We arrived at Relais La Costa after à long day of driving, after checking in, we were greeted to the best dinner of my entire life! The rooms were very nice and clean with nice views of the Tuscan landscapes. there is little cell phone coverage up in this Retreat however there is free wifi that is perfectly usable despite the hotels remote location. The manager and all of the staff were very inviting and showed us to our rooms after arriving. The dinner is prepared in house and the dishes perfectly suited each other. I would definitely recommend coming here for a little getaway from the city. Thanks again to all the team, Eglantina, Marco, Marta, Marianna... The Carnahans 😀

This was such a relaxing beautiful retreat in a most gorgeous estate over 1000 years old. The area is beautiful, the suites are exceptional. We had a beautiful fire place in our room which was perfect for keeping us warm in the evenings. The stonework was incredible. We had a delicious romantic lunch on the terrace. We also had our best dinner of our entire trip at the hotel. We had a private dinner in the small restaurant on the property the chef cooked just for us - A delicious home made pasta with black garlic sauce and duck for our main course. There is a trail that we went hiking on and a spa that we rented for the afternoon. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after our stay. I hope to be back soon, again and again. THANK YOU!

Our stay was perfect. The staff went truly above and beyond in helping me propose to my girlfriend. Francesco did everything in his power to empower his team to go above and beyond. Irena took just a few photos as inspiration and turned them in to exactly what I wanted and what my fiancé always dreamed that special moment would be. I had a massage that was, hands down, the best massage I’ve ever had. Their spa area truly blew me away. I could tell every staff member truly cared and was deeply happy for us. Seeing even the chef peek around the corner with a huge smile showed me this place is filled with thoroughly good people that just want your stay to be perfect- and it was. We had a professional photographer join us and take photos. We hope you enjoy them and it helps you decide to stay here too.

Returned 1year after our wedding at Relais la Costa. It's such a beautiful place with stunning clear views of the Chianti hills and Siena. The food cooked by Marta is traditional, delicious and beautifully presented. Eglantina who runs the place cannot do enough for you. If you want a tranquil location with stunning accommodation and tasty food & wine, Relais la Costa can provide it all. Also a fantastic place for a wedding venue.

This was an exceptional stay. Everything I ever envisioned Tuscany as being is here. The furnishings in the room were so beautiful and authentic. The staff went above and beyond! Everyone was more than accommodating! The food is amazing and fresh. The best meals I have ever had! Even booked a massage and it was one of the best I’ve experienced. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

This place is an awesome stay right next to Siena. Incredible views and great place to stay, close to the best wineries. Rosaria was the best, super helpful, always friendly with a warm smile, best host ever. Francesca is the in house chef and her food is absolutely delicious.

It was one of the best vacations ever thanks to this amazing place! I felt like I came to visit my family in Tuscany... :) Amazing people work there! Thank you, everyone! Beautiful swimming pool and a great SPA. Our suite was very nice too. Living room, full kitchen and a great bedroom with a fantastic view of Siena. We rented a car and could drive to any city from our hotel within 30-40 m. I will definitely come back again! :)

The property is wonderful with the friendliest staff and really excellent food. We had a great time at the spa and had a great holiday - we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area :)

I want to give Relais La Costa five stars so badly because we loved our stay, but there were definitely a few negatives… First the positives, the location, the rooms were clean, the staff was amazing, and the view is spectacular, it’s truly a Tuscan oasis. :) The negatives for us were breakfast (it’s not a buffet but the quality is delicious), everything through the hotel is very expensive (food/dinner, drinks, massages, etc), there’s no air conditioning (it’s time to invest in a non central AC system for the rooms), and the drive up to the hotel. The drive time itself isn’t bad but they definitely should invest in a better graded road or some mirrors on the sharp corners or a system for cars that end up on the single lane at the same time. P.S. the staff again is so amazing!!!!

This is such a beautiful place to stay. The views are breathtaking. The staff are lovely. Definitely somewhere to escape the real world for a while. It's useful to have a car if you intend to use it as a base from which to explore the surrounding area.

Very beautiful and great service! It is very pricey but still had a good time. My only dislike is there is no ac so it gets really hot

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and although our expectations were high, somehow the stay managed to surpass them! Everything here is just perfect. The location is excellent, nestled in the countryside, the rooms are comfortable and cozy. We dined in twice and each time were absolutely impressed. We must extend our sincerest thanks to the staff, namely Rosaria, Davide, Diana and Francesca, who all made us feel right at home and made sure our stay was totally enjoyable. We cannot say enough about La Costa except....please do visit!
