Indian guy is Very rude. He is not qualified to work there. He blocked me from using toilet even though I had right to use toilet cause I bought beverages. So I protested about that. And he threatened me not to say anything. Just only bad experience in firenze.

The waiters in this restaurant were very racist. I bought ice cream and wanted to sit down for a while, when I was sure there were many free tables. He forbade me to sit down and told me to leave immediately. However, I saw a white person at the table next to me who had also bought ice cream and sat down and was not kicked out. This kind of racist behaviour made me feel very bad about the restaurant.

12 euros for 2 cokes here. i guess the cost is for the seating, right in front of the great church. if you think of buying something in order to use the toilet here, better go elsewhere. the toilet was disgusting.

Food was ok but the price was really expensive €5 cover charge a person or came to €50 euro for 2 mains and 2 drinks. The service is really friendly and the view is amazing and that is what your paying for.

Not sure why the reviews are so bad here. Got the Tiramusi, pistachio pastrie, and coffee and they were all delicious. Honestly the Tiramusi was one of the best one I've had yet. I wasn't over charged or insulted. I would definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely terrible experience with the waiter. He started shouting. Didn’t know you can’t sit when you order for take out. Asked him to talk politely but he refused. When I left the place, he started shouting loudly saying Thank you in an insulting manner, no of times and from a distance. Rest of the people working inside were kind, nice and even apologized for that waiter’s behaviour.

I don't know how other people can complain, I believe that sometimes it's the patron that creates a negative experience. I was treated so well that I came back three times. The wait staff were kind and helpful, the coffee was superb and the croissants delicious. And the view, breathtaking breakfast spot. Thank you from Canada for a wonderful experience 😊

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I came here with my wife for some aperol spritz's. Considering we are right next to the Duomo, we were expecting to pay around 14 Euro for drink but it was only 9 euro. Beautiful location to sit, the drinks were great and the host was friendly and accommodating. And we got some free chips!

Needed a place to sit and relax for a few minutes and found this bar facing the Duomo. We ordered 2 of the €9 Negroni which were fantastic. Served with complimentary potato chips. Service was friendly and fast. I read the other negative reviews, I’m glad we stopped on a good day. We enjoyed it! No complaints here.

Prices are not displayed, not so good cappuccino was €4. Sandwiches were okay, €6 each. The view is great of course but you can find a place nearby with better food and coffee.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat after seeing their sign for the food which was well priced and looked decent. I ordered the lasagna but unfortunately when it came it came in a bowl that was literally piping hot so I guessed immediately it had just been microwaved. I checked the middle of the lasagna with a fork and sure enough, it was stone cold, while the outsides were hot. The microwave hadn't even heated the lasagna fully through, so parts of it were extremely hot while others completely cold. If you were just coming for just a drink this place would be fine, but don't try the food. It's just what you'd get in the supermarket but double the price

I chose the $4 cup of gelato option. I ended with two tiny ice-cream scoops (not sure we can call that gelato) not even filling the cup. Where others pack the cups with a spatula, they use a regular half-sphere ice-cream scoop/spoon. And their products taste like something you can get from a grocery store. Nothing special. But they charge the same price as renown gelateria around. Now I understand why their store was empty. Their prime location makes it a tourist trap. Don't bother, just go a few streets away and get a real gelato.

Don't drink or eat here unless you have more money than sense. Morretti and Spritz 19euro!

Omg such pathetic experience. The waiter was sooooooo rude it made me almost cry. He shouted at us so badly because we used the restroom first and we took few seconds to decide the drink. He yelled at us that you have to buy something to use washroom. Obviously we knew it and we were just deciding on the drink but he yelled at us so badly thinking we are foreigners or what Idk but I would never go here.

Very expensive, once you place order you wont see menu again, they bring you things you didnt order (by mistake 😉),the experience not worth the money. We had good, fresh pineapple there that we paid 7€ for and 2 drinkable americanos (3,5 each). On the menu no photos so unless you know Italian you cant be sure what you order.

Seating was available under the sun and in the shade. The staff were all very please t and spoke English. The view, of course, was beautiful!

Really bad experience, we were just watching the menu for one minute and the waiter was so rude and he said to us twice sit down or leave. Of course we left, there are so many better places around the cathedral.

Sat down to enjoy the view almost left without paying. Ordered two coffees which were like water and milk and waiter was rude when we said we needed some more time with the menu. Coffee was unforgivably bad

We have been in Florence for three days and have come every day! The best spot in Florence to grab a drink and people watch with an amazing view of il duomo (order the limoncello sprits!!) Manuel the owner is an amazing! Let him know that you read this review and that Exposito family sent you ! Thank you Manuel for amazing service and experience! We will definitely come back!

Worst place ever in the whole Italy. The staff is rude and snobbish. The Indian guy is literally not qualified for this job. if you are treating customers like this, you do not deserve to have a living in such a nice city!
