I was looking for a cool place to have breakfast in Florence, and I was very disappointed with the options. I felt like most of the places were touristy and offered very average food. I had been to a few places in Los Angeles that were really cool and had great food, so I was hoping to find something similar in Florence. On my last day in Florence, I came across this place and the food looked good, so I decided to give it a try. There was a wait, but I was glad I waited. This was by far the best breakfast I had in Italy. They brought flavor to the great food quality in Italy, which was a great combination. We had the cappuccino, egg and bacon benedict, strawberry pistachio pancake, and the pistachio beraka. The food was beautifully prepared, and the taste was definitely up to par with the presentation. The pancake was the best I've ever had, and the benedict was also amazing. The beraka was great as well. They have been able to put a modern flavor twist to traditional food, and that's what I love and look for. The service was very good, especially for Italian standards. The server was honest and said that the servings were large, so I ended up not ordering extra food, which I hate to do. The cappuccino was very good, and I personally like a fuller-body roast. Overall, I was very impressed with this place. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast in Florence. Ratings: Food: 5/5 Coffee: 4/5 Pastry: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Specifics: The pancake was light and fluffy, and the pistachio flavor was perfectly balanced. The benedict was rich and creamy, and the bacon was perfectly cooked. The beraka was sweet and savory, and the pistachio flavor was delicious. The cappuccino was strong and flavorful, and the milk was perfectly steamed. Overall Thoughts: I was very impressed with this place. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast in Florence.

We had an absolute wonderful time + incredible meal. Christina + Joy were so hospitable and kind. We arrived with a crew (4 adults + 3 babes under 4) - they were so helpful + found a spot for us after a short wait. We ordered coffee, drinks, and a handful of dishes each absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend the pancakes, cinnamon rolls, and tacos😍

A bakery/brunch spot fantastic food, tacos, homemade carrot cake they even make their own soda! Seems to be mostly students, but a great place to pop in for a quick breakfast or brunch. We had the Carnitas tacos and the carrot cake did not disappoint. Decent prices.

BEST BREAKFAST we had in all of Italy - Perhaps ever, anywhere I've been. Plate presentation was superb... They obviously take pride in their food! SUPER attentive, FRIENDLY service. The French toast was hands-down the best I've EVER had, no joke. I would come back to Florence just for this. ❤️🤤 DO NOT MISS THE CINNAMON ROLL 🤤🤤

The local is buzzing with aliveness in an bright environment. The service is good and the staff is kind and ready to help you in every moment. But I think the most remarkable value is the attention to details, both culinary and on the beverage part. Their bakery products are absolutely amazing starting with the cinnamon rolls which are soft and puffy and spices with a lot of cinnamon that gives the a great texture. Definitely a must visit place to have breakfast and to enjoy an incredible atmosphere. Nice job!

Breakfast/brunch place with American style options. They have a great variety of options. And they are very delicious. I chose breakfast bagel, and was very good. Desserts were also amazing.

Excellent place for brunch! Food was great, and the coffee (both filter and flat white) was the best we’ve had in Florence. Our waitress Emma deserves an extra mention for great service!

We visited Florence for one day during our 7 week trip around Europe. We are 5.5 wks into our trip and our 12 year old was missing a good old Aussie breakfast. She found this place on Google and sent us the link not telling us it was Australian inspired. It definitely hit the spot and gave us a taste of home until we return in 1.5 wks! We have loved our European experience but little tastes from home are special as well. Staff were friendly as well and did not rush us out even though lunch had finished! Thank you!

My friends and I spent a few days in Florence last week and luckily stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. We all loved the coffee and the food was phenomenal! I was able to get the strawberry ricotta pancakes with pistachios which were so delicious. I loved the cappuccinos as well. We also had some of their plain croissants which were so buttery and flaky. The other members if our group also enjoyed the avocado toast and the eggs with nduja sausage. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone!

Melaleuca is one of my favorite spots in Florence! Besides the welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service, the food is outstanding! The breakfast/brunch options are delicious - my favorites included the pancakes, lemon loaf and the cinnamon roll! It's the perfect place to grab a quick and sweet bite to eat before heading off to explore Florence!

Best cinnamon buns we’ve ever had! The pancakes were also great — not too sweet like most pancakes cakes. Had breakfast here two mornings in a row because the food was so good and the service was great.

Cute airy bistrot! My breakfast poached were perfectly cooked but the sourdough bread had too much olive oil in my opinion on Turkey sausage wasn’t my favorite. However, cold brew was great! Orange peel was a new experience for me and added a lovely scent.

You have to queue for a table, but there is a reason for that, and it's a lovely place to queue, overlooking the River Arno. The brunches are amazing, lots of food and really nicely prepared and presented. Don't be fooled into thinking that it's expensive to add things, you get a lot of food for your money! Great friendly service, great tasting fresh food, great coffee. Good prices for the location too.

Had a quick visit the other day and absolutely loved it! First of all, LOVED that they heated up the cinnamon roll -made it 10 times better. The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming as well, a great place to work/study. Would love to go back and try their menu out!

Definitely a must for any specialty coffee lover in Florence!! €2.50 for one of the nicest flat whites I’ve had in a long time. Super creamy single origin El Salvador with a flavour profile which was only enhanced by the milk. Would’ve gladly paid double for the coffee. Had a Kenyan pour over filter too which had a delicate body with a hint of citrus and floral notes. The owner was super kind and friendly and the place had a really friendly atmosphere. I would spend my day there if I had the chance. But don’t take my word for it, visit and experience it for yourself.

Definitely worth the line. Maybe I was starving, hot, and tired but this place was my favorite spot to eat at during my visit to this city. This place appeals to travelers and natives alike (an Italian take on western brunch) , the delicious menu is hard to beat. You will spend a pretty penny here but for the experience I will say it is very worth it. It got pretty busy but the staff know how to hustle! Excellent job! They can speak English.

What a delightful little Bistro! We stopped here for breakfast. I had the poached eggs with sausage and my wife had an avocado dish called Green Goddess. Both were delicious and so was the coffee. We bought cinnamon rolls to go and they were excellent too. The staff were all smiling, helpful and chatty. I would highly recommend a visit here.

Nice place, with tasty Eggs Benedict. There was a waiting list when I got here but I got the table pretty fast. Americano seemed to be way too strong for my taste and the bun of the Eggs Benedict was with a very hard crust, way too hard to slice! if you decide to dine in, I suggest you sit outside, because it's too warm and crowded inside. Expensive.

The cakes are incredible. The cheesecake with passionfruit is the best I’ve ever tried! I love their specialty coffee. You will never go wrong choosing this place. The only thing that I ask is to close later 🙏🏻

Lovely location next to the Arno river, this cafe boasts excellent coffee and baked goods. Their breakfast sandwich on a NY-style bagel with local sausage and harissa is also worth checking out.

Amazing coffee, the only place I have found to do Aussie style oat milk in Italy! I’ve had it 3 days in a row. Food was delicious and staff were super friendly & accommodating. Wish I’d taken pictures of the food but was too hungry. Highly recommend the cinnamon scroll, sheer perfection.

Excellent food (pea fritters and scrambled eggs). Excellent coffee (double espresso and cappuccino). Excellent service (Chloe and team). Excellent location (on the River). The staff were incredibly helpful, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you again and see you next time we’re in Florence.

Hands down best brunch place I ever sampled. During our 5 day trip this place was the one we came for brunch or breakfast again and again. Everything is so delicious from the bread, moist and divine cinnamon roll to the eggs they use which have n incredible color to the self made almod milk! Thank you for appreciating good food! This is not a place to miss right by the river Arno!

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
