A much more smaller outdoor market with less vendors selling leather goods in comparison to Mercato San Lorenzo. Prices here are a little higher, too, maybe it’s the quality here is better.

Fun for everyone especially the kids! Put a coin in his mouth and try to avoid the crowds shopping in kiosks surrounding it. No you can't do that latter so just tolerate it!

Whether or not you end up buying any of the leather goods (bags, belts, jackets) in this market, in my opinion it is worth going just to breathe in that amazing smell of leather. I ended up getting a couple of belts of nice Italian leather. They'll haggle with you but I didn't push too hard. At one end of the market, there is a bronze boar (though it's a replica of the original by Pietro Tacca) where tourists rub its nose to ensure they come back to Florence. (Use hand sanitizer!)

While the real David is not here (right now, a replica is here because this is the original location where the David was created), this piazza is still a great place to visit. It's fountain and numerous statues are great!

This is a cool open-air market with plenty of leather and clothing to look over. Deals can be had if you can bargain well. It's also conveniently located next to a fantastic porchetta shop.

It’s fun to watch people rub the snout of the boar sitting imperiously at the front of the Mercato del Porcellino (well, it even has a market named after it!), then put a coin in its mouth and watch it slide down into the trough below. But as far as the market is concerned, don’t bother getting anything from here. Leather goods are mass-produced and most likely either faux leather or the cheapest grade of leather while the souvenirs were more expensive here as well.

Covered market between Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Della Repubblica with a number of vendors selling inexpensive Florentine leather goods and some textiles . There are also a couple of panino vendors and a couple of cheap souvenir vendors. If you are looking for an inexpensive leather item which is not made of the most high-quality leather, you can get something here at a good price. For me the main attraction was the loggia itself, built with small alcoves with statues of famous Florentines. Each of the outer corners of the loggia has places for statues, but not all are occupied. Interesting little bit of history covering a bustling small market.

You can find different designs of Italian leather (Florence) in this market. Variety of models, products and prices. It seems the leather is Italian but it may make the product in Italy or somewhere else like China. You may feel it in the prices.

Nice place to buy small presents. Does not seem like many of the items are high quality.

Cute little market, mainly leather item, and be ready to negotiate the price... just next to one of the best street food , if you are there you need to try the "panino al lampredotto"!

Great place to bargain shop for varied leather goods. Everything you could imagine in different styles colors. The boar seemed to be amusing for several visiting the market. This is a hidden gem if you are looking for a special leather item.

Some decent items. At the same time some items are a rip off! Some of the items marketed as leather were definitely not leather. Some of the prices are unreasonable and some of the items are ridiculously marked up. Really difficult to find the items that are a good deal and those inflated for no good reason other than location.

Gorgeous genuine leather stalls. No pushy vendors which makes a nice browsing experience.

Small market and small shops have the same stuff. However the shop keepers are not pushy and respectful which is nice.

Love this little market as it has a lot of the things you would find at Mercato Centrale but merchants are less aggressive.

About 20 odd stalls selling leather products (belts, wallets, hand bags, and small items) under an interesting old building. Seems to target tourists. Worth browsing around although i can't differentiate between the quality.

Small and friendly . Nice music and and a joyful owner. One of the very few places where they offered us a free snack with our wine ( those salty biscuits were delicious)

Great Florence made leather products. Wide range of selection. Reasonable prices, some vendors will negotiate. Credit cards might be a few points higher. No pressure, friendly service.

Cheap. Fake leather goods. Most items are made in China but labeled "Made in Italy". Original tags ripped off. Fake Cashmere.

So many great leather goods at excellent price! Not all goods are made equally so carefully check for quality as there are so many sellers selling very similar items. Check for seams, cut, lining, etc. Also, if you pay cash or buy more than one item, ask for a discount. They usually give you a discount for paying cash.

Great sandwich on the go the pork pack so much flavor it can stand on its own. A bit of mustard would have been a nice touch, but when in Rome...

My wife and I often travel to Pietrasanta to enjoy the beach. We always stop here for a delicious roasted pork sandwich. Highly recommend!
