It was a tremendous experience staying at Hotel Calimala West in Florence. The hotel's location is perfect, walking distance of Florence's top attractions. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. It is worth noting that the breakfast options at this hotel are top notch. I was very impressed with the staff and service, which was very friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to assist with any questions or requests. I truly recommend staying at the hotel calimala west since it offers great location, spacious rooms, flexible breakfast options, and excellent service to make it one of the best stays ever. I can't wait to return.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and really loved the breakfast included service. The balcony (upstairs view - you can see the Bell tower with Firenze scenery) seat with breakfast self-served every morning. We’d never forget! Definitely recommend to stay if you are in honeymoon. :)

The location of this hotel is perfect for staying at the center of Florence. The rooms are spectacular even though it's a little bit small (the 17m^2 one). But still, it's give you great vibes. The front desk helped me with couple of issues I faced during my stay in Italy, they are very helpful and humble. Thanks Calimala!

Great location and very nice hotel. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, but a bit dark. They have a great vibe though. This hotel’s location is phenomenal in the centre of everything. We did experience the smell some guests complained of, but only around the elevator so no issues in the room or general areas. Would stay again!

Hotel accommodations were comfortable, modern and clean. Great location, walking distance to most popular landmarks and restaurants. Customer service was superb and they surely strive for excellence. The manager left a handwritten welcome note in our hotel room. Both rooms were ready early and we were able to do an early check-in. They have a roof top with great views and it is fantastic to go at night to drink regional wine and appreciate the view.

Amazing place on a wonderful location in the middle of historical Florence. The room was stylish, beautiful design, comfortable, extremely clean. We stayed 2 nights over the weekend - the service was really good throughout our stay. Breakfast is not to be missed! Fresh, tasty - with wonderful service from the girls that worked there. Coffee to order was excellent. The location can't be better - you're literally in the middle of everything. It is so central that you always pass by it when sightseeing so you can go up to the room to leave your shopping bags or relax for 20 minutes before continuing exploring! Probably the best boutique hotel in Florence! We had a great time

This hotel is so beautiful! My husband and I only had one day to spend in Florence and the location was perfect for exploring. We had been traveling Italy with our backpacking backpacks for a month and when we walked in we were a little embarrassed because the hotel was much nicer than I was expecting, however the front desk made us feel so welcome (and even took our backpacks up to our room). The room is beautiful and the minibar is amazing. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence.

Would be all five stars except for the sewer gas smell in the stairwell and elevator during our 3 night stay in November of 2022. Hopefully this was temporary. The staff was friendly, rooms were nice. Location is perfect. Price was a good value.

Had a great stay in this new and nice hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar is beautiful and had a good panoramic view of the city. Breakfast was excellent! Good location with shopping streets and restaurants everywhere. Nearby walking distance to duomo. Highly recommended and will definitely come back to this hotel.

Me and my husband stayed as part of a group visiting Florence for a wedding! It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to in my life. Everything was beautiful & clean, the rooms were unique & the breakfast each morning was perfect! Location was great too, walkable to everything we wanted to do. Will be back!

Great hotel. Very modern and unique, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was very easy to get to places from. We loved it here. The only con is that the noise from the street could be heard from our room. We found if we double checked the window was closed at night it was much better!

The staff was very accommodating when I flight was cancelled last minute and made quick arrangements for me to come back and stay one more night. This hotel is a definite 5-star hotel!!! From the location, luxury, staff, etc. it ticks all boxes! Not only were the rooms a nice size and the locations perfect, what made this hotel even more was the staff! They were pleasant ALWAYS, helpful ALWAYS and their recommendations were spot on!! Mario and Lorenzo were the best giving us excellent dining recommendations (even just for a fast great pizza) and perfect directions to other destinations. They were always concerned if we needed anything and were more than eager to always help out. I travelled with my family of 7 ranging in ages and they always seemed to find the perfect things for us to do and see so that everyone was happy. Totally recommend this hotel!!! Cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service and 5-10 minutes max to everything in Florence. The decor was amazing like a work of art. We were on the second floor across the street from a market but with the windows closed it was remarkably quiet. The staff was very friendly. The rooftop bar was so beautiful at sunset and so fun, not pretentious. We would stay again!

This hotel was great! We booked it last minute during our honeymoon and really had a great time here. The room was very clean and comfortable and the people at the desk were extremely nice. The rooftop bar/restaurant is amazing with great views - We never had trouble getting a table. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Florence

Beautiful hotel in a prime Florence location. The rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. Shower was big with perfect water pressure and beds were comfortable. The staff are very hospitable, you feel very taken care of the moment you walk in. Also the rooftop bar has the most beautiful views of Florence, highly recommend dining there to watch the sunset

I highly recommend Hotel Calimala! Stayed here for a total of 10 days and had a great experience. The staff members members were friendly, accommodating and helpful all the way throughout my entire stay. Was even surprised with a bottle of wine after a long day of attending a workshop. The location is great and walking distance to the major attractions. They have a great rooftop that serves an excellent breakfast buffet and dinner. I would not hesitate to come back again!

The location, rooms, food, views were all 5 star. The staff/team was fantastic! Everyone at the hotel treated us great. Our daughter got married in Florence and we used the Calimala as home base. The wedding party/guests (18 rooms ) all stayed at the Calimala and and everyone so happy. The Front Desk was so helpful with last minute printing requirements for the wedding. The breakfast team made the best cappuccinos! Would definitely recommend the Calimala to everyone visiting Florence!!

Amazing hotel, one of the nicest I’ve seen . Very high ceiling and attention to detail in all aspects of the room. Best location in all of Florence. Charming. Stylish, good service , good location. Very nice rooftop. Only comment would be that there is a lot of noise during the night from people in the streets but nevertheless I will definitely be returning here! LOVE! 10/10

Best hotel in town. Their staff makes me feel home every time I stay in their rooms. Remarkable, efficient, awesome. Every single time. On top of that, their rooftop is just wow.

Our family had 2 rooms for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Calimala. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and roomy for a city like Florence. The breakfast on the top floor in the mornings was very nice. A selection of breads, croissants, meats, cheeses, and fruit, or yogurt. Everything was lovely. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street. The bathrooms were spacious and very nice. Great shower! The location was convenient, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to. The only downside is, there is a bit of street noise at night. But, it is a city, so we didn’t care. But we did hear a few people on the streets at night and outdoor music.

This hotel is absolutely incredible. The location is ideal, very close to all the beautiful historic places of downtown Florence, the old market is right outside! The room is gorgeous, perfect mix of modern and historic old - the shower is to die for. It will be hard to leave your room. But the absolute best thing about Hotel Calimala is the top notch service of ALL hotel employees - they will accommodate anything you need and always very kind and with a genuine smile on their faces.

5-Star Hotel with 2-Star prices! Everything from the vibe, staff, modernity and fresh approach is perfect. The outside of the hotel is gorgeous too, and does not bely what lies inside. But the over the top piece is quite literally on top, with an amazing rooftop terrace giving multiple levels of incredible views. Hotel Calimala is everything one could hope for in a luxury, hip stay.

The website undersold the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel had great interior, very clean and comfortable beds. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Their check in and out process was also quick and easy. Would happily stay again.

The best stay at Florence!!! Fantastic and amazing hotel! One of the best that I’ve stayed. Best spot in the city, at the center and near by foot to everywhere!! the room was elegant with design furniture and the bed very comfortable with soft linen! the bathroom was very big with all the amenities. everything was very clean and very shine!! I liked this so much. the cleanliness is very important at the hotels. now I have to say many thanks to the girls and the guys at the reception, was very polite and smiley and make our stay fantastic. one of the best is that we arrive there by car and they do everything that need for this. they call to a near garage to take there our car and bring back when we need it (daily charge 25 euros, parking in the center is not allowed) so final was one of the best stays and I hope to visit this hotel again!!

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location of it could not be better and very convenient to walk anywhere around Florence. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the rooms were probably the best I've had in Florence. They were well equipped, extra high ceilings, exposed stone, funky decor and amazing bathrooms. I've travelled to Florence a few times before and never stayed someplace bad, but this is the new hotel of choice for me there. I wouldn't even bother looking for somewhere else. Really enjoyed my time here and will definitely stay again.
