Perche No! was on our gelato tour while we were in Italy and was recommended by our tour guide. Certainly we went at the beginning of the tourist season so the store was not busy and we were served by two lovely older women who have is a beautiful serving of gelato (salted caramel and stratiatella). Beautiful, slender store with good gelato (not the best) during our visit to Florence.

Visited this gelato shop based on the high ratings and reviews online. Naturally we had very high expectations. Got the cone with 3 flavours: (1) lavender (2) pistachio (3) crema Ice cream was creamy and smooth. Overall all three flavours were good, not fantastic. Prices were on the higher side. There were other cheaper and better gelato shops in Florence.

So nice, I came here three times while in Florence, including as a celebration, right after getting engaged. I liked that the vegan flavours changed every day for the most part because I meant that I wasn’t getting bored - good flavours, good range, quality ingredients.

Artigianale gelato, yes yes yes!! Perche no, let’s take this to the next level! It’s the delicious artisan gelato of Florence. Yummy and great, this creamy gelato is a real one. Dive into a creamy bonanza! Jackie had chunky coffee and nutty chocolate. For all my followers, here is a special tip: look out for gelato height! If the cream rises above the metal tin, then it will not be cold enough for amazing texture. But do you know? Of the name of this gelato, Perche no!…? It means why not, so why not give it a try! Jackie will see you again!

So many gelato places in Florence but this one was recommended by a few YouTubers. It's definitely good and it's one where you can have cake and gelato in the same cup. The tiramisu cake with the coffee crunch in a cup was outstanding. I would have given this 5 stars but it was expensive compared to Gelataria dei Neri.

Best Gelato for me in Firenze. Pistachio was almost soldout so they gave me that with another flavor together. I liked hier because it was not so sweet like other Gelato. Very soft and fresh!

We stopped by a few gelato spots on lists for Florence back in April 2023. This was definitely the best spot with lines that moved quickly enough. Take a look on the board outside as you should be prepared to order when you get to the counter. We stopped by twice during our brief visit.

We came here because of the good reviews. But unfortunately the flavors were just below average compared to Florence or other places in Italy we’ve lived. €6 for two small scoops on a cone. You can pay half the price for twice the flavor if you just step outside of the tourist area.

A gelato a day keeps a flat butt away…! I love the variety of flavors here. A surprise favorite was the Concord grape, which is not have chosen if the lovely woman working there hadn’t recommended it. Gorgeous color, too. I always love lavender with some form of chocolate or coffee flavor, and I’d eat the mascarpone one with anything. The mascarpone flavor might taste good next to a foot for all I care. The classics (nocciola, pistachio, etc.) are also good, but why not try something more interesting?

This place is delicious! I got pistachio and milk with honey and toasted sesame seeds☺️ They also added extra chocolate and black cherries to my husband's gelato, it was amazing! Would highly recommend.

The best gelato place I have tried in Italy! I had the egg nog flavor and OMG so good! They change their flavors daily so when I went back the next day they didn’t have it but I tried their lemon and it was amazing too!

Very good flavors. Super busy though because of that. They accomodate for gluten free by changing their ice cream scoops and taking from fresh parts as almost all flavors gluten free except ones with cookies in it. The servers seem to always be there and working from morning until night. They must be exhausted. Thank you for taking care of all us. Always puts a smile on my face when I eat one of their flavors.

One of our favorite gelato shops in Florence! They use high quality ingredients and always have a rotating list of excellent flavors. Prices are super affordable - definitely recommend!

Having seen many good reputations, I went there before 7 a.m. There was only the space to have two chairs inside, but the shop was clean and lovely. I ordered permission and lavender, which I rarely see at other gelaterias. They were smooth and light rather than sticky.

What an amazing ice cream, delicious flavors. My favorite (sesame and honey 🍯) If you are in Florence you have to try it.

Honestly the best gelato I've ever had. I tried Watermelon, Cantaloupe, and Peach. I loved Watermelon and Cantaloupe so much, I even went back for the same flavors later in the day!

I have just had the best gelato of my life at this unassuming little gelateria this evening. The seasonal milk with honey and sesame seeds flavour was especially a highlight. Serving is by cup size rather than number of scoops from what I could gather. This was great as I was able to try a couple of flavours with just the smallest serving size of €3.

Gorgeous ice cream at reasonable prices, it was €3.50 for two small scoops in a tub. Lots of flavour choice we had the salted caramel and Choc chip which was great. Not much seating but not far are some nice spots.

Absolutely THE BEST Gelato I have ever had. In the US good ice cream places are rare to find, the biggest issue I have is the level of sweetness, everything in the IS is just TOOO sweet. In Europe things are much less sweet overall but this place is just perfect. The Gelato is made daily fresh, so a lot of the flavors you can’t get 2 days in a row. Everything is just delicious and delightful that you can not get enough. When I usually eat ice cream even at other most of the gelato places, I leave feeling heavy and not satisfied, regenerating why I had some and I usually can’t finish a small order on my own. I don’t have that problem here. After eating my ice cream I leave feeling great and wanting more. 10 out of 5 for Gelato 4 for for service. 4 for location and ambiance If you ever visit Florence this place is must have, you will not regret it.

Tried gelato for the first time in Italy. Stopped by this place based on a recommendation. It has been in business since 1939. Had the chocolate and vanilla flavors. So creamy and delicious. Friendly service!

👍👍 What can I say it’s the best Gelato you can ever try in Italy. I don’t usually go for popular chains and brands but this place is really really good and is up to its reputation. There is usually a line for the gelato, every flavor you chose will be very unique as if it’s the house’s special flavor....

😠 SCAM! I felt robbed buying an ice cream in this Gelateria. They have different prices in the top of the wall and they serve you 15 Euros 2 flavour ice cream without telling the price until you go to the cashier with ice cream in your hands to pay. The taste of ice cream is watery, no flavour in addi...
