❌ Nice view but force people to wait while they have plenty of tables! ❌ We went upstairs for a view after being rejected a table. When upstairs we saw 4 tables free and the staff chilling at the bar.

The only thing respectable about this place is view. They force people to wait downstairs in a room for no reason meanwhile the rooftop has open tables. They forgot about my drink order, and my friend had to ask twice for something simple. The staff is useless and not polite. There are better places in Florence.

Rinascente is a designer store, that sells fashion, accessories and shoes and wine, All the designer labels you can think of - with curated ranges. They also have restaurants normally located on the top floor- in Florence the view is beautiful - food is reasonably priced considering you are paying for the view. I opted for a Chicken Caesar Salad €14 which was plentiful - service was very good, and the servers speak English. Freshly squeezed Orange juice was a bit pricey €7 but this is Florence, and juice is expensive everywhere. So if you’re in the area had a shopping trip and want somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle of tourists - definitely worth checking out! If you time it right you might even hear the beautiful sounds of the church bells from the cathedral. Tables are available to book in advance, there is the standard cover charge and a 10% service charge - for sitting on the terrace - but you have to appreciate the staff have to run around a bit to provide fast service - so it’s not really a big deal. American Express is also accepted.

I went straight for the rooftop bar, the food was mediocre, probably the worst cappuccino you can drink in the area and the service was bad (the waitress was irritating and rude). The only thing that’s nice about it is the view.

I decided to go to Rinacente with my friends because I knew it to was a great place sunset and have wine, aperitivo and dinner. The host was rude, then we arrived to the rooftop, no one told us where to sit so we had to find the only empty table ourselves. Ordered wine and aperitivo. I don’t know but we ask the waiter about 3 times to see if we could switch tables because we had no heater and it was very cold, the response was “just a minute” each time. Finally we look to the side to the table we ask to change to and they sat other people. So we decided to just pay what we had ordered and leave. The service is not good at all. Service and satisfaction should be the main goal especially at a place like Rinascente.

Beautiful little shop in Firenze. Well-positioned and well air-conditioned. I am only giving 3 stars though, as some of the staff were quite rude to me, when I was paying for my purchase. I asked a young lady if I can pay with a card, she rolled her eyes at me, as if to say ‘What a stupid question’, and then, she almost threw my purchase at me. I have not confronted her, I understand we all might have an odd day, but good customer service is about making you feel respected as customers. At the end of the day, customers pay staff’s salaries 🤔 Do they not?! 🫤

This is the perfect spot to get a full view of Florence. I would definitely recommend going there. Although you need to know they are not cheap, you're basically paying for the view, it is breathtaking. Their meat and cheese board was good snd their wine selection is great. I'm taking off one star since their service was incredibly slow given they weren't that busy. To get there you need to go into the clothing store, take an elevator or the escalator to the 4th floor, take one flight of stairs up to see the hostess and then another to get to the rooftop.

This review is about the rooftop restaurant. It's very sad that such a beautiful place has such staff. We went to eat, first asked one girl for a menu, then another took us to a table. The first one (she has short hair) didn’t like it and started kicking us out. She was very rude. I think they need to choose their staff carefully. She acted as if we had come to her home. She started screaming and being rude, then she started serving others as if we weren’t there. There were many places. And when I said that she was very rude, she replied that she knew it. I'm just shocked to be honest. Naturally, like any self-respecting person, we turned around and left. The whole mood is ruined. Horrible service. No species is worth such humiliation. Such people have not right to work with people.

I go to this store quite often because it is close to where I live. Various floors and lots of variety to choose from. I always wait for the sale season because it is quite expensive to buy at full price. I have purchased essence for the house, clothes, backpacks, sneakers perfumes and sunglasses and no regrets! Well organized and friendly staff

If you find yourself in Florence, it is worth visiting the department store located in the center and enjoying a coffee or food at the bar on the top floor. It has umbrellas for the sun and a beautiful view.

This review is for the shop. The displays are beautiful, and I return often regardless because it’s the only shop in Florence that has a lot of items I need. However, in most departments the staff can’t be bothered with you.

This place has a lot of everything. All the important brands are here and sometime different things than the main independent stores. Great place to shop.

It was raining so we couldn’t go to the rooftop. No one’s fault. We sat in the coffee area on the 4th floor. We found a waitress who was making racist unpleasant remarks to her colleagues, thinking we wouldn’t understand Italian, but we do. We had a group of children with us, when we tried to order a hot chocolate we were told “we are not a school or a playground, we don’t serve things for children”. Also, no willingness to try to sit us together. The rudeness was so shocking we decided to leave. Many better places in Florence to eat and drink and shop.

The Worst after sales service! Haven’t received a reply in a month since I contacted them! Definitely not buying again from Rinascente!

Bad shopping experience they’ve sold a Used Dior sunglasses for 500 Euros and then I came back to store they offered discounts and samples…. I will never shop from this stor again

the view is nice but the service is disturbingly bad!! Not polite, being sassy to the costumers - do not go there!!!

View is beautiful and the food & drinks are nice. But the service is pretty slow, I had to wait to be seated 10 minutes for then the terrace to be almost empty. For +10% I expected better.
