We were here on Monday and the beach was 1/3 occupied only. Very lay-back and relaxed experience. An umbrella with two beds is 15Euro. They have showers and change room too. You can also rent kayaks and paddle boards. The only complaint would be a very limited menu at the restaurant. Pizza and drinks only. I wish they had a wider variety.

A big surprise in the area. You don’ have to go at the see to have a water, sun and beach! This lake (although man made as a water reservoir for flood) gives you perfect opportunity to rest, catch sun and chill out :-). As in Tuscany, there are so many beautiful places to see or visit that beach is great for a day break from sightseeing. There is a bar, toilets, showers and places to change, all in one place. During holidays it is usually crowded, but if you want to have a good place you need to arrive at the morning or evening for sunset.

Il lago é stupendo, location ben curafa con piccolo ristorantino per cenette direttamente sul lago. Acqua pulita e spiaggia con sassolini tondi dove poter stare anche con telo. Consigliatissimo. C'é pure un campo da beach volley con rete anche per rachettoni.

Parcheggio gratuito comodo e in buono stato. Si accede al lago da dei piccoli sentieri abbastanza scoscesi. Si può fare il bagno. Il paesaggio é molto bello, c'è silenzio, si sta molto bene. I cestini per non lasciare immondizia sono nel parcheggio quindi è importante portare sacchetti per non lasciare sporco.

A really beautiful pebble beach in Tuscany’s largest artificial lake. Deckchairs cost €5 each for the day (plus an extra €5 for an umbrella), but you can pay with card. Free toilets and bathing facilities as well and a cafe that serves good coffee. Well worth a trip on a hot summer’s day. 😊

Today the weather was fantastic, the temperature also, about 30 grade. The lake has had a clean water, you could see the fishes yet. Around the lake you can find many parking lots. If you want you can eat steet food, there are many places there, it's easy find it. Bilancino lake is the Florence's sea, it is far about 30km from it

Es ist ein wunderschöner Stausee mit kristallklarem und überraschend warmem Wasser (am Nachmittag ist es etwas trübe weil die Mineralsstoffe aufgewirbelt werden). Der Strand ist kostenlos und verfügt über kostenlose Umkleidekabinen sowie Toiletten. Für 1 € kann man warm duschen. Die Liegen und Sonnenschirme kosten jeweils 5€ pro Tag. Mann kann hier alles Schwimmgerät mieten, was man sich vorstellen kann. Auf dem Strand gibt es einen Shop mit allem, was man am Strand gebrauchen kann, sowie eine Bar mit frischer vor Ort zubereiteter Pizza (4€) und anderen Snacks. Ausser Kaffe kann man auch Drinks bestellen. So eine gute Infrastruktur hat kaum ein Strand am Mittelmeer.

Hier een heerlijke dag gehad op een warme dag met onze kinderen (4,7,9). 4 bedden en 2 parasols gehuurd (40 euro) en later op de dag nog een supboard (10 euro voor een uur). Strand kindvriendelijk met goed toezicht. Bij bahia café kun je tegen redelijke prijs ook eten en drinken. Al met al een al een aanrader voor een fijne dag aan het water.
