Best Bistecca alla Fiorentina, really tasty and really local. We were 8 people in our group, and even the 3 kids enjoyed it. Nice staff as well.

What a treasure we found ♥️ the starter plate was a delight and easily shared with more people than 2 (we were 6) so we could still all eat pasta tartuffo or the awesome sirloin/ steak. Absolut recommendation! You should make a reservation.

We came by this restaurant, searching to eat on a Saturday night, and it was worth it. Great atmosphere and good staff. Food was great and well prepared. I recommend this restaurant 100%

Amazing pasta and great restaurant. The waiters are very nice. We got ravioli and tagliatelli ragù - what a great and unique taste. This was the best place we ate at in Firenze. It was so good that we went again and got the exact same thing, because we knew we wouldn't be able to find another place as good by randomly choosing. Go here and enjoy it!

Skip the bread, it will fill you up. Everything we had was great! Octopus appetizer in tomato sauce was amazing and Tuscan beef on tagliatelle and bacon, onion, and pecorino on spaghetti were so simple yet delightful! Would eat here again! Service was friendly and attentive. House wine was very pleasant!

One of the worst meals I have ever had especially for the price. My partner and I ordered the sirloin steak. Not only was it virtually raw but it was extremely chewy and tasteless. We ordered a side of the potatoes which were greasy and unsalted. We had very high expectations of this restaurant due to google reviews, however, do not be fooled, the food is poor, the atmosphere is dead and when we we complained, the waiter just laughed it off and proceeded to take the full price of the (very expensive meal.) Further to this, my partner experienced food poisoning and what was supposed to be a memorable final night in Florence quickly became a memorable night for the wrong reasons. Please save your money and avoid this restaurant at all costs

Had one of their specials - Tortelloni de Cernia con gamberi e agrumi. Very good! Waiting for my pear and chocolate cake dessert so it’s exciting! House wine is very good too👍🏻Quaint little local spot👍🏻

One of the restaurants that open a bit earlier for dinner as compared to the rest, so we were able to dine here at 6.30pm with a whole restaurant to ourselves. Ordered a steak and a seafood pasta and both were brilliant, sat at the window with a nice view of the street. All staff were very eager to serve. Enjoyed the experience here.

The Bistecca Fiorentina was very good but the star was surprisingly the tagliata Di pollo (chicken). It was the most tender chicken we ever tasted.

I came here for the good reviews. Unfortunately I chose the wrong dish. The staff was very friendly tho! I chose pasta with wild boar sauce, but the sauce had SO MUCH olives and I hate olives. It was more an olive sauce. They could have written that in the menu 💔 anyways I almost didn’t eat it, so I decided to go for pannacota as dessert. Honestly, that was another let down, it wasn’t bad but it was my least favorite pannacota I ever tried in Italy. I believe it was just bad luck and a wrong choice for dish, as all the reviews here are good.

This place is wonderful. The Florentine steak was huge, i.e., 1.3 kg, and it came with a side of potato (freshly cut and fried). They serve The t-bone steak cut. The fillet is not shown in this photo as they took our order wrong initially. However, they corrected that and cooked us a separate fillet. The service was amazing and the waiters were very kind and respectful. They cooked the meat to the level that we wanted and it was perfect. I highly recommend this place.

Firenze has a lot of great restaurants. But this one, we liked so much we came back twice in three days. Not a thing doesn't work. Chatty, happy, helpful staff that tries their best to accommodate your needs. Stellar food. More than honest prices. Original, slightly throwback atmosphere. Fiorentina: 9/10. Tagliata di tonno: 9/10 Calamarata rossa: 10/10 Amaro millerbe della casa: 10/10.

Great resturaunt recommended to us by the concierge at the hotel plaza luchessi. Great atmosphere was great for a date for me and my wife. The ravioli was the best I've had yet and the steak was amazing with the truffles. The baby octopus in red sauce was unbelievable as well. Had a 5 star meal that was more than enough for 2 people( I'm a big guy). What should have been 150 euro meal was 60. Highly recomend for a more than fair priced and authentic florentine meal.

While visiting Florence, I had a delightful plate of Ravioli at this bustling restaurant. It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was packed but they gave me a beautiful table even though I did not have a reservation. If you are in Florence and you want to go where the locals go to get delicious food, check out this place. A reservation is recommended.

Let me just begin by saying, any review under 5 stars is a liar, I wish Google let me leave something higher than 5 stars because Trattoria San Pierino deserves it! We came here on our first night and absolutely fell in love with the food, BEST FOOD IN ITALY!! We went to Milan, Venice, Rome, even around Florence and no one holds a candle to this place, stop dining at those tourist traps and come here. First night I had the “Polpo e seppia alla griglia con catalana di verdure” (Octopus and fish with vegetables) and second night I had the “Filetto alla griglia con patate alla ghiotta” (steak and potatoes), my wife had the “Calamarata alla San Pierino” and the “Ravioli di ricotta e limone al tonno” and even she could not contain her joy at how good the food was. I promise, it’s so worth it!! The prices are so good too, you get so much food for the price, we have been to soooo many places where you pay 15€ for a “primi piatti” and there’s barely anything on the plate, this place leave you feeling full and like you got your moneys worth. My compliments to the chef and staff, y’all are amazing! When we come back to Florence we will definitely be back!

Perfect meal for my last night in Firenze. The staff was very helpful and the owner himself helped serve us as well. Very accommodating to tourist and the ambience was fantastic. It felt like they were letting us eat in their home. The service is one of the best I’ve had in all of Europe, it was the only restaurant in two weeks of traveling that asked if we were sharing a plate and then split it into 2 plates for us. The food was incredible! The tagliatelle was fresh and from first bite you can tell it’s made from scratch in house. The Bistecca alla Florentina was also incredible. The meat was great and it can compete with steakhouses from cities like New York and Chicago. Please visit this trattoria and remember to make a reservation before arrival.

Our tour guide’s favorite place, where he takes his family to dine. The owners were delighted to hear of his recommendation and said “he prefers their meat,” and from the looks of the steaks, I can see why. We had two different types of pasta, and they were excellent.

The manager of our hotel recommended us to come here for the best steak florentine in Florence. This place did not disappoint. The food was sensational and very well priced. The staff too were so nice and helpful, this is a must visit for dining in Florence 😍

That Trattoria deserves to be experienced. Authentic Italian food with kind staff. Balance between cost & quality was according to my expectation. I recommend this nice place.

We got to dinner early and had fabulous service. The steak was out of this world and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great ambience in a small classical Florence restaurant.
