We got off the T2 tram and found this GF-friendly restaurant nearby. The draw was the beautiful courtyard and the high Google rating. We arrived before the Italian lunch hour rush and enjoyed the “bread bag” and drinks before our food arrived. Our dishes ranged from a 3-4.5 star rating. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere could not be beat with a garden courtyard and a mix of shade and sun.

WOW!!! My family if 4… even my very picky teens who think gluten free is not worthy of trying…. All LOVED LOVED this meal. Highlights… To start.. the place is gorgeous and eclectic The waiter (I think manager) illy was just over the top amazing… from his greeting to serving and everything in between… this was worthy of 5 stars. Insanely attentive Beyond friendly He made the experience wonderful even before the food. Incredible gnocchi Fries, some bean app, the artichoke parm HOLY COW! I don’t understand why this place has 4.4 bc it’s worthy of WAY MORE. You do NOT have to be GF for this place. Thanks Illy!!!! You made our night!

Really nice restaurant, tasty food and lovely atmosphere in the heart of Florence. The waiter however should be more kind and helpful, at some point I am pretty sure he said something not very nice about us knowing that we didn't understand italian...

You must go!!! Stumbled upon this place near our hotel in center city Florence. The name and unique menu caught our eye. It’s a gluten free and vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant with a lovely ambiance. Our server, Illy, made us feel welcome, gave his honest opinion on the menu, and took the time to explain everything to us. Not to mention, he was very personable. The food was even better than the service - we got the pad Thai, vegan burger, lentil patties, and Sefardita for dessert, all of which were recommended by Illy. Each bite was better than the next! Highly recommend especially if you want something a little different than Italian food.

Heaven! Definitely the best food we have had in Italy so far. Had the lentil burger and a tiramisu - which was divine and really different! Very different and almost soft but raw flavours and just what we have been looking for (tastes like real food!)😊We had been despairing of finding good food until this place - seems everything is just watered down and bland for the tourists everywhere else. Compliments to the chef/s and highly recommend!

I got the vegan burger and really enjoyed it. It is a bit more pricy than other places but the location is central and stunning

We had a quick lunch. The food was tasty, made with good quality ingredients. We sat outside in the courtyard. It was nice and peaceful, there was a light breeze and shade. The service was attentive, fast, very welcoming. I can recommend to everyone who wants to get away from the tourist packed noisy streets of Firenze.

Yes the location is unbeatable, you leave behind the noise and crowd of the city and can relax in a really cool courtyard. Now: we only had coffee and a cake (both ok, nothing special) in the afternoon, so no idea about the food. Unfortunately there a few things that are a sore thumb: - those red metallic chairs might be the most uncomfortable chairs ever - the courtyard is technically outdoor so people can smoke (and yes they do), it ruins the experience and the branding behind the ZAP, which translates as Protected Aromatic Zone. - tue bathrooms (actually the bathroom, singular): it takes a solid 3 min to get there since it’s on the second floor, you can’t lock it because the whole door is unhinged, and… there is only 1 bathroom for a place that can seat around 100 people! Crazy

What a find!! It's so hard to find fantastic GLUTEN FREE dining. This restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious, the setting in the courtyard was so beautiful, and the staff were also fantastic. Grazie Mille 🥰 only one thing negative to add - this restaurant isn't in Switzerland 🤦🏼‍♀️😉

The hand made gluten free pasta was absolutely delicious and the courtyard dining is beautiful. I had the gnocchi and pesto pasta and was full and very happy. However, the wait staff seemed to forget we existed, we were brought olive oil, salt and balsamic after we’d already finished our bread, and only received bread plates when they saw me struggling to figure out how to eat everything without added plates.

Absolutely delicious gluten free food! We totally adored the pennette a ragu and greca salade (pictured). We went to the Quinoa sister restaurant L’OV (Osteria Vegeteriana) twice in our 3 days in Florence as it was so good and came to Quinoa on our last day. The gluten free food tastes normal and is delicious and the service is spectacular. We had the sweetest waitress, very attentive and smiley, she turned the AC towards us and gave food recommendations. Really recommend the gluten free beer Theresianer too!

Quinoa is such a gem! Found it on TikTok and put it on my list immediately, and don’t regret it- it didn’t disappoint! The atmosphere is so nice - candles on the table making it really romantic and lovely, the design is also interesting and cool, but most importantly the food is great! It’s all gluten free and very very delicious. We had gnocchi, risotto, pad Thai and a quinoa plate with different veggies. Everything was very tasty! They also brought us some bread that they’re making in the restaurant and it was the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had- so crispy on the outside and super soft inside - we loved it! The service was great and the staff very friendly! The only thing I didn’t like was that the toilet was on the 2nd floor so a bit inconvenient but there’s a lift and stairs so not a big deal,I just think it would have been better if it was on the same floor. I’d really recommend this place- it’s so worth it!

My favorite place to eat in Florence! I absolutely loved every meal I had here. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to Florence.

100% gluten free and the food is delicious. I’ve been here before and come whenever I’m in town. Service was a bit slow today. The menu changes daily so be sure to get the offerings when you visit vs relying on the online menu. My meal is chicken pieces, potato wedges with housemade tartar sauce that was delicious.

Quite literally the most delicious gluten free food I have ever had. So nice to finally have GF options on vacation. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and wine All their foods are gluten free, so no fear of cross contamination. No difference in taste from the gluten versions. The outer room is decorated with plants and looks very soothing. We had bread, pasta and Tuscan beef.

The best food I have eaten in Italy. I went twice in one day because the food was amazing and the service was great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone especially those who are vegan. Lots of vegan options and the food is flavorful.

Excellent food and excellent service (despite being very busy for Wednesday lunch and only having three servers). Would recommend even if you don't need gluten free or vegan/vegetarian options.

Fantastic meal & service from the team at Quinoa. My wife is a coeliac and being able to choose anything from a full delicious gluten free menu was such a treat rather than just being able to choose what she could have. Tip: worth booking in advance!

Everything is gluten free. Steak & meats are cooked to your preference‌. Diverse & uncomplicated menu. Service was excellent. Busy & would highly recommend reservations.

We went here for lunch on the day we were leaving Florence, it had been closed for holiday but really wanted to try it. It was packed, so you knew it would be good. A nice healthy salad was welcomed at this point. It was very enjoyable, and all their dishes are 100% gluten free. They have seating inside or out, but they were really busy so we were lucky to get a table anywhere.

Had a fantastic dinner here- good food, friendly service, tranquil setting, even coloring books for the kids while we waited. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic gluten free restaurant. It's a relief to not have to worry about cross contamination and to be served delicious food. Great variety and English is available. Toilets are accessible for all but they are on the 2nd floor (there is a lift). Service was super quick and friendly but I'd recommend a reservation during busy periods as they were fully booked when we went. There are vegan options available (e.g. vegan burger).

So delicious! Very friendly wait staff were super accommodating to our seven month old, who had a ball. Kid friendly and celiac’s dream in Firenze

Ristorante Quinoa is amazing, I highly recommend it for all gluten free visitors! This was not only my favorite meal in Florence, it was also my husband's favorite meal (who is NOT gluten free). We had the white bean dip with bread as an appetizer, the ravioli, and the stuffed veal. We sat outside, which felt so private, welcoming, and calm despite being so close to a lot of the main tourist hot spots. I wish we had gone back a second time before we left Florence!

So happy to find a 100% gluten free (senza glutine) restaurant in Florence! My boyfriend stated it's the "Best burger I've ever had - not just gluten free", says the burger was seasoned very well. As someone who often has beetroot spaghetti at home, getting a beetroot risotto was a nice twist on my usual palette. Was far too much for me to finish personally, but not for lack of trying! Service was speedy but friendly and we would both happily return again.

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
