First trip to Florence and we didn’t know what to expect booking this bed and breakfast. I can confidently recommend this place to anyone travelling to Florence. The proximity to everything is great, it’s right next to the centre of the city and the train station. The views of the Duomo and Giotto Bell Tower from the balcony makes for incredible breakfast views. The breakfast was simple but great offerings. We really enjoyed the fruit platter, ham and cheese toast and the cappuccino. Our room was spacious, more spacious than the Best Western hotel in Rome. The bathroom was clean with a spacious shower area. TL,DR: Great bed and breakfast, clean, quiet, amazing views, great proximity to everything and highly recommend.

I stayed here last week for one night and had a great experience. Everything is clean, the view was pretty, breakfast was good, location is great, it's right downtown. Some things to keep in mind: - The entrance is on a very busy narrow street, so taxi drop off and pick up can be tricky because they can't stop for long. - The owners/staff are not there 24/7 since this is a smaller place, so you have to arrange with them when you check in/check out. That being said, they are very accommodating and figure out how to make it work. - Breakfast is not like a buffet at bigger hotels, you tell them in advance what you'd like and you get it in the morning

i honestly do not know how this hotel has so many good reviews, it baffles me. the soundproofing is absolutely horrible - lots of noise outside in the early morning, kitchen sounds, cups and plates knocking against each other, VACUMM CLEANER SOUNDS, there’s even the sound of water from the room next door. not to mention people’s conversations especially when they’re raising their voice. although the room is clean and comfortable, there are some odd things like making us pay 6€ per person to change towels per night. shouldn’t that be included in the room’s cost? i will not be back again.

When making the reservation, be aware that the check-in time is limited. Our train arrived a bit late, but the proprietors are very accommodating and stayed to get us checked in. The room (superior double - shower) was quiet, spacious and modern. Breakfast was sufficient. Location is great - very close to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the cathedral. Be sure to get the directions as the B&B is a bit hard to find the first time. It was surprising they charged an additonal €6 per person per night to change your towels. With a nightly room rate over €130, you'd think that would be covered. There's an outdoor terrace which would be lovely in nice weather.

Incredible place. All modern, greatly furnished and spacious rooms. The staff is incredible, friendly, helpful and professional. Location is close to all the hotspots by walking distance. Not too forget the great terrace with a view to have breakfast on. Incredible value for money in Florence.

I had a great 2 nights stay. Short walk from station, spoilt for choices for food/drinks nearby and most importantly great service from the hosts. Clear explanation during check-in process and a nice daily breakfast. Rooms were modern, nice, quiet and clean. Thank You. I will definitely book again when I go back to Florence city.

Traveled from US to visit Florence and decided to stay here based on photos. From the second we arrived, Elena was so helpful in providing us information of the best local spots, including a print out of the best local restaurants with price points, etc. She walked us to our room - which is comfy and cozy - view of the street and Duomo and our personal favorite, the bathroom. A gorgeous tub/waterfall shower head, good pressure and consistent hot water. (weird observation, I know - but my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoy showers, so it's a must for us.) Breakfast in the AM is simple but great. Cappuccino made by hotel staff, toast and ham and cheese, with yogurt and a view of the city. Feels good to support a local B&B. Lastly, housekeeping goes above and beyond. Making sure to not only restock our room with essentials, but she went as far as to organize shoes I had throw to the side of the room. She folded my jeans for me that I had laid out on the bed and placed them nicely on the rack. She noticed we liked our water in the fridge, so she replenished it in the fridge for us with sparkling, which we prefer over still. The little things that go a very long way. Beds are comfy, TV netflix assessable and overall really welcoming and awesome staff. Here for another few days, but felt like writing a review incase anyone was looking to come and this was an option - if you're looking, come here for a great stay. Security to get in is also great. Doors locked unless you're buzzed in / have the code. Very happy with our decision to stay here.

The interior of this hotel is kind of state-of-the-art. Room is clean and the facilities are good. Especially I love the terrace with a view.

RL has an excellent central location and within easy walking distance of most of the tourist attractions in Florence. Our room was clean, modern and spacious. The terrace has a fantastic rooftop view. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Thanks to Elena, Stefano and Madalina for giving us a lovely base and making our 3 day visit to Florence so enjoyable. Hubie and Mar, Ashbourne, Ireland
