We've been here twice now in the last two weeks. Everything about it was excellent. The welcoming staff, the atmosphere and the menu. Even the background music was perfect.. highly recommended...

We had sea bass and octopus. Both dishes were excellent. The side dishes of spinach and salad were large. Wine by the glass was reasonably priced and good quality. Service was lovely. I'd highly recommend Salino; it's in a fairly quiet side street about 5 minutes from Santa Croce.

It is not worth to go for the price you pay. The wine was horrible, tasteless bread and meat was just ok. Tiramisu for dessert did not taste like coffee. The only good thing was the service!

The food was the best food I’ve had in Florence so far! We had the carpaccio, the truffle pasta, and the filet steak. The food came out perfectly. Not only that, our server Carolina made the evening all the better. If you get the opportunity I highly recommend this spot! Absolutely the best restaurant in all of Firenze. I have been to Salino about five or six times and every meal was amazing. Whether you are having a romantic dinner or enjoying a meal with friends and family, Salino is perfect for all occasions. The ambiance is elegant, the service is super friendly, the food is plated beautifully and it tastes even better. Salino is truly a gem and conveniently located just steps away from Santa Croce. 10/10
