This came up under vegan restaurants on a Google search, there are some vegan options and oat milk is available but the chips etc are not vegan due to the cooking process. Ended up having a dairy free option. The portions looked good and the drinks menu was extensive both for cocktails and smoothies. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Probably better for omnivores

Nice spot for brunch, providing American cuisine. The food is delicious and fresh. However, must note their big portions. Service was quick, although it was a full house. 👍🏻 When I arrive there was a waiting line, and it didn’t take long to be seated “around 15 minutes”. good place to visit if you are looking for American cuisine in Firenze 🇮🇹😍

Great eating and drinking spot away from the main tourist crowds. Can get crowded in the morning, with wait lists upto 1 hour long. Pulled pork sandwich was huge, and the avocado toast with salmon was great. Smoothies were a bit bland, but nonetheless, refreshing.

If you’re getting sick of the classic European breakfast of croissant and coffee, you must check Rooster out! I ordered chicken and waffles with a side of scrambled eggs The chicken strips were so tender and juicy! Well marinated with a bit of a kick (slight spice). Crispy on the outside and your teeth sinks right in easily. 10/10 chicken!!!!!! Waffles were fluffy and contrasts well with the chicken strips. We were too full to try the smoothies everyone was raving about! 🥹 service here is great! Very friendly, warm and welcoming. The table next to us wanted to substitute everything. Change the sausage to bacon, replace the oat milk with almond milk. Had a tour at 11am but ordering food at 10:15am. Server was very patient and handled everything with a smile. Couple left happy so definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ establishment!

I went to this place on a whim as I was craving a savoury breakfast. And it did not disappoint ! The eggs Benedict were honestly the best I’ve ever tried, and the iced café latte was amazing, not too sweet but not too bitter. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have an "American" type of breakfast/brunch.

Having lived in Harlem NYC and visited New Orleans many times I’m well placed to confirm the fried chicken & waffles here are some of the best I’ve ever had. We’ve also visited Rooster many times over the years and had consistently great food and service - Be prepared to wait for a table at prime time - but if your looking for a change from excellent Italian cuisine- This place is for you. And the prices are very reasonable. Great bacon, avocados and burgers - Brisket and pulled pork & pancakes Bravo!

real good, my dad loved this place since he likes a heavier breakfast. i loved all of the vegan options, especially the protein power bowl. also, the smoothies are great!

This is the best place to have breakfast IN THE WHOLE WORLD!! There’s nothing that doesn’t tastes good. Everything is just perfect. The lox bagel with salmon, the eggs, the grandma style pancakes. OMG! In my time of being in Florence I was having breakfast here literally everyday.

If you’ve been in Italy and are craving an American style breakfast, this is the place for you! American coffee costs €2 with free refills and it actually tastes pretty true to drop coffee. The food portions are generous and could definitely be split if you’re not super hungry. This is definitely a good brunch place and will keep you full past lunch so you can explore the city! Prices are reasonable, my veggie omelette cost €9,5. I will say the “seasonal” veggies were kind of funny, zucchini, peppers, and carrots but the cheese more than made up for it. The potatoes were seasoned quite nicely and there are ketchup packets available for the table. The English breakfast was hearty and no one in our table finished their English breakfast plate fully. The French toast was actually quite the star, it’s made with multi grain bread which tempera the sweetness and gives it a nice balance of hearty with sweet. The servers speak great English and come around often. They do not take reservations on the weekend, but if you come before 11 I think you have a good chance of getting in. We walked in at 11:10 with 5 people and were seated with no issue but it did start to get busy after that. Overall, really love this place and will definitely be back if I come back to Florence, 10/10! As a note, they do allow splitting of checks.

Nice place. Friendly staff. A variety of food choices to choose from. Prices are ok. We took an avocado toast, a chicken waffle, the BLAT bagel and the LOADED bagel. 3 smoothies and an american coffee. We paid 58.5€. Before you go you should make a reservation because it is very crowded

The Rooster Serving American favorites like hamburger, bagels, and pancakes in American sizes 😀. Hubby and I were craving an American meal last Sunday and ordered a couple of caffè lattes, a stack of Grandma style pancakes, and chicken and waffles. Paid €32.50. It was a little past 11am on a first Sunday - a busy tourist day in Firenze - and the joint was full and a short line had formed. Luckily we were able to get a seat in 10 minutes. Pancakes 🥞 are not like the way we make them in the USA- they’re a little bit more like a cake 🍰 texture inside. The chicken had a thick crust but the chicken inside was moist and tasty. The waffles 🧇 were thick but were not as waffle-fragrant as I remember them to be in America. Not perfect, however, it was good enough that we have this restaurant in Italy!

This was a last minute find for brunch, and it was a great choice! The food was superb and the portions were very generous. The fresh squeezed juices were AMAZING! They don’t make reservations and it could be pretty packed as the day gets on. Make sure to have your entire party before being seated.

Nice American style cafe, for my personal preferences too junk of a food but very good quality products. I have Florentine Benedict which I really like, but their waffle crispy chicken specialty is very challenging to finish 😂 great drinks menu and in general a very nice place. I highly recommend to book a table in advance especially for brunches during weekends :)

I cant imagine there is a better breakfast then this one. After visiting this place, i want to breakfast for dinner. Nice people, refill coffee was not hot but the taste was good. Would come again, 3 times a day 🤣

Amazing breakfast with huge portions. We ordered the waffle and chicken, the chicken was very tender and yummy. We also ordered the avocado toast with feta cheese was so good. I’m definitely going back.

The service was spectacular! I’d really go again just for the friendliness of the staff and their welcoming vibes. Everyone was so kind and smiling all the time. I wish I know their names to mention here. The food is also good and tasted fresh. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. They also have refilled our cups with black coffee more than once, which is very generous!

Nice place. The loaded sandwich was ok, too many leaves inside, without any spread. The avocado toast was fine, nothing special. The fresh orange juice was luck of flavours. The service is good though! We received a free of charge iced latte which was very nice (:

Hands down the best brunch I ever had! 💜 The queue was a little long but moved really quick so the maximum waiting time was nearly 30 minutes! Definitely Recommend : A drink called Tropical Thunder (has an amazing after taste of Basil) English Breakfast, to which the Bacon was cooked to perfection!

All the staff are lovely. Was seated within 10mins or so but then they weren’t taking food orders for a bit (I assume to let the kitchen catch up). Luckily they did take drinks orders so could have that while I waited. A much longer stay than I had anticipated but I wasn’t in a hurry. Pancakes were nice but not amazing. It seems they used to do a vegan pancake batter but it had been crossed out in the menu 😔

The staff is polite which is the most important for me. We had our drinks which were super tasty (excellent job barman! hi5) and we also ordered an avocado toast(the rooster version) but i was expecting it a bit different, i mean tastier. I will definitely go back though to have a brunch and taste more foods. Because the atmosphere of the bar is amazing ! I really liked it and i recommend it for sure if you are in the area !

We went here for breakfast after seeing the great reviews. The plates were large and tasty, but unfortunately we left with a bad feeling as two of us got an upset stomach afterwards for the whole day. We think it was the omelet as the others were fine. Service was fast and there is a queu outside when you come in the morning. All in all not sure if we will come back.

Excellent place to start your day in Firenze with a complete breakfast or brunch! They have a huge variety of bagels and pancakes, with fresh products and are really enjoyable. The staff is also very charming! I strongly recommend stopping by.

Today was our first non scheduled day, and what a delight when we spontaneously stopped in at 1pm (13:00). We had in mind late breakfast/brunch. We were greeted and seated in five minutes. Nice, clean looking customers. We had fresh OJ, a smoothie, Eggs Benedict, french toast, and a side of bacon. Felt like home with an Italian twist. I recommend.
