Wonderful house museum in central Florence. It feels like an authentic glimpse into a Florentine household and is a nice contrast to the more ornate palazzo in the city. It is fairly small so would take less than an hour to visit. Also houses an archive of lace and embroidery which is very interesting for those who love textiles.

This is one of the original mansions in Florence which was amazing. It was very quiet too which is a shame. Great to see how the house looked and their efforts at upcycling - note the light in the kitchen! Definitely well worth a visit.

The hidden gem of Florence. Absolutely stunning building with a fascinating story and beautifully restored interiors. All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable (especially Dionizio!). It was also incredibly cheap for how much is there. Absolutely worth a visit.

We went on a day when they were only allowing visitors to the upper floors as part of tours, and so we were only able to see the first floor. STILL worth it! SO beautiful, possibly the most striking thing we saw. I'd just recommend booking a tour, which I believe are free, you just have to be there at the right time.

An amazing Palazzo of a wealthy florentine family. Well worth visiting, especially if the top floor kitchens are open. This is one of the only traditional florentine houses open to public in Florence with precious tapestries, furniture and the first private toilets in Florence which only came in to the mainstream one and a half centuries later! The wall frescos are absolutely stunning!

Travel back in time to 1350! One really gets a sense of how the Davanzati, bankers for the Popes at Avignon, lived then. I was surprised how religious they were, with many places to pray, with statues, built into the walls.

Very interesting seeing how homes were in the 14th century and how they were decorated. Interesting learning experience as well finding the kitchen on the top floor.

A medieval townhouse, complete with children's drawings on the wall. Would recommend.

This is a more intimate museum, but provides a fascinating snapshot of what Florentine aristocratic life was like. The materiality of the house reflects changes in ownership and the taste and lifestyles dictated by access to skilled craftsmen and resources. There are household objects arranged in rooms by function and many decorative pieces like paintings and frescoes. The museum also carries a collection of textiles which showcase techniques popular at the time like lace and embroidery. Very worthwhile.

Excellent experience. Loved the Palace. The tour was short, but very impressive, as you get to see the palace, rooms, furniture, and some nice paintings. The rooms included a workshop for sewing. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I liked the simplicity of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to others.

A quieter and smaller palazzo. Well worth a look and a great place to visit on a rainy day.

Unique insight into a palace from the middle ages. Perhaps more advanced than its contemporaries. Worth a visit if you are not into staring at paintings and sculptures all day. I am and still enjoyed it😄 Was free when we went so ended up waiting as they let groups of 25 at the time every half an hour. But once you are in it makes sense as you move up from floor to floor as a group and you can ask your guide for info.

This house was amazing. The architecture and design is remarkable; the quality of workmanship that has endured so many changes and challenges. I’m surprised that it didn’t have a long queue. We walked straight in. The furniture pieces on display are very interesting and being able to walk the many levels and see bedrooms, bathrooms, dining areas and kitchen were fantastic. The best site visit I had in Firenze.

The official website listed on Google is invalid. Is there any other trusted website to buy ticket online? Are the opening hours stated here accurate i.e. open on Thurs morning and Friday afternoon? Can anyone please advise? Many thanks.

Beautiful renaissance palazzo in remarkable preservation. It includes numerous original artworks including della robbia and a sculpture potentially attributed to Brunelleschi. It really demonstrates how a wealthy Florentine family lived. You can see examples of defensive mechanisms and other technologies of the day. The tour is nice and personal. For 6 euros this is a steal.

A wonderfully preserved and restored medieval Florentine house, furnished in keeping with the period. The entrance fee included a free tour. A fantastic way to see how a middle class Florentine family lived.

Only sparsely furnished. Worth seeing if you have lots of time in Florence, but shouldn't be near to the top of your list of attractions to visit.
