Came here for lunch. I ordered the eggplant Parm instead as I didn't want more pasta noodles. The eggplant itself was cooked well; however, the sauce was very sweet (think more like ketchup instead of marinara sauce) which, in Italy, is just unacceptable in my opinion. Next time, I would read the reviews more carefully before ordering. I do want to support this restaurant as there are so few vegan restaurants in Florence. Hopefully, the management will improve that sauce used in the near future. Should have gotten the lasagna because that's what everyone else seems to be raving about.

First we were excited to find a vegan restaurant near our hotel but omg🤦🏼‍♀️ the food was terrible. Despite we were starving, I couldn't touch my food. I know some Italian pasta is a bit solid but this one was raw! Its very sad that a vegan restaurant could be that much unsatisfying. Hope they improve their quality and taste of their food. Ps: it has lovely decorations and great books. I loved its decorations and their choice.

It took the only waiter (the owner of the restaurant) 15 minutes to notice us and give us menus. It took another *!!!hour!!!* until our food came. And to add to the insult - costumers that arrived to the restaurant way after us got food before us, and empty tables were cleaned before our self-made pile of dirty plates was removed from our table. When the food finally arrived we were too angry and disappointed to really enjoy it, and the experience as a whole was just bad. A few tips for the owner: - it’s better to pay an extra cook/waiter than to have costumers leave the restaurant after being completely ignored (few did). - Don’t prioritise costumers above others UNLESS based on arrival times. - Have the waiter apologise when there’s a 1 hour hold. Maybe serve a snack or a desert on the house. - Clean occupied tables before empty ones. - Hire professional waiters that know the job.

They will warn you if something is not 100% safe for celiac which is nice because then you can decide for yourself - not everywhere is as honest as this! They have GF beer which is different from the norm - its always nice to try something new. They have a dog friendly area. I prefer vegan meals when out and thankfully I managed to convinced my family to eat here for dinner! All dishes except one were delicious! Flavourful and lots of ingredients. My mother really enjoyed the soup, the lasagne was good too. The dish that is not that satisfying is the eggplant dish (in pic) which turned out to be really really salty! I picked this dish and had to eat together with a lot of salad leaves (I took from my family too) to make it more bearable to eat. That said, I will definitely come back again, which I did for desserts on our last day in Florence! The tiramisu is really good, we also tried the blueberry the other day and we still prefer the tiramisu over that!
