would definitely be back the next time we’re in Florence :)

This is my favorite cafe in Florence. I have lived here for a few months, and the staff is always so welcoming. They do speak English for those who do not speak Italian. All of their food is so delicious and they rotate some stuff. They have many different foods both sweet and savory and their coffee is so delicious. It is also incredibly affordable if you are trying to save money.

A perfect place on a rainy day or any day for that matter! The coffee was perfect and the cappuccino was amazing. The baked goods were wonderful and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s so nice to be in an environment where the staff are enjoying their work and the smiles are infectious! We went back in the afternoon for more snacks and a drink.

If your looking for a cute local place to stop and get a taste of Firenze, this is the spot. The pastries are authentic and the espresso is a must. The two women that served us were truly amazing. This is what Italy is all about. Friendly, happy people that are eager to provide excellent service. The prices were exceptional. We will be back! This place is great. We came for breakfast one morning on the basis of the good Google review. At this time of the day it was very busy with locals stopping for a quick snack or cappuccino, many with children on their way to a school down the road. It seemed everyone know everybody else and there was a friendly, happy atmosphere that just was a nice break from the tourist madness otherwise experienced in Florence. As for the food: we shared a handful of baked goods and were happy with everything we had. Indeed, probably the best baked goods we had in Italy.

Such a cosy place with very nice and friendly staff. I had the foccacia and the pistachio croissant, both were amazing 😍 Sara was very friendly and also the guy making the coffee (I did not catch his name). They also gave us free croissants once they knew we were traveling back home. Thank you for that 🙏

I like the pistacchio croissant. The texture of croissant is quite unique. They have both for indoor and outdoor area. Plenty selection of bakery!

Ghibellina bakery is the Best! Coffee is outstanding! The breakfast pastries are incredible! Lunch panini are great! The atmosphere is special! The happy smiles behind the counter will make your day! Wish we had found them on day one but still managed to visit 3 times. It's no wonder they have been serving this community for 133 years. Grazie!
