A very SAD and TRAGIC place. Most of the plants look dead or barely alive. Greenhouses look like a cement factory with a few plants. Price is 6 euros per person which is a SCAM for a place that looks like no one took care for half a year. Definitely do NOT RECOMMEND.

We love things like this but this one definitely puts its best foot forward. If you walk by it, it looks beautiful, if you pay the entry fee to get inside, not so worth it. There are a lot of dead plants and empty spaces and you are not allowed into the greenhouses, but worse than that is the fact that there are things labeled that are very incorrect for instance, the citrus tree area is actually palm trees. I wouldn't recommend this place.

For 3 bucks entrance you'll get to stroll different cold and hot glas 🏠, and different sections such as palm and monumental 🌲, 🍋 trees flowers and rare 🌹 and medical plants from all over the world. A beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the sun next to a nice fountain. Absolutely worth it.

In October this place looks a little barren. The best part is lots of different interesting trees. It is just not very beautiful like you imagine a botanical garden to be. One plus, the bathrooms are clean and nice. For six euros it’s worth it even just to come and stroll around to get away from the crowds and the noise.

A silent place not far from the heart of Florence) This botanical garden is small but you feel calm and relaxed here. Enjoy your time observing alleys with giant trees, funny palms and wonderful colourful azalea bushes. There are zones for a quiet walk and reading. Some zones look long neglected but there is an amazing greenhouse which gives you a lot of pleasure even if you visit it in November or December) Fantastic citrus trees in this botanical garden are my love. If you decide to visit Florence in late autumn, you will see ripe fruits on orange, lemon and tangerine trees. One significant detail needs to be mentioned. A botanical garden has a quite strange closing time. It's too early for me. That's why it's important to ask beforehand. Moreover, the local government charged an entrance fee for visitors. Anyway, a botanical garden can help you to relax and get distracted from your thoughts.

A nice place to rest after visiting the city. The garden is not very big, not all parts of the garden are well-kept. But those who like flowers and plants will find something interesting.

My favourite out of the box Florence place! Check out properly for opening times, sometimes it’s tricky. Great value for money and great plants to see plus is quiete compared to other parts of Florence. Just sit and relax

A variety of huge old growth trees, tips for growing vegetables and a water garden. Friendly staff members stored our luggage for us so we could walk unencumbered.

What a hidden gem! This place is obviously being kept in great shape on a shoestring budget by passionate people. It has a historic and diverse collection, with lovely trails that get you out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Che bello! A nice place to take a rest from the street-life in the heart of Florence. It doesn't seem to be to artificial, so you'll find young plants, old ones, living and starving ones. A lovely arrangement and calm place. Vielen Dank für die schönen Momente bei Euch!

I was overwhelmed by this place. So many beautiful and exotic plants, and all are taken care of. Some of them are really huge! You can also smell lots of different herbs and plant extracts. So glad we visited the garden. Can fully recommend. But please, dear gardeners, give the little philodendron in the tropical house some love, it looked kind of sad :) I also thought the fish could use a cleaner aquarium...

Very nice and relaxing place and overall interesting but i think you need to visit in a special time period, like in spring, to get the most out of the experience, we visited in late summer and there wasn't much to see, also the hot and cold greenhouses aren't in function.

Garden is kept in very poor condition. Don't think anyone has done any weeding for years. Can't believe I spent 6 euros. Most plants look dehydrated and unwell. Some of the trees are old and beautiful so it's a shame the rest is so ill kept

A lot of sad plants, probably would have been better in may. I can't believe they charge 6 euros for what's basically a park. Would have been worth 3. Several signs were for plants that weren't there, and a lot of them were very faded, and hard to read.

Fee too high for a garden that is just nit very large or particularly nice to look at... disappointing.... realize its not designed based on aesthetics but really notca lot to offer, maybe it is nicer in spring but late June it looked ... well... dead 😔

A quiet and nice garden with interesting greenhouses. In late March however there wasn’t much there besides a few flowers, which doesn’t quite justify the full price of 6€ (even for students!!) per person. There was barrier rope all over the place. The flowers were nice and there was even a cat!

Lovely space in central Florence, with beautiful trees, paths and lots of information about the plants. I especially liked the section about medicinal plants. It is not elaborate or tourist-y. No cafe, but I am sure you could bring your panini and eat here. Quiet and safe. Self guided for sure: I didn’t see any tour guides. Discount for over 65 was great.

Lovely and relaxing. Not a "touristy" attraction with fancy gardens, just a simple and natural park for plant lovers.

Pretty garden, I went after getting the joined ticket with the museums. I'd go again in summer went more flowers are out.

a peaceful moment in the city’s frenzy. great place but a bit neglected. could have been amazing due to its variety, location and history.

Garden is poorly maintained, entry fee is 6€ for what looks more like a public parc, not a botanical garden. It’s quite calm which helps if you want to take a nap.

Great place to take a kid who needs to run around, giant gorgeous Monstera inside the greenhouse. Shady trees, very pleasant on a hot day

This is a beautiful and blessedly peaceful place in a city seething with tourists looking at things of former years. In this garden there is life and work that will enable us to have a future. But it is clear that it is desperately under resourced and under appreciated. May God bless and provide funding for those who care for it.
