Nice room but if you use the toilet it will smell all the hotel . You know what I mean? Good breakfast as well. We had some parking problems here as well

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Jane. It's a 15-20 minute walk to city center. But there is a lot of nightlife along the way. We loved being with the locals...the restaurants and the stores, away from all of the main attractions and tourists. The breakfast buffet was wonderful...well stocked and delicious: boiled eggs with herbs, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers with olive oil and herbs, assorted cheeses, croissants, breads, and meats, as well as juices, coffee and tea. We enjoyed every moment. As far as the rooms, the shower was small, but hot. The walls of the room were pretty thin. We had to knock on the wall one morning because our neighbors were talking and laughing loudly when we were trying to sleep. But they quieted down quickly and we didn't have any other problems. It's not luxurious. But, overall, it was an affordable and well-appointed place to stay. The people who ran the hotel were very kind and took care of our every need. I would definitely go again. For some people, 20 minutes may be too far from the main attractions. But, we loved how quiet the area was. And, all of the walking kept us from gaining weight! Bonus!

Very helpful, welcoming, nice staff. We were given a map of the city when we checked in with all the major tourist attractions on it and the lady at the desk highlighted where we were and gave us directions to get us started. Rooms are nice and the breakfast buffet is very well stocked for the price.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights. We booked a parking space in advance, and it wasn't available. After asking/complaining the receptionist was unfriendly and snippish. The room was smelling like a Chinese plastic factory. We tried to find out where it was coming from and identified the walls. So nothing to do about it. Multiple plates the breakfast were dirty. The use of plastic cups for the juices at breakfast somehow felt wrong. The furniture in the room was already pretty used/worn out. We expected more for the price.

The hotel is in a very calm neighborhood full of restaurants and shops. It is on the border outside ztl area. Tourists can easily drive to the hotel and there are plenty of street parking available. It is located just 15 mins walk from centre attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Staffs were really soft spoken and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, well stocked and delicious: boiled eggs, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, cheeses, croissants, breads, and meats, as well as juices, coffee and tea. It also has a beautiful bar/lobby area. Hotel offers 15€ per night car parking if you don’t find street parking nearby. The room was cleaned everyday. It was spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 toddlers for reasonable price and super clean. Smart tv really helped us keeping our toddlers calmed. We felt room was quite hot but managed by switching off one of the radiators. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was very clean and well maintained. Front desk staff was great. Breakfast was tasty. Location is perfect for exploring Florence.

For ~$220 per night I was disappointed with the condition of the rooms. The ambiance is cheap IKEA furniture with lots of drill holes in the walls that are spackled haphazardly. I would have expected more than the bare minimum for this price. You could hear every word and toilet flush from your room neighbors. What is this smell when you enter? Is it from the heater? Nonetheless, the room was clean. We received a bottle of prosecco for New Year's Eve. The breakfast was great! Everyone was super nice and helpful. The area is great for shopping and there is a bus nearby, the C2 and C3 which takes you to the iconic dome in 10 minutes.

One of the best hotel I stayed in Italy. As per budget their rooms are good. I stayed with my wife. Their amenities are good. Like they offered water hitting kettle which must require things for me . Their hitting system is good also. Minibar is quite good. Best part they also kept complimentary tea, coffe bags in room. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is too good. Stuffs are very helpful. Specially the lady in reception, she is very informative & cool.

Amazing find! The staff is just the kindest, the rooms are clean and the location is great. It's outside the historic center but still very close to shops. We had a last minute flight delay and had to find a hotel fast; they were so reasonably priced, and so lovely for our late night check in. Sad to leave, but so happy we stayed.

Clean, basic, comfy beds, friendly staff and a great location. We saw a part of "local" Florence in the neighborhood near the hotel. Lovely restaurants and cafes just along the street or around the corner.

Easy check-in and check-out thanks to Jasmina and the rest of the personable and multi-lingual staff. The rooms are spacious enough, considering the reasonable price...and super clean! So, clean, in fact, that I tracked down the housekeeper to compliment her. Mine is a 4-star review due to the fact the walls are a bit thin, so you may hear the tv, etc of your neighbor. Other than that...enjoy your stay in the secure comfort of Hotel Jane.

Hotel Jane was absolutely amazing. Great location, just a 20 minute walk/ 10 minute taxi ride from almost everything. Great coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, gelato shops, etc all within a 5 minute walk. The family room was very spacious and very clean. Incredible shower with great water pressure. The best part though, was the staff. Some of the nicest people I've ever come across when I've traveled. Incredibly polite, helpful, and genuinely amazing and fun people to talk to. Definitely a great choice to book, whether on a romantic trip, with family, or traveling for business. I can't wait to go back!

Great hotel! Clean rooms with nice breakfast/lobby area. Staff was great at providing recommendations. Location is a little outside historical center but it’s a short walk and personally preferred having a little separation. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes around

We had a good comfy stay here. The buffet breakfast was good enough, would say just like most hotels in Europe. Hotel is 15 20min walk from the city centre & Duomo. They also help with the parking space nearby which is also a plus if you are driving to Florence.

Rooms are a little bit tiny, but who cares when you are on a city trip? We have been very lucky to get an upgrade. Fortunately we found a parking spot right in front of the hotel and didn't need to pay for the garage. You will walk 10-15 minutes for Old Town and 15-20 minutes for the major attractions like Ponte Vecchio, The Duomo. Breakfast is alright, European standard. If I ever return to Florence, I will definitely stay in Hotel Jane again.
