We had an excellent dinner at the Osteria II Basilico. Nicely decorated, excellent food, and friendly staff. Far enough from the main tourist areas that you don’t get overcharged and you get good service. The steak is excellent along with the lasagna.

Absolutely Loved the food and the personable staff. Met Cris who made me feel like home and offered me really great advise on the best local food. I am not keen on desserts but oh man, Cris and team offered me a complimentary tiramisu - which is by far the best I have had. I am going here again, worth a try.

Google needs more than 5 stars for this place. Great service, menu has great variety, food is fresh, substantial and beyond delicious. If I worked at this restaurant, I'd eat here every day and LOVE IT!!

Loved this place. The bread was delicious- I'd come back just to have the bread, lol. I ordered the chicken cutlet which wad flavorful and they were nice enough to substitute the fries for spinach since I'm trying to eat healthy. Next time I want to try one of their pizza or perhaps a pasta.

Located on a busy road in Florence. We had a mixture of main courses and pizza between us. The tagliata, lasagna and risotto were all very good but the pizzas were not great. Although the base was tasty the toppings were way too wet. A 4 cheese pizza was just swimming in liquid cheese which just ran off the base when picked up . Pizzas were abandoned after a couple of slices.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff at all time. I mentioned a little bit about server Stiliano. He can easily support a conversation, attentive and pleasant. For food, I recommend trying a Florentine steak with a bottle of red wine, of course.

This restaurant was a favourite of mine in my visit so much so that I ate here 3 times and brought friends, everything was amazing from start to finish, the wine selection was also amazing, all the team are very knowledgeable and super friendly! The chef was amazing to and also super friendly and very nice to talk to, as I said I ate here several times and was constantly impressed, I will let the pictures speak for them selves!!! We had been looking for risotto since Rome. This place delivered! This was the best meal we have had since arriving in Italy. And the bread that was served before the meal was amazing! We had both risotto dishes (mushroom and shrimp with leek and lemon) and they were fantastic. The server was incredibly nice and the atmosphere was charming. Beautiful food and service! We came two nights in a row as we wanted to try the pasta which was delicious! It was lovely watching the chefs cook the food! We also ordered tiramisu which was amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant out of the peak areas!

We went for dinner last week in a group of four. It's a nice place and the pizza was very tasty. The service was great, the waiter wasn't just friendly and professional, but very cheerful and really made us enjoy our evening.

Very reasonably priced and delicious warm authentic Italian food served by the friendly staff. A good choice of menu for everyone. Even for the little fuzzy eaters there are options here. Super friendly staff. We entered there because of the friendly way they greeted us when we were roaming around to find a good spot for dinner. We won't forget this place and wish them good luck.

We had a great dinner here. The minestrone soup was delicious and the bread that came with it was divine—soft and fluffy with a nice crust. My family enjoyed the gnocchi with pesto. It may be a little salty for some, but you don’t have to take the entirety of the generous pool of pesto in the dish. Overall, a very satisfying dinner, although it was slightly let down by the tiramisu, which was marred by the unnecessary artificial chocolate syrup on top. Despite that, this restaurant still gets my recommendation.

We thought this was a very nice little restaurant near our hotel. Very tasty dishes all round, friendly service and good value. Don’t walk past it.

What an amazing place, simple menu filled with local cuisine to the brim, friendly staff who definitely go the extra mile/smile. Random venue for my Mum’s birthday celebration, good vibes, large portions, great tastes…what a night!! Highly recommended!!! Grazie mille per tutti!!

The best dinner I have had on our vacation through Venice and Lake Como and Florence. The gnocchi with sausage and Gorgonzola was unreal! All others in our group said it was there best meal yet that ordered different things. So happy to have found this place near where we were staying and had no idea what a treat we were about to have!

Deserve way higher than 4.6 on Google! i’ve been to italy many times and this is by far the best place i’ve eaten, the prawn risotto is beautiful and the antipasto is delicious! i’m going to miss it when i’m back home in England! the Staff are really friendly and attentive, we also love that we can see the two chefs cooking 🥰 this place even converted my mum who hates tiramisu into loving their tiramisu when i made her try some of mine, couldn’t rate it high enough 🖤 the most welcoming people!! we will miss you and see you next year!
