Really cool place. The hosts are very friendly and the food is good. We also enjoyed the house wine and we would highly recommend the tiramisu. The prices are fine for a restaurant in the heart of the city.

Delicious. Don’t debate it - just eat here! We had the melon with Parma ham, and the bread salad, both of which were tasty. The carbonara with homemade pasta was AMAZING - each mouthful was delicious. The service was cheery and friendly and they were very attentive and helpful. Lovely atmosphere sitting out on the terrace on the street, a row of happy customers! Did I mention the carbonara and how delicious it was?

The individualized service provided ensures that each dish and dessert is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, leading to a tantalizing culinary experience. It would be a travesty if you neglected to sample the cheesecake. Thank you for such a good experience!

Tried the peposo and absolutely loved it. Great portions. Tender and flavorful. Definitely needed something to balance - I used their bread which was very bland (which I have come to understand is typical of Tuscan bread). My friends got the black cabbage pasta on their special menu - they found it bland. They also got the bruschetta which they enjoyed!

Open since 1844!!! This place was AMAZING- not really speaking English- but you cannot go wrong- the service was cute and FAST- and they greet you with glass of Prosecco if you make a reservation. Wow. Much better than any place in Rome!!

This place is the bomb! We were recommended to go here by a local Florentine and we're very glad we listened! Came back again!! I would recommend anything on the menu since it's authentic Italian food made and loved by locals! Relaxing atmosphere! Great food and great service! Magnifico! 👌🏻

Owner of the place was very welcoming and helped us choose from his menu. We got the prici ( fresh pasta noodles with cabbage and sausage) very yummy. And also a massive 1.5 kg Florentine steak. The owner brought one out and we asked to see a second steak so we could have options and we chose the second one. He recommended the first as it had the amount of filet he prefers but we got to choose. Very personal service and tasty food

Recommended by a local Florentine. The best spicy pasta sauce I’ve ever had. Pasta vongole was absolutely incredible. Even the bread was amazing. Love this place!!! 🍝🍷

Excellent place. The homemade lasagna was delicious, is a must. The Soup was 10 out of 10. The home made White Wine (ohhhh my God) is out of this world. Great place Dont leave before you try the panacotta, dont leave🥰🥹🥹🥹👍🥂🥰🥰🥰

The food was delicious, although suspiciously fast! I had the Spaghetti ala carbonara and a flour-free chocolate cake. Also a bit unhappy about the €2 bread charge which arrived after the pasta, so was a bit pointless 🙄 but the good was great 👍🏻

Had this place recommended by our tour guide and glad we took the advice. Really good choice for lunch at reasonable prices in comparison to other places that are more in the tourist trap areas. Friendly atmosphere and we were really well looked after. Highly recommended to get a good feed.

Excellent local and intimate trattoria. Everything we sampled was delicious and freshly made. The gnocchi were light and fluffy, the tomato sauce was tangy but not too acidic. The server did not hesitate or make a fuss when I asked to substitute spinach for the mashed potatoes with my grilled octopus. Nothing could be improved. Everything was perfect.

Stop looking for restaurants and come here! Just got home and already can't wait to come back. This is exactly the kind of experience you hope to have when you come to Italy--friendly, down-to-earth staff, cozy unassuming vibes, and beautifully crafted food. We had the wild boar pasta and mushroom fettucine this time, and both were simply wonderful. We came with our two young kids and they were welcomed warmly. All-around lovely experience.

Loved the cozy vibe and the friendly service. We were blown away by the wild boar pasta, as well as the shaved black truffle pasta. The florentine tripe was thumbs up too. We are already planning to visit for another meal before leaving Florence!

Cozy, neighbourly vibes from this nice trattoria. There seems to be many 'regulars' who knows each other well. The stewed beef and spicy tomato spaghetti was so good, we went back twice during our few days stay. It was so good that we all forgot to take any food pictures and dug in once food was served 😂 The lady owner is very friendly and prices are affordable. A must try.

Our first night in Florence we stopped here for a casual dinner. I always enjoy trying the food/drink items considered to be unique to the area or the regional specialties. This trattoria provided a great culinary introduction and we had an excellent meal. We started with the pomodoro and panzanella, both were very good. I particularly loved the pomodoro. For entrees we had the pasta with black truffles (Italy is known as having some of the best truffles in the world, particularly Tuscany) and the bistrecca alla Florentina (t-bone steak seasoned with lemon/olive oil) priced by weight. I can say nothing but great things! Also enjoyed a half liter of a homemade Chianti red wine. Remember this is a trattoria not a ristorante when writing your reviews and this place far exceeded our expectations!

Papote was delicious and Raviolli too. Great atmosphere, great attention from the waiters, fine Chianti wine from the Tuscany region... They bring Italian tradition right to your table. A 10!

Nice food. The home made gnocchi was delicious. Their own white wine was also good. Service was nice. The ambience was good.

It was a wonderful experiance , where you enjoy your food while the chef is explaining to you what you are eating. This is an old restarunt where the chef is the 4th generation working there, you will love it. I do highlly revomend it.

Incredible, authentic, not expensive. I e been twice this trip because it’s so good. I had the chicken and tuna dishes, both delicious. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem. Happened by it and it was a great pleasure. Flo, our server, was gregarious and helpful. The food and drinks were really good. A busy street next to the patio, but that's part of the charm.
