We loved this hotel. Beautiful room, perfect location, delicious breakfast, exceptionally helpful and lovely staff. There are also beautiful sitting rooms and garden where you can sit and have tea, coffee, wine, cake etc. Couldn't have been a nicer stay.

Good location, beautiful décor Stayed for two nights and enjoyed the central location and quiet environment. Buffet breakfast was ok (cold buffet) and a free minibar is included with th room. Air-conditioning did struggle to cool the room making it a bit stuffy at night. Staff could be a little more attentive (they offer prosecco at 7:30pm but despite sitting in the garden this was never offered to us). Overall, very clean and comfortable room in Florence.

We stayed here for one night and found it to be really lovely. The building used to be the home (palace) of a wealthy family in Florence, and management has done an excellent job preserving the decor and feel. The interior is gorgeous, with towering ceilings and amazing detail. The hotel is quiet and feels more like staying in a bed and breakfast. There is a concierge on the second floor where the rooms are to provide quick assistance if you need anything. The breakfast included was pretty good and you’re able to enjoy it in a beautiful garden courtyard just steps from your room. Highlights: location is incredible - central to everything you’d be interested to see in the city, safety - there is a main gate which closes at 11 pm and requires a code, as well as interior locking doors that require a separate code, rooms - we chose a basic room, and it was gorgeous and came with a large bathroom (shower + jacuzzi), complementary wine and a unique view To consider: this isn’t a chain hotel, so don’t expect amenities like a gym, pool etc., but really you don’t need these things in Florence - plenty of walking to do!

Ive been to this lovely hotel 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years. Always a pleasure to have a peaceful breakfast in the garden. Kind and friendly staff operate in an elegant space with prime time location. A unique experience!

Just got here after traveling all day and as soon as I got into the shower I started to notice hair everywhere and in the bed. I figured the cleaning lady didn't clean very good but then we notice a used wash mouth cup on the sink so clearly they never cleaned after the last people. Regret coming here.

If you’re looking to experience what it is like living in a palace this hotel is a must to stay . Expectantly beautiful with huge rooms and your own lounge surrounded by a beautiful garden area. Customer service and location is exceptional. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again

Truly felt like staying in an Italian palace. Perfect for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Alcova junior suite, which had the most beautiful frescoes on the ceiling and the largest soaking tub I had ever seen. Service was top-notch, and breakfast in the garden was both gorgeous and extremely tasty. Location was excellent in central Florence by the train station. It did get hot in July, with the A/C on max it was still warm, but that's expected in an old European hotel. Overall it was a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone.

I had a terrible experience when I went to checked in my room. There were a lot of hair on the shower floor. I laid down on the bed and found two hairs on bed sheets. I found one cup dirty on the top of the sink. The door room could not be locked. I called the front desk and he told me the housekeeper will come tomorrow to clean. I asked him if I can have another room. He said he does not have any room. I had to keep a chair back of my door because I could not lock the door.

Beautiful room, building and great location . The breakfast was delicious especially the cake . Unprofessional housekeeper and really bad and rude behavior .

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The room was unique, charming, comfortable, and luxurious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Alessia. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience, thank you!

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel and would gladly return if visiting the region again. The room (Junior Suite King) was very spacious and offered unique detailed touches. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast options. Additionally, the location is very central, with most places I wanted to explore within a short walk. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with a surprising amount of room space.

Superb hotel near everything downtown Florence. Our room was really special and huge, something rare to this city. All extremely clean and renewed, keeping the old-fashioned decor of this palace. The service is also something amazing, with all the staff being very kind and speaking multiple languages. A special mention of the magnificent breakfast.

Absolutely loved this place. This will be the only place I ever stay when I come back to Florence. Thank you for such awesome staff, breakfast and great rooms.

We booked the appartment for 3 nights. Staff was really friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was really tasty. Beware if mosquitos like you, they bite you a lot on the outdoor garden at around 5 in the afternoon. Very conveniently located near the train station Dumo. The room was very nice and spacious. It comes with a kitchenette which is a plus. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because one, the master bedroom bed was hard and two, the AC can get very chilly in the living room. A hidden gem in Florence!

A small paradise in the heart of the city!! The Palazzo is beautiful, the location is like an oasis in the middle of the old town but far away from the crowds of tourists. The staff is lovely and the hole Palazzo just like out of another time. We started our honeymoon at the Palazzo and couldn’t started better. Highly recommended!!

Great Location, the service, whether in their beautiful garden or the room was great. The Palazzo itself is exceptionally charming... I will stay again there for sure... I didn't give them the Full 5 only cause I thought they could have done a bit better in the refurbishment...

We had the perfect stay at The Palazzo di Camugliano. The rooms were quiet, temperature-controlled (which was a godsend during the heatwave), and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and the back terrace was so peaceful and lovely. If I’d spent more time in Florence, I think I could spend hours out there reading a book. The hotel staff was also incredibly kind of helpful. We can’t wait to come back for another stay!

The ultimate Florence hotel. This place is small (only a handful of rooms) and was once an old villa now turned boutique hotel. What I love most about this place is the stunning hanging garden in the back where you can sit and have breakfast, read a book or enjoy a drink. The staff is also five star. I had several requests they were able to fill and did so quickly and efficiently. They are also very kind and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay perfect. The breakfast here was also fantastic! This hotel is quiet and somewhat secluded down a lovely alley. I loved it! Can't say enough great things about it.

Amazing staff who are so kind and helpful. They looked after my parents who stayed a few months after I visited the palazzo. We can't wait to go back again! Thank you to Federica and team! We love the Rosso room! :)
