Donatello exhibit was a pleasure at 10am, get in the line “without reservations” to buy a ticket for 15€, you can come back later same day or head upstairs, I love and appreciate small exhibits, this one was about 120 chef d’œuvres to look at, ponder, and read about. I liked it so much!

Initially I thought that pretty sure I will not be the only disappointed person buying a 15€ ticket to the Reaching for the stars special exhibit. Consisting of seemingly only a handful of artistic video exhibits and the final room of framed headlines from newspapers around the world for the 9/11 tragedy. Turns out, I mistakingly fast forwarded to the opposite side of the main entrance, and went downstairs to see the final portion of the exhibit. The main exhibit is immediately to the right, and up the stairs of exiting the ticket office. This changed my perspective completely. Well layed out, thought provoking, interesting. Still wish this was a larger exhibit though.

The Strozzi Palace stands in the old part of Florence and is one of the most beautiful Italian Renaissance palaces. It stands between Vii Tornabuoni and Via Strozzi and Piazza Strozzi. It is a beautiful building that hosts world-renowned exhibitions.

Hosts modern art; I'm not very knowledgeable in this domain, so I can't pinpoint a current/period. But it's a welcomed occasion to see something different, to change the viewpoint.

I went here for the Jeff Koons exhibition. Nice organization and nice staffs. The Palace has a cafe inside so people can rest as well. I hope they hold more exhibitions so that I can come back.

Really great place. It’s a great art museum but also one of the greatest places to go take selfies for Instagram or other places. Going in the afternoon as must make it recommended because there aren’t that many people. It’s a good price for what you’re getting and quite big.

Very helpful staff, Continuation of the Donatello show also at the Bargello. This layout somewhat easier 7 rooms all on 2nd floor. Disability Note: no need for timed, advance tickets staff will waive you and caregiver along. Lift east access to 2nd floor exhibition. Did not use toilet but located near elevators and regular toilets.

The building and main exhibits are great, but don't miss the all legos Ai Weiwei tucked in a side room in the ticket counter behind the wooden scale model of the Palace.

Went for the Jeff Koons exhibition, if you don't want to wait for one hour - the entrance process is really slow - you should pre book online at least one day in advance (same day not possible)

Palazzo Strozzi is one of the most striking Renaissance buildings in Florence. Unlike the similar Medici Palace which has only 2 visible sides, this palace has 4 because it is surrounded by 4 streets. Walk around to see it from different angles.

This gorgeous mansion is mainly used as a beautiful exhibition centre and there is no visit to any areas other than those devoted to exhibitions. I went to see Anish Kapoor's amazing works in November 2023. Well worth it, especially to experience his patented 'Vanta black' voids. Palazzo Strozzi itself is situated in an elegant quarter of central Florence. Building began in 1489, after the ban on the Strozzi family from the city was lifted. The first stone was laid by Filippo Strozzi who sadly he died before its completion. His children continued the line of ownership along the troubled family line until 1937. Nothing outside of the exhibition area is visitable, but there is a video area that shows the history of the family mansion and the works of the council and foundation that now manages it.

Went for Donatello exhibit. I’ve been to a few other exhibit at the Strozzi palace and is always so well organized and done with such care. This is one of my favorite places in Florence. Plus the shop has some great items

We came for the Olafur Eliasson exhibit 'Nel Tuo Tempo' and it did not disappoint! The interaction of his work with Palazzo Strozzi's renaissance space is very creative and interactive for the viewer. There is even a VR element to the exhibit, it was a fun and eye opening experience and definitely worth the visit. I recommend buying tickets in advance since we had to wait even though we visited on a weekday in late November!

The museum is interesting if you are a history lover and want to experience the less known places. Outside that concept, it is not that interesting to the average tourist. Beautiful building. Worth a visit if you have time

I spent a couple of hours at Palazzo Strozzi during Olafur Eliasson exhibition, the largest exhibition ever made in Italy dedicated to one of the most original and visionary contemporary artists of our era. Book in advance!

Visited the American Art exposition today. Great collection. Bought tickets online. That saves you waiting in line. A visit with audio guide takes about 1 - 1,5 hours.
