Bring €1 coins for the chapels. The lights are controlled by a machine that takes €1 coins. Santa Trinita is the site of the Bartolini Salimbeni Chapel, with frescoes by Lorenzo Monaco in the International Gothic style dating to the 1420s and the Sassetti Chapel, containing early Renaissance frescoes by Domenico Ghirlandaio dating to the 1480s. With a difference of only 60 years, one can see the progression from the International Gothic to the development of linear perspective and other realist techniques in the early Renaissance.

One of the most beautiful churches in Florence. Inside, find a handful of chapels with frescoes and artwork by some of the greatest artists of the Renaissance: Neri di Bicci, Lorenzo Monaco, Domenico Ghirlandaio, and Ludovico Cigoli, amonst others.

Basilica di Santa Trinità is a beautiful smaller church that is situated right in the center of Florence, off a square that is famous for being in the center of the fashion shopping area. If you happen to be shopping or just walking by, make sure to take the time to visit.

A lovely church in the heart of Florence. It’s a must see and it is very close to the most expensive street of Florence, where all high end Brand’s like Gucci, Ferragamo, Prada etc are lined up..

Lovely atmosphere inside the church. Unlike the other popular ones this one gives you a calmer feeling both inside and outside. The paintings are worth stopping and observing.

A simpler church in the heart of Florence. We passed it twice between the SMN station and the Uffizi / river direction. It felt very peaceful. I especially loved the green colour in the stained glass windows 😊

Listened to a choral festival in this church! Absolutely angelic! (The church, that is.. the choir who was competing had no skill whatsoever)

Well, I am not sure why I need to review this, it's just a bridge. Nothing particular as there were more than 4 bridges there. However, you do get a nice view and perfect spot for selfie when you are at the bridge.

Entry's free but the church is more spectacular outside than inside. Do not pay for the crypt, it's tiny and empty.
