People are nice (but don't look so professional), rooms are big (but no fridge, no phone, no bidet, very loud), breakfast is not satisfying: no fruits and not enough tables for everyone when the hotel is full. Really close to train station and city center. Reasonably cheap.

Do the place up . And get the lift working . 3rd floor and no lift . Clean the exit button . Looks like a mechanic works in the place . Walls are paper thin . Best thing is the price as rip off Florence goes

Very helpful staff, excellent location, but the room was quite noisy because of the street below, the heating wasn't on so the room was cold, thankfully after we complained they fixed it.

The hotel doesn't have elevator. They charge you more fee than they especified. The rooms are dirty, old and small (not as they show in the photos). The air-conditioning doesn't work. I attached the real photos of the walls and the bathroom (too small)

Hotel was as described. The space was small, but usable. I wish the bathrooms were a little roomier. The hotel staff were very friendly. We enjoyed being served cappuccino every morning.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I would not even give it a 1 star if it was possible. We checked in at 2pm. We got in our room and the bed was not made and there was dirty towels in the room. The cleaner knocked on our door at 2:15pm to let us know she had to check the room. She then Informed us we had to wait outside so she could clean it. THE ROOM WAS NOT EVEN READY!. Once cleaned we went back in and I went to go to the toilet. I sat down and nearly fell off as the toilet seat was broken. I paid for an upgrade before arrival and the room I received looks nothing like the pictures. We booked another hotel up the road and got out of there. When I told the front desk what happened I was greeted with arguments instead of an apology which I thought was more than warranted. Looking at the previous reviews and the replies hotel genesio are giving the other reviews this is not a surprise. I am aware I will not get a refund and I am not even worried about this as I would rather be out of pocket than to stay at hotel genesio. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment and go to Luca Room Mate hotel it’s 50 metres up the road and beautiful. Hotel Genesio I have pictures for proof of you would like them

Nice and clean room. The facilities are not enough. The prices are cheap. For a 2 star Hotel, this is a good one. Location is very good near the city center. Reception available for most of the time.

The room and wetroom were clean and tidy. Space was limited, but it was a great price and a few minutes walk from the Duomo! Breakfast was basic with cereals, rolls, juice amd coffee. There was no double glazing and the street is a busy bus route, so we woke up pretty early with the traffic.

These are the photos to follow up my review. Toilet seat broken. Cracks and holes in the walls. Walls are filthy dirty. Paper over an electrical socket. Room and toilet tiny and this is the upgraded room !
