My wife and I were delighted with our stay at the San Firenze Suites & Spa in Florence. Perfectly situated a mere block from the grand Medici Palazzo Vecchio, the hotel's central location was ideal for our city adventures. Every member of the staff contributed to a warm, enjoyable, and effortless experience, ensuring our visit was nothing but pleasant. Each morning was greeted with an outstanding continental breakfast, adding to the day's delight. The rooms were a haven of comfort, enveloping us in luxury and tranquility after a day of exploration. With its elegant ambiance, attentive service, and the supreme comfort it offers, this hotel comes highly recommended. We eagerly anticipate our return.

San Firenze could not do anything more to make our group's recent 6 night visit to Florence a great trip! Their "Happy Hour" was such a nice way for us to get together for some wine and little snacks before we headed off to find a restaurant for dinner. There were infinite restaurants within blocks, and both high-end and reasonable shopping minutes away. The maids straightened our rooms while we were at breakfast, and that was nice to return to. They always stocked whatever additional towels, shampoos etc that we requested, with friendly greetings in the halls. The front desk staff happily offered to assist us with taxis, directions, recommendations for restaurants, etc. Our group of 3 couples were also pleasantly surprised how quiet and dark the suites were at night, considering this is definitely a hub of activity during the day and evening! And the location seriously could not be beat. We were literally a 5 minute walk from so many museums, piazzas and did I mention awesome shopping! The rooms were spacious, and we really liked the 3 rooms chosen - King Luxury Suite and 2 Executive Suites. All had kitchenettes, including a tiny dishwasher. The beds and pillows were all comfortable, and everything was kept spotless. Three of us had massages at their spa on the lower floor, but they were not comparable to those in the states, and I would not recommend them. The massage tables were portable, and it was not the relaxing environment we are used to. However, with all the other positives about this hotel, I can overlook that minor detail! The complimentary breakfast buffet included a nice assortment, especially their pastries! I highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. It is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Florence, just a short walk to the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, and many other excellent shops, restaurants, and museums. The rooms are elegantly appointed, with very comfortable beds. The daily breakfasts are good, with a plethora of options. The outstanding service makes this place even more remarkable. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Their attention to detail helped make our stay unforgettable.

Four of us stayed at San Firenze Suites & Spa during our visit to Firenze. We received a very warm welcome. The staff, particularly Andrew, were very accommodating and helpful. Their breakfasts were delicious and with plenty of options of freshly cooked proteins and fresh fruits and pastries. We would definitely stay there again!

This hotel was by far one of the best hotels we stayed at on our trip to Italy this year. First off, the location is fabulous!! A little off the beaten path with its own piazza area but totally in center of where you want to be. Short walking distance to everything. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms were comfortable and pretty and fairly large. My grown Kids had a suite which was super lovely. The hotel has a small spa which my husband used( and they reserve it for only you or if its a couple) for the hour. The breakfast buffet was filled with a delicious variety of both warm and cold foods and it runs to 11:30 which is a plus for late risers. However, whatever the time of day if you need something ( we needed milk for a baby) the front desk is always available to take care of your needs. As a matter of fact the number one reason why we loved this hotel so much was the service. From the minute we checked in to the minute we left the service was impeccable. They were all warm, approachable, helpful, attentive and happy to help with anything we needed. Unfortunately, we needed a doctor for my 17 month old granddaughter ( who is fine thankfully) and they got one to the hotel and to our room within 2 hours. They handled everything! I am forever grateful. A shout out to the cleaning staff as well. All in all we stayed in 5 beautiful hotels on our stay this year. All were lovely all were special and all had excellent service but The San Firenze was just a bit above in that category. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend this hotel.

Using reviews before we planned our stay we selected this hotel for our two-week anniversary vacation. We are from the US and after all was said and done we are so happy that we stayed here. The staff was very helpful when we needed them, especially for our first few days when we needed recommendations. But the location is perfect as we did a lot of walking and it was so central to everything that we wanted to do including the train station for some great day trips. We stayed in room 305 which is a junior suite and really have no complaints about the size or the ability to store 2 weeks worth of clothing. My recommendation would be to have a wider shower curtain and longer hose for the handheld shower but we managed with it the way that it was. The rain shower was great and although the shower curtain was a little narrow we never got any water on the floor. The room was cool enough even though we were in the '90s the entire trip and we kept it at 19 Celsius the entire time which is as low as it will go. The mini fridge is very mini so it's just enough to fit some bottles of water and some wine or other alcoholic beverages. I would also recommend that the hotel install at least one or two outlets with USBs, as this would have been very helpful, but we managed with adapters that we brought from home. The breakfast is decent and I was even able to specially request egg whites in the morning and they were accommodating. We definitely plan to go back and we thank all the hotel staff for such a great experience.

My family of 4 just returned from our summer trip to Italy. One of the highlights of our trip was our stay at the San FIrenze Suites and Spa. The suite was perfect for the 4 of us including our two teenagers. It was a great location to explore all of Florence. We even had a great view of the Duomo from our corner suite. Breakfast and apertifs were available daily and excellent. The staff was also very friendly and super helpful in setting us a walking tour for us as well as dinner reservations. Thank you San Firenze Suites for making our stay very memorable.

My fiance and I stayed in this hotel on the Florence leg of our Italy trip. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very kindly by Santiago at the concierge desk. He took the time to explain to us the details of our stay and even escorted us to our room and gave us a tour. Moreover, he even brought out a map to show us where the historical sights were and restaurant recommendations. During our 3 night stay, we've always felt welcome at the hotel by the friendly staff. The room was cool, large, clean and comfortable to sleep in especially after a long day of walking in the summer heat. The breakfast buffet is extensive and fresh, something we looked forward to every morning. San Firenze Suites & Spa is easily one of our favorite hotels during our trip to Italy and we highly recommend. Thank you Santiago and team!

This was one of the best stay. Awesome customer service!! Room was super clean, staff is really helpful and nice. And it is few steps away from many landmarks. I would recommend it to everyone for their stay in Florence. We loved our stay there!

We loved our stay and will come again when visiting Florence. The staff are excellent and the food (breakfast and wine tasting) were delicious! The location is perfect for easy walking to everything in Florence.

This place made our stay so memorable. Amazing rooms, high quality staff, attention to details! They were always there to help, assist and make our trip better and memorable. Rooms are great, location is right where you are within a short walk to everything. Absolutely loved this place and staff!

A wonderful, small boutique Hotel in the heart of Florence. The staff are friendly, courteous, and go out of their way to be helpful. The room and hotel itself are clean and fresh looking. The included breakfast has a good selection. In the afternoons, complimentary red and white wine and snacks are served - a lovely gesture of hospitality. The hotel is within an easy walking distance of many of Florence's attractions. The bed in our room was comfortable. The wooden shutters and heavy drapes kept the room nice and dark. I'd definitely stay here again!

Spent three nights in a very nice room at this very conveniently located boutique hotel. Walkable to sites, restaurants and shopping. Very helpful staff got us taxis, gave us directions, great food recommendations. Kudos to Santiago, Mateo and (I think) Alessandro. Only critique is I thought the breakfast was just OK. Everything else was A+

This beautiful hotel was perfectly located in one of the best areas to see many of the Florence favorites. Though it is located in a very busy area, we found our room to be very quiet. Our room was spacious, modern and furnished with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and cappuccinos every morning. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and helpful with arranging our transportation needs and restaurant suggestions. Lorenzo, in particular, arranged our wonderful trip to Tuscany with Claudio. He also was very responsive to our questions before we arrived in Italy. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a 5 star experience when vacationing in Florence.

Had the best experience here. All of the Front Desk Staff is AMAZING. Our room was nice and very clean. Housekeeping respected our time in the room. If we left, we always came back to a cleaned room. The breakfast was really good. I was pleasantly surprised. In addition, the Hotel is centrally located and walkable to all the main attractions. Restaurants were everywhere. Highly recommend!

The San Firenze Suites & Spa is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of Florence. The rooms are larger than most rooms in Italy and were in great condition. But the main reason that you want to stay at the San Firenze Suites & Spa is the staff. As with most hotels the staff if friendly and courteous, but at the San Firenze Suites & Spa, the staff were above and beyond when it came to any reasonable request. From the front desk at check-in to the house staff, I'm hard pressed to remember a better hotel experience.

Amazing staff, amazing spa, amazing location, and amazing hotel––needless to say, San Firenze Suites & Spas is amazing! We stayed here for our honeymoon and I could not have picked a better hotel. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay in a great location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, this is your place!

We recently stayed for three nights at San Firenze Suites and Spa and had a wonderful experience. From the moment you step in the property you are greeted by their very friendly staff, who helped with any questions. We chose a Jr Suite room which was spacious, beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom area. Above all it was very clean and quiet, which allowed for a wonderful sleep - am a sensitive sleeper so this factor is very important and we had no issues. Room temperature was also very comfortable. We were in a very centric location walking distance from most of the sights and nice restaurants, osterias, and cafes. Morning breakfast had good variety to suit all tastes, and nice espresso coffee (cappuccinos, etc). I highly recommend this property and would stay again.

San Firenze Suites and Spa is a seriously great hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. The location is so well placed and near everything . Delicious breakfast served every morning. Even packed us a breakfast box for our early morning taxi to the airport. Service was impeccable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Stay here and enjoy this terrific hotel.

Couldn't be happier with our decision to stay at this hotel! Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The location was central to everything and the front desk staff was efficient and always helpful. They provided wonderful recommendations and went out of their way to be helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and would stay here again.

I couldn't rave more about my stay at the San Firenze Suites & Spa. The views from our room were incredible, the room was well-designed, comfortable, and clean. The staff (especially the front desk) were EXTREMELY helpful. Honesty, you should stay there just for the staff. They were kind, empathetic, and knowledgable. As much as I love to try new things I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Florence.

I cannot put into words how thankful I am for the staff at San Firenze. They helped me to keep a surprise from my wife and always went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. The excitement they shared when we could bring my wife up to speed for our anniversary surprise was amazing - it's like we were a part of their family. From the excellent rooms to the happy hour to the fantastic breakfast, I can't imagine a better place to stay and enjoy Florence. Also, the fact that it is centrally located is a major plus! I cannot recommend San Firenze enough to anyone thinking about where to stay when in Florence! If we ever go back to Florence, we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you all so much for the hospitality and making us feel so welcome!

Enjoyed our stay here so much!! The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and made us feel like we were coming back to something comfortable and familiar after our days exploring, and the location was unbeatable, walkable to everything in Florence. Would 100% stay here again when I return!!

There is only one word to describe this hotel: Wow. That is exactly what we said when we walked into the room. The San Firenze Suites & Spa is a perfectly situated hotel in Florence. We were no more than a 10 to 15 minute walk from everywhere we wanted to go. If you’re looking for a excellent hotel in Florence that is conveniently located stay here.

Centrally located - rooms were very clean and roomy. The staff was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Daily breakfast and daily happy hour is a really nice touch where we could also meet other travelers. They helped arrange transportation for us and make good recommendations of places to visit and eat. The staff certainly enhanced our stay in Florence to bring our European vacation to a wonderful end.

Absolutely fabulous!!!! See below for tips: The front desk helpers, especially the young man with glasses was so nice from the beginning/ ABOVE AND BEYOND service when our rental car company lost our reservation and I handed him the phone like “please help” and he sorted it out in Italian for a good ten minutes for us. So so nice!!! GET THE MASSAGES! BEST massages I think either of us have had and we pay 3xs more monthly in the IS for massages- the Swiss was phenomenal. We had a male and a female- the spa room was a fun/free add on with reservation. Let them help book restaurants! Their reservations are all 4.5+ on TripAdvisor and very yummy!!! They will also direct you to what you’re craving and call directly to arrange for you. Location is fabulous!!! You can walk to basically anywhere (statue of David museum, Michael Angelo lookout, rental cars, Chanel, Gucci) in 5-15 minutes. The breakfast is good, you can ask for a bag to take it to go which is what we did two days as we were short on time and it ended up being a lifesaver. Valet if you drive to the hotel is $40. They are open til around midnight and delivered the car back on time. Bed is comfy, room service was very responsive. Loved Florence and will recommend san firenze to our family/friends and stay here again next time!

We had the pleasure of staying at San Firenze Suites & Spa during the San Giovanni celebrations. This hotel completely exceeded our expectations, perfect location (we watched the parade in the comfort of the hotel's AC while having a glass of cold Prosecco in their lounge), very friendly and attentive staff, beautiful rooms with high ceilings, extremely comfortable bed and pillows and a luxurious marble bathroom. The staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay and our room was made twice a day with fresh towels and soft robes. It was a scorching hot weekend in Florence and going back to the hotel was such a treat every day. We took advantage of the in-house spa and booked a massage each. The masseuses were extremely skilled and professional. Thank you Simona, Antonio, Matteo and Annalisa, for pampering us for the whole weekend - we'll be back soon!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the San Firenze Suites and Spa hotel. It's location could not be in a better place for walking to must-see art and Florence history. The accommodations and staff were outstanding. Everyone was anxious to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, assisting us with reservations for food and places to go and see. Matteo at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to engage with during our stay. We HIGHLY recommend San Firenze Suites and Spa!!

Beautiful, cute, boutique hotel. The staff was wonderful; helpful with every request we made. The included breakfast each morning was delicious and provided a nice cross section of local fare. Located NOT right at a tourist spot, but within a few hundred yards of Duomo, Shopping, and tons of small shops, eateries, and museums. Highly recommend for romantic stays, not so much for kiddos.

Excellent location and rooms with beautiful views. Well stocked breakfast and the couples massage and spa package was a fantastic deal. We had booked them in 2021 for a trip, but cancelled last minute due to covid. They offered us a voucher that we had no issue using in 2022.

  • 4/5 Oscar G. 1 year ago on Google
Location is fantastic, staff is amazing, I would give 4.5 stars if I could. However, there were just some small things that added up over our stay to nudge it out of five star territory: an example, the shower was tiny and the hot water took a loooong time to arrive, also, the shower head has some buildup, so it sprays indiscriminately. Not a huge deal, but a few items like this add up over the days to keep it just out of the five star range. Overall though, it was still an enjoyable stay!

I would stay here again and again and again! The hotel itself is wonderful, as was our room, but the staff made our stay extra special. We stayed in a luxury suite for our honeymoon, and we had a view of Brunelleschi's dome from our bedroom window and a terrace where we ate breakfast each morning. The bathroom had a rain shower, and there was space galore. The concierge gave great recommendations during our entire stay, and they even have a complimentary aperitif hour in the hotel each day. It was divine!

Great location. Right in middle of town, and nice small square when leaving. Close to everything but also not crazy busy by hotel. Would recommend staying just for location. Would rate as 5 stars but hotel advertises as 4 star hotel, which would say it is more of a 3 star hotel with an awesome location. Breakfast was not good for Europe, more of an American breakfast type in Europe and nothing great about anything besides location. Average room for price. Would recommend based on location, think overall good value for money.
