😠 BEWARE OF FINES IF YOU PARK HERE There's no way to avoid the fine unless you have a permit to drive in the restricted traffic area (ZTL). The local police will charge you with 60-80 Euro. The entrance to the parking is not in ZTL, but the exit is. (piazza Torquato Tasso). So there's no way to get ar... People often mention parking, hour, euro, city, spaces,

The parking is not extremely big and many places are reserved for locals so you may not find a place (and you will have to pay on exit...) but it is 20 minutes away on foot from Piazza Signoria and it is rather difficult to park any nearer. Contrary to some opinions expressed here the exit is OUTSIDE the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) - the entrance to the zone is some 30 metres to the right and it is clearly marked (obviously in Italian so when you see ZTL in any Italian city just don't drive there) so just turn left and you're safe. The price is actually cheaper than street parking on the other side of the medieval wall. The city charges 2 euro for the first hour and 3 euro for each successive hour so six hours there cost 17 euro instead of 13 in this parking. Florence is not a car friendly place in general, it is better to bear this in mind when planning a trip there!

Parking near Boboli Gardens at 2€ per hour. Unfortunately the parking spaces are very narrow and some of them are private, so someone bumped our rental car and just drove off. Not looking forward to paying for the damage that could have been avoided if the spaces had been just a bit bigger.

My car window got smashed and there is no insurance from the company to cover my losses. It's not a safe parking be careful ! It's like parking your car in any street of an Italian city ...I had to pay for the parking to take my car away 😑

Google maps has this in the wrong location. Where this is marked is a pay lot that many peddlers will try and get you to pay. Go around the round about, through the Porta Romano and you will see the parking on the left side, just inside the Porta Romano. Very secure, many spaces and 2 euro an hour. We walked back here around 11pm and felt safe.

Normal, uncovered parking. It’s all in a very long line so make sure to not just take the first spot you see (especially if the lot says there are 40+ spaces available), or you’ll be walking for 10 minutes just to get out. Some spaces reserved for residents, they have barriers up so you can screw it up. Outside of the ZTL, just don’t turn right out of the gates and you’ll be fine

Window was smashed and luggage stolen. Extremely dangerous parking here, especially at night. They offer no help or assistance.

Don't like this parking lot. The price is okay with 2€ per hour. It wrongly charged us 3 times for the toilet, however, and the paid ticket did not open the gate. Additionally, there only is a ticket machine at which you can pay on the side where you leave the parking lot, not where you enter, and it's quite a long way.

Nice parking: good location, toilet, can pay by card. One star because was charged 25 euro for two hours. Did not get the point....

15-20minutes from old town and near Palazzo Pitti. 2 euro per hour and very reasonable for Florence. You will see some reserved parking places for residents, however there is lots of free places to park. If you do not want to enter the city center, this parking spot is very good option.

Great parking, very easy accessible by car, especially if you are coming south of Florence. You just drive through Porta Romana, make a U-turn around the other parking spaces and drive through the barrel. Price was 2€ for the first hour, after that €1 for each half hour. You can pay by card. Seems a very safe parking. From here, you can walk through a lovely neighborhood and will reach the centre in 15min walking. On your way back, you can have an gelato as you walk to your car :-)

Paid about 2 Euro for an hour of parking, and a month later got a 60 Euro fine + 60 Euro for administrative expenses by the car rental service. So, in total 122 Euro for an hour of parking. Now I see a few people mention that ZTL issue in the reviews as well.

Horrible parking place. Yelling staf personnel and toilet did not work but was charged anyway. Very narrow parking places. We don't recommend this one at all.

😠 Turns out they didn’t register my car for the ZTL and so I got fined several months later. I contacted them about it. They promised me they would handle it, but then never contacted me back.
