Perfect for quick lunch pasta

The pay-per-item buffet lunch here was really nice. You can get a moderate-sized pasta dish for €5 or a main meat etc. dish for €6. The penne, baked chicken breast, and especially risotto were all nice. It's seat yourself and the place gets quite busy at lunchtime with locals but the staff were still quite friendly dealing in English.

The best place for lunch in all of Florence. Anyone who is authentic and eats mass tourism authentic Italian cuisine at incredibly fair prices (the wine with the meal cost just €1.50 a glass). The bar is loud and full of people (no or really very few tourists who get lost here) who go here and have lunch. There is a daily changing offer with a small but very fine selection. The people who work here are all friendly and super nice. We specifically walked here (about 20 minutes to the city center) but as always it was worth it. I remember the Bar d'Azelio from my childhood and it more than lived up to the memory. I'll definitely come back.
