We
were
told
how
good
Florentine
steak
was
and
that
we
had
to
try
it
in
Florence.
I’m
so
glad
this
was
the
place
we
decided
to
make
that
happen.
Borderline
Firenze
is
such
a
welcoming
place.
Tall
ceilings
and
elegant
table
settings
really
made
it
quite
romantic.
The
staff
were
great,
very
welcoming
and
attentive.
They
also
looked
like
they
were
having
fun
which
always
makes
me
happy
to
see.
We
started
with
a
bottle
of
wine
and
the
‘Tartare
di
Salmone
con
Avocado,
Lime
e
Sesamo
Nero’.
It
was
incredibly
fresh
and
flavourful.
Everything
paired
so
perfectly
together.
The
salmon,
avocado,
sesame,
and
lime….
I
feel
like
this
is
the
only
way
I
want
to
eat
salmon
for
the
rest
of
my
life.
I
had
the
‘Tagliata
di
Controfiletto
di
Manzo
con
Misticanza
e
Riduzione
di
Aceto
Balsamico’.
Mouthwatering.
Tender.
Cooked
to
absolute
perfection
it
felt
like
a
privilege
to
eat
it.
Trevor
had
the
‘Tomahawk
alla
Brace
con
Patate
al
Forno’.
He
said,
multiple
times,
that
it
was
the
best
steak
he’s
ever
had.
Once
he
tried
the
potatoes
he
said
the
same
thing,
best
potatoes
he’s
ever
had.
Overall,
if
you’re
picking
up
what
he’s
putting
down,
the
best
meal
he’s
ever
had!
What
a
luscious
dish.
It
definitely
met
and
surpassed
Trevor’s
expectations.
I
tried
a
piece
and
it
really
was
next
level
flavourful,
but
I
struggle
with
the
rare
meat
(I
was
a
veggie
for
13
years).
Trevor
was
SO
full.
Have
a
look
at
the
before
and
after
photos.
We
went
to
bed
after
walking
a
very
slow
15
minute
walk
back
to
the
hotel.
Needless
to
say,
wow.
From
start
to
finish
this
meal,
and
the
whole
experience,
was
utter
perfection.
Is
it
the
cheapest
meal
you’ll
ever
eat?
No.
Is
it
reasonable
based
on
the
overall
quality
of
the
food
and
top
notch
service?
Yes.
If
you’re
in
Florence
don’t
miss
out
on
Borderline
Firenze.
We
sat
for
just
over
3
hours
and
loved
every
second
of
it.
They
also
give
you
Limoncello
🍋
at
the
end
of
the
meal.
Normally
it
is
just
a
shot,
our
waiter
gave
us
the
whole
bottle……
