It right in the city of Florence. A walking distance to all the attractions in Florence and a lot of bus connections too. There is a lot of restaurants to choose from. The museum is magnificent. I will recommend a visit to enjoy the beauty inside the chapel.

The square in Florence which houses the San Marco Museum, the Academy of Fine Arts and the University Piazza San Marco is located in the historic center of Florence and stands out for its quadrangular shape, surrounded by elegant buildings. The square is surrounded by large buildings, such as the Palazzina della Livia, attributed to Bernardo Fallani (1780), which currently houses the Garrison Officers' Club, and, on the opposite side, the Academy of Fine Arts and the headquarters of the University from Florence. In the center of the square is the monument of General Manfredo Fanti, made in bronze by Pio Fedi in 1873.

Little square with an interesting statue! This square is very small. There is a beautiful statue in its center, some pew benches and only this! What I thought strange is the fact that there weren't trees in this square. Because of that, it doesn't attracts me.

Nice square in Florence ...busier with traffic than most. Looked to have a few restaurants and a beautiful church to explore. There is a historical statue in the center of the square and great seating to stop and take a break from walking. Watch traffic when crossing anywhere here..very busy.

A nice small piazza from the busy areas around. A short distance from the train station, the Duomo and next door to the Accademia Gallery. Therefore it's an usual meeting place for tours. (July 2022)

You pay for water. Food was good. Gelato and bakery on each side. Same owners. 3 in 1.

This is considered as city center. I was there waiting to go on a tour that never happened, but there are a lot of little restaurants around to grab a quick bite to eat. I later found out that I was close to shops and the sites to see that I could have toured solo.

Completely underrated Church. Very beautiful and has the remains of St Antonio, Bishop of Florence 560 years ago that you can venerate.

The museum was closed, idk for what reason. The piazza is usually fully packed with people eating their panini from Al'antico vinaio.

A lovely busy square bustling with people coming and going. Mostly bus traffic but lots of students and visitors to the museum and church nearby.
