Ok, this was a bit of a scam, in my opinion. Calling it a museum is a stretch, there are some of his inventions spread across 3 floors, in a tiny, roasting apartment. Charging 10€ for it is outrageous in my opinion. Most I'd pay for is 5€. Kids might enjoy more, as the "interactive" bits are simple and unimpressive. Nothing on his paintings either. I wouldn't recommend.

First thing, the map location is wrong, the museum is round the corner and 100mtrs up on the right of the listed finish point. I suspect the exhibit may have moved since it was first listed. The exhibits are excellent and accessible, descriptions in multiple languages and all very tactile. You are encouraged to play!

Small museum dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci. Kids will love it. Ingenious inventions, physics, mechanic and human anatomy are shown in his 400-500 year creations and studies. There’s a space to watch a wonderful but long video about Leonardo’s life (45-50min long). It is worth though. Also you may play some interactive games with your kids. There’s a store where you may buy tickets, books and some inventions.

I was kind on the fence about this museum since some reviewers claimed it was small. Took the chance and discovered that if you just stop and savor every exhibit it is a very interesting experience. It is amazing how this one person (Leonardo) came up with so many creations. Granted some were already in effect at the time but he put a new twist on the basic ideas. Adults can be impressed by the technical achievement and children can enjoy the area with the hands on making a lot of noise which children will definitely enjoy. There was no as much pressure as other museums and attractions in Florence. I personally enjoyed the display, it was very well done. And yes, every museum ends in the gift shop.

Small but great exhibit. Descriptions for the models were informative and succinct. There's also a great interactive section in the basement for the 2nd half of the museum.

Not really a big museum person but this was fun. Maybe appeals to the engineer in me. The labs, building an arched bridge, and interacting with so many amazing machines gave me a new respect for Leonardo's work.

Not sure if the one down the road is better. But was a good rest stop between walking / exploring for the kids and interesting to learn more about Leonardo da Vinci.

Small museum, but lots of Da Vinci inventions inside. I wish a bigger museum would be dedicated to the genius of Da Vinci. Nevertheless, an amazing experience and the practical experience in the Da Vinci school/lab was wonderful.

Very few to watch. Some of the inventions are repeated. Many of them interactive. It’s just small rooms full of replicas, kind of a tourist trap. Cool for kids tough.

Fun interactive museum for the whole family. Informative, entertaining, and clean. Well worth the €8 for the entry, and it’s only one more for a headphone tour. We opted out of the headphones and felt we still had a great experience.

A wonderful museum to discover the creations of the Great Leonardo Di Vinci. I was amazed at the amount of interactive displays and motion designs you could try out with explanations of how to work them. 3 floors of stunning replicas of his work. I learned so much. It was easy to get to and a great hour and bit spent.

Not bad if you run short of activities to do in Florence, on a rainy day, or just want to keep your kids busy with some of the interactive exhibits.

Brilliant experience, awesome to try all the machines and learn about Leonardos life. Only critique is that the museum is smaller than the workshop and first free bits of the exhibition. Definitely worth it though! No need to buy online, you can buy tickets at reception.

Small museum, nice for kids to enjoy . Those who are interested in history may enjoy this place more and understand the Leonardo’s muti talent in 14th 15th century.

For a relatively small museum there was a lot to see. Don't be put off by the museum shop entrance. There are a lot of exhibits. Some of them interactive. The women in the shop was helpful and friendly. Sometimes there is a number of people wanting to enter the museum with others looking to purchase from the shop. Other times it looked as though there was nothing left to do in the tidy shop. Please be patient if you hit a busy moment. It is worth it.

A lovely museum located in the city centre of Milan. The exhibits are laid out well and have plenty of informative displays. The interactive touch is also great! Prices were not that expensive and the staff were friendly and helpful. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit and the history is great. Definitely recommend for anyone to go and visit!

The staff was polite and offered to hold our stroller. There are two small interactive rooms for children to explore. I took my 3 year old who mainly enjoyed the rooms he could touch everything.

Fun for kids maybe? There is a small room of interactive toys, otherwise it's do not touch the cheap replicas. Edit: we saw other cheap replicas of this same "museum" in other cities. Definitely don't recommend. This is not unique or special, just a marketing ploy with poorly made samples. I understand it may not be easy to reproduce a masterpiece but when it's obviously poorly made I'm not sure why make it if it can't be used to touch and learn from. Overall I felt hosed on the entrance fee. Commercialization of Da Vinci with a lot of marketing but very small crowded space. You were lucky if you could get close enough to a sign to read it and you barely had time to read half before another family or child was trying to push past you. I really expected higher quality displays. Made with better materials. Instead everything was made with the same cheap wood & stain and labeled do not touch. The ones you could touch were often poor fakes. A gear to lift a "weight", but if you touched the weight it was an empty box of air. Save your money for the real museums. This is just a modern Commercialization of Da Vinci with poor translations in a too small cramped space.

Nice museum, also for kids. Much to touch and try. Not much (new) to learn about Da Vinci, but a good visit. We spend here approx 1.5 hours (incl nice museum shop)

Incredible museum close to the City Center in Florence. Perfect for adults and kids. They have interacting machines that make you understand the Genius that Leonardo was. Definitely recommend it! They have about 10-14 rooms and two floors. If you are trying to entertain your kids 5-14 years old this is the perfect place!

Small museum but extremely informative about the life of Leonardo Da Vinci. Cheap entry fees at €8 per pax. Free for older and younger folks. An hour is enough to enjoy. Recommended for all ages.

There is 5 room in this museum. Not to say it is a bad museum but 1/3 of the workshops aren't working For 8€ it is a bit much, but it is Firenze.

Small and amazing. Really worth a visit, perhaps more so than the standard well known museums.

I had high expectations that were not met. It’s a very small interactive museum. It’s really good for young kids (6-10 year old). It has wooden inventions that are inspired by drawing taken from Da Vinci’s notes. The entire museum can be done in 15 minutes tops, and that while reading every description of all the interactive inventions.

Very biased review because I'm a big fan of DaVinci. It is a small museum but it is definitely worth it. 8 euros it's not a lot.
