Did 3 different tours with this group. All 3 were excellent. All had knowlegable and friendly guides who answered every question thown at them and could speak several languages. The stand out was Clause and the Uffezi- your passion for art captured my attentions and engaged me the entire time (and I am as non arts-y, average person as they come knowing very little of art and Early europesn history) You made me appreciate the art so much more because you put the pieces in context for me with the stories behind the painting or sculpture. I was even inspired enough to buy the gallery guide book to lear more. Well done!😃

Don't miss booking The Best of Tuscany small group tour! We had an amazing day with our tour guide Max. He had great facts and stories as we explored Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and a chianti vineyard for lunch!

We took the David walking tour (to Galleria Accademia), and it was wonderful! Our guide was informative, funny and actually passionate about what he was teaching.

I had a really lovely solo class with Joy, and I love the ring I made. I had previous experience with jewelry making but still learned some new things. This would also be a great class for complete beginners as well. It's so fun to have a hand crafted souvenir of my trip to Florence. Would highly recommend!

Let me start by saying the two tours we took in Florence through ArtViva were worth every penny! My 82 year old boyfriend and myself age 70 were taking our first trip to Europe and our first cruise that had been postponed for two years due to Covid. Deteriorating health made our original Rick Steves tour of Italy impossible however we used his suggestion of ArtViva. ArtViva was great to deal with via Email. Attempting to deal with “Florence on your own“ excursion from our cruise and coordinating tour times took some persistence. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have arranged for cell phone service simply for the Florence trip as I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi to use my email to get in touch with them once I left the ship. I had many people praying and we had the most wonderful tour guide Martina who patiently waited and did not give up for which I am so grateful!!! We both have hearing issues and I was relieved when she spoke that her phraseology and English were spot on. Her love of art and DAVID mixed with her vast knowledge gave us an unforgettable memory! The same was true with Brenda and her fabulous tour of the Uffizi she took into consideration our physical & time challenges and the desires of what we wanted to see and made it another awesome experience, thank you from Karen & Cooper in AZ

Amazing tour and transfer service. Don’t hesitate to use ArtViva. Rose helped us plan our transfer service from Rome to Florence based on what we would enjoy. Jonathan was an excellent and attentive host and driver. The private tour of the farm was very informative and just lovely. This is the place you visualize when you think of Tuscany. The cheese, wine and food was superb. The view was incredible. It met every expectation. I definitely plan to go back and look forward to planning more tours with ArtViva.

We did the Original Florence Walk with Martinia(my apologies if I didn't get name correct) on a Sunday morning and it was the most fantastic tour we did on our trip to Italy. It was a nice relaxing tour and Matinia was very easy to understand and communicate with. Her way of explaining Florence and the hidden gems we came across(like the working Wine Window and Mona Lisa house and other spots) was fabulous!! We learned and experienced a lot about Florence that otherwise we wouldn't have found on our own. Ask for Martinia as your tour guide, she is very very good!!

My family and I attended the Artviva’s Perfect Day Hiking in Tuscany Tour and had a great time with our guide, Leo. This tour is a very casual tour/hike through the Tuscan countryside near Fiesole. Leo picked us up at an Oltrarno location in Florence. We started with a quick stop at the basilica Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte. He then drove us to Fiesole for a hike through the Tuscan countryside near Monte Ceceri up to Piazzale Leonardo. The hike was not strenuous and included wonderful vista of Florence and Tuscany. The tour also included lunch at Perseus Fiesolano, a restaurant in Fiesole. The meal was great and included some wonderful Chianti. We ended the tour with a winery visit. This was not the highlight of the tour since the storage rooms were blocked by construction. Leo was a great guide. He kept the tour pace at one that fit our family’s ability. He was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He is well-traveled and his English was excellent.

Loved our Academy/David tour with Irene! She knew the history, and stories, bringing the artists and their work to life. 🎨 Communication with management regarding scheduling and meeting up at the Caffe Scudieri ☕️🍰was a welcome breeze, when traveling about Italy 🚗🚂🚎🚊can be challenging to us visiting Americans. Gold cup to Irene and ArtViva. 🏆

Artisan Tour of Florence. We love all types of art/artists and this tour seemed like it would allow us to learn more about them. It was amazing! Maria personalized our tour to include visits to studios/stores of jewelry making, Florentine paper design, leather, mosaics and added stops along the way (textiles, gold leaf painting, local craft show) as she got to know us. We truly enjoyed meeting so many artisans and learning about renaissance and contemporary techniques. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. this tour, it added a wonderful dimension to our trip to Florence!

The Taste of Tuscany tour was fantastic!!! Our guide, Martina was super knowledgeable, very personable and an overall gem! She and the driver took us from Florence to Tuscany which was an incredibly beautiful trip. During the trip Martina gave us tons of great information about the region and wines in general. We went to two wineries to tour the wineries and gardens and taste the wines. She is a wine sommelier and we learned so much on this tour about wines and wine tasting as well as just had a phenomenal time!!! Highly Recommend this tour!!!

ArtViva's "Original Florence Walking Tour" was fascinating and fun! This was our 3rd time in Florence, so we're not novices, yet our guide, Alessandro, brought the medieval and renaissance times to life, walking us through many familiar and some new (to us) streets and buildings, and pointing out and explaining things we never knew, or hadn't fully understood. We learned so much, while literally standing in the shadows of history, art and architecture - seeing first hand how people lived, died, ruled and conducted business in historical Florence. Alessandro's knowledge seemed endless and he was really interesting. The pace was great - time enough to learn and absorb, but he also kept us moving. There were only 4 of us, which made things very personalized. We all appreciated the short bathroom and coffee break mid-walk, which is an example of the sophistication of this Artviva tour. The Original Florence Guided Walking tour with Alessandro was one of the highlights of two weeks in Italy. I highly recommend it!

Our guide Laura was incredibly knowledge and enthusiastic about the beautiful art and history in Florence. We arrived early and she was ready and waiting for us. The tour made our short stay in Florence magnificato! We hope to come again soon and will DEFINITELY contact Artviva and request Laura. She helped us fall in love with the art and history of Florence.

My wife and I went on the “Best of Tuscany” tour with Martina, our tour guide, and the best driver in the universe, Luigi. Both of them were awesome. The two took us to a couple different towns and gave us a few tips at each one of things to make sure we didn’t miss anything. Before the last stop Luigi took us to a scenic view where everyone got a picture of San Gimignano. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our day with them and it was one of our favorite days on our trip.
