We
stayed
here
for
one
night
and
found
it
to
be
really
lovely.
The
building
used
to
be
the
home
(palace)
of
a
wealthy
family
in
Florence,
and
management
has
done
an
excellent
job
preserving
the
decor
and
feel.
The
interior
is
gorgeous,
with
towering
ceilings
and
amazing
detail.
The
hotel
is
quiet
and
feels
more
like
staying
in
a
bed
and
breakfast.
There
is
a
concierge
on
the
second
floor
where
the
rooms
are
to
provide
quick
assistance
if
you
need
anything.
The
breakfast
included
was
pretty
good
and
you’re
able
to
enjoy
it
in
a
beautiful
garden
courtyard
just
steps
from
your
room.
Highlights:
location
is
incredible
-
central
to
everything
you’d
be
interested
to
see
in
the
city,
safety
-
there
is
a
main
gate
which
closes
at
11
pm
and
requires
a
code,
as
well
as
interior
locking
doors
that
require
a
separate
code,
rooms
-
we
chose
a
basic
room,
and
it
was
gorgeous
and
came
with
a
large
bathroom
(shower
+
jacuzzi),
complementary
wine
and
a
unique
view
To
consider:
this
isn’t
a
chain
hotel,
so
don’t
expect
amenities
like
a
gym,
pool
etc.,
but
really
you
don’t
need
these
things
in
Florence
-
plenty
of
walking
to
do!
