Absolutely outstanding food and service! Please go out of your way to eat here if you are craving Indian food. We ordered a lamb curry which was unbelievably tender and a flavourful chicken curry. Really appreciate how the manager gave us a bottle of mango liqueur on the house to try after our meal. Whatever you order, it will be good. Ask for the chef recommendations if you are not sure.

I tried north indian food in this restaurant and it was very tasty. I tried many indian restaurants in Europe. But, by far, I would rate the Royal India restaurant at Florence to be at the top. Unlike other indian restaurants in Europe, here, you will get authentic taste just like india. You won't miss the spicy taste of indian dishes. The service was also very good. The service guy named Dev was really polite and well behaved. Moreover, he offered me a complementary Mango Lassi which was very delicious. I hope to visit there again when I will again fly to Florence.

I visited this restaurant twice this week during my Italy trip from Germany. I must say this is best Indian restaurant. Food taste, quality and hospitality is authentic. Service is nice and variety of menus is remarkable. I recommend to definitely visit this restaurant. 😀😀

Its a small restaurant at a very good place with all the visiting places nearby. If you are looking for indian food in Florence, this is one of the authentic indian restaurants. Food service is swift and good. Hyderabadi biryani was good.

Both me and my boyfriend are from London and LOVE Indian food (I’m also Asian) and we would HIGHLY recommend Royal India. The base for the curries is just delicious!! So flavoursome and so much better than the majority of the places that you get in the UK. You can tell it’s been slow cooked for hours. I ordered the paneer do pyaza and the paneer is freshly made in house...you can taste the difference!! My boyfriend ordered the butter chicken curry and the chicken was so tender and again the flavour of the curry was incredible. Both dishes were outstanding!! Unfortunately we’re back in the UK know we won’t be able to have those curries unless we go back!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. If you’re sick of Italian food and want authentic Indian food, you MUST try this place! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is quick!.Excellent Service.Highly Recommended

Kiran and Bilal were so attentive. From the moment we walked in they were very welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. It was our first first night here in Florence and they made it a wonderful experience. The food was incredible, they gave us some taste tasters which was a bonus. Nothing was too much trouble. It was late and they served us with a smile and had a couple of a laughed. I could not be happier with the food that was served. They went above and beyond to make the perfect dish. Extremely good Indian food. Super nice people, they give you an extra mango lassi for free if you order with another person. Kamal was our server and she made sure everything was perfect. I will go back here very soon.

This place had amazing food and amazing service!!! Our waiter was very sweet and patient. It was my first time trying Indian food and our waiter explained the whole menu and even brought us out small samples to try. After our meal he even gave us a list of seasonings/ingredients so we could cook indian food at home. The restaurant is also beautiful. The decor and ambience is so unique. The waiter noticed my food was very spicy for my preference and offered to take it back and give me something mild. Definitely give this place a visit.

This place is one of the BEST restaurants in Florence. We stumbled across it, decided to try it and then ate there 2’more times after the first visit. If we weren’t leaving Florence, there would be more visits here. Staff is great.. friendly and attentive.. great dish suggestions and warm welcomes. Food is delicious… probably one of the best Indian places we have had ever. Definitely coming back next time we are in Florence!

This place has it all. It is by far the best indian food i have ever tried. Currys are bien, seasoned, and contain around 20 spices. There are plenty of vegetarian and meat options. Everything is delicious and prepared with love. They have no poblem in changong your dish if it is too spicy. This is what me and my gf got for 44 euros: Chicken curry Fresh cheese curry Rice with vegetables big portion for two White rice Chilly spicy garlic bread 1 lt water Snack with 3 sauces to try 2 little glasses of yogurth smoothy Hats off to Dave and the manager for a loving reception. I came here four years ago and came back again. Great food as I remember. The place was cute and the staff were very nice. We were given a shot of lychee juice even though we didn’t order any dessert. Would definitely come back!

This is not only some of the best Indian food in Florence, but it is some of the best food in the city period. And honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. An absolutely life-changing delicious meal combined with excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. I cannot recommend this spot enough. If you’re visiting Florence, this is a must go to restaurant. 5/5 across the board and I can’t wait to come again next time I’m in the area!

I wanted something with less masala, as I adjusted to French/Italian cuisine during my two weeks trip to France and Italy. They served aloo gobhi. It was perfect. Very customer friendly. Unfortunately, I forgot their names. Then I thought I’ll take Wine Prosecco, but they didn’t have that. They offered some alternate and didn’t even bill, when I pointed out, they said it’s on them.. You really feel happy when you see anything related to our country 🇮🇳

Everything from chutneys to the food was amazing. Spectacular taste , everyone should definitely try the food here, indians or foreigners, both.

As a study abroad student, sometimes all you want is a little taste of home. I walked in and immediately felt comfortable. The food here is insanely good and the staff was so kind. They even gave me some pointers on my Italian! Overall, I recommend and will definitely be going back frequently. Order on Glovo too! The portions are super good for delivery.
