It's only been open a year! The Pinocchio museum is a must if you have children! I took my 3 year old, we did the treasure hunt and got a little prize at the end! Anna was a lovely host she told us the history of the story Pinocchio, there's also a new print story of Pinocchio (printed in English) there is also colouring and a silence cartoon up at the back if the museum to keep the children occupied, they can draw and colour their own version of Pinocchio. there is also a toilet! Had a lovely time, it's been hard finding child friendly places, this was brilliant and occupied my child for 90 mins

This museum was a little hidden gem tucked away near the cathedral. The operator did such a good job of explaining everything to my wife and I. He personally told us, in English, all about the history of Pinocchio and the toys inside of his shop. He was super friendly and the museum was worth every penny. We bought a couple of bookmarks to remind us of the experience later on. So glad we found this little place. Thank you!

(Translated by Google) Small museum well stocked with toys from the 1800s and 1900s. The section dedicated to Pinocchio is interesting. The tour of the museum, with an adjoining treasure hunt for children, lasts about 1 hour, given the location very close to the cathedral, it is definitely worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) A dip into the childhood past of those with white hair, and for the little ones the discovery of a world in which fantasy was the basis of their grandparents' games. A vast and beautiful collection of games that spans about a century from the mid-nineteenth century to the early 1960s. And a collection of goodies dedicated to the timeless wooden puppet.

Spent a relaxing, informative, and engaging hour or so at the Museo del Giocattolo e di Pinocchio. Anna, the woman who greeted me and told me about the museum, was a joy! She even let me practice my very poor Italian with her. Part of the fun of this Museo is the scavenger hunt you can do to receive a prize. It is a great activity for both adults and children and serves as a way to both focus your attention and expand your view of the many cases of vintage toys and books. The museum is extremely well laid out in a general chronological order that gives the visitor a good sense of how toys and toy-making changed and evolved with the addition of new materials, like metal and plastic. Don't forget to look up to enjoy the dollhouses and linger a bit to watch the fascinating video on the third level. Treat yourself (and your family) to this hidden treasure in Florence. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful little toy museum, focused on Pinocchio but also featuring vintage toys from early 20th century. Kids can enjoy the game of search :) Recommended for an hour or so rest from the hustle of central Firenze.

My children (8 & 10) visited and it was lovely. Anna, I believe working Friday 22JUL2022 was very friendly and helpful. The children did a scavenger hunt and we spent a good hour there just doing the activity. We would recommend as it's an interactive museum in a sense.

If you are in Florence with kids you shouldn't miss this superb museum! I was there with my 4 years old and she loves the treasure hunting. There are toys dating back to 1720!!! The stuff is incredibly nice, they love what they do! They gave us wonderful gift of Pinocchio paintings. Love it!

I live in Florence and I've been wanting to visit this museum for a while. I went on a Sunday with a friend, and I must say it's been such a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect the collection to be so rich and varied. The girl who works there briefly introduced us to the first area (dedicated to Pinocchio) and she was really nice and informative. I absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in the history of toys, childhoold and culture.

This is such a cute and neat museum, and really clever to include a treasure hunt so you really look at all the museum has to offer, and you get a little prize on completion. It's really enjoyable for kids and adults! You can draw your own Pinocchio at the end of the museum! Give it a visit!

Such a hidden gem. One of my favorite unexpected experiences in Florence. Doesn’t matter how old you are - make sure you do the scavenger hunt for a little prize and draw Pinocchio!!

(Translated by Google) An enchanted place where time has stopped in its most beautiful moments, the moments of the game. An amazing collection with beautiful and very rare pieces, many dedicated to Pinocchio. We needed a museum like this in Florence and with the attention that our Pinocchio deserves in his hometown.

(Translated by Google) It is a museum where the magic of the centuries makes its way through unique and incredible games: here you can not only find the collector's item but you can breathe in the History, that story of our grandparents that has now almost been lost .. A must visit, and a surprise Treasure Hunt for children!

(Translated by Google) I recommend this museum to all parents. It is a beautiful collection of old toys. They make the children do a "treasure hunt" and you can't imagine how much fun they have! The adults had a great time too. The staff is very friendly and super prepared to answer any questions. Without a doubt, in a city like Florence with so many museums for adults… children appreciate breaks in magical places like these. 5/5

We had the most beautiful time there and ended up spending much longer than we expected. The quality and maintenance of the place was amazing, the joyful activities like the scavenger hunt, drawing room, video story telling and make-your-own puppet were all such lovely surprises. The staff were incredible, such lovely souls who brightened up the space. Anyone can enjoy :)
