My wife and I were traveling with friends and wanted to make a quick stop in St. Augustine. We stayed at Lions and Lanterns for one night. What a wonderful experience we all had, the rooms were decorated in such a comforting manner. We stayed in the Fiel, we loved all the plants and cozy lighting. At the end of the night we sat out on the second floor patio and had cocktails and laughs talking about the day. Josie is very nice and friendly, we wished we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back and stay at L&L.

Absolutely so in love with the room, even more in love with the decor and all the plants!! The owner/host was so communicative, kind, and helpful. Everything was so comfortable and there were sweet little touches all over. (I particularly loved the green little cups) It was very conveniently located and easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to downtown! The neighborhood was stunning and made the walks even more enjoyable. Truly cannot wait to come back and I cannot recommend staying here enough!!

I travel a lot and always try to find nice unique hotels to stay in and I have to say this one has by far been one of the best experiences I’ve had with a hotel. The room was so clean and very well decorated. The decor in Firme was peaceful and warm and I appreciated the effort put in to make the room standout. The hospitality is was the best service I’ve had in a hotel room. They were so accommodating I stayed in the room with a family member and she went as far to put an air mattress in the room so we didn’t have to share a bed. the air mattress was made with 2 blankets and sheets. The outside of the hotel really has a classic Saint Augustine vibe and looks so nice it’s a really impressive. Couldn’t recommend a better stay in Saint Augustine.

We are local and wanted to spend two nights in town for the music festival. So thankful to find Lions and Lanterns (when searching hotels that at the time were charging an outlandish $800+ a night for this event). What a gem!! I could feel the love the owner poured into our room, in every cozy corner and sweet detail. She has a gift for both design and hospitality…the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and peaceful and so clearly furnished with the comfort of the guest in mind. Excellent communication and check in/check out service. Walkable to everything. Quiet. We will absolutely be back and I will also recommend to my out of town guests who want to have the best St. Augustine experience. Many thanks for a lovely weekend!!

Went to St Augustine for a quick try and picked this place last minute. And it was perfect. It surpassed my expectations. Room and decor are amazing. Independent access to your room and parking is included. Walking distance to the main attractions in the city. Owners also interacted with me via text and they were available. 10 out of 10. Will come back and I will recommend this place to friends and family.

My wife and I came here for a weekend getaway. We stayed in Pax and it was perfect. Cozy room with everything we could need and incredibly comfortable bed. We loved the vibe - romantic and relaxing. Fantastic location being so close to everything, but tucked into a quiet street. We come to St. Augustine once or twice a year and 100% will stay here again!

We had such a lovely stay at Lions and Lanterns! We stayed in Pax and it is a beautifully decorated room, you can tell great care went into designing it. Josie was an exceptional host who was warm and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants/bars in the area and responded to text messages very quickly. The location is walking distance from everything we wanted to do. Lions and Lanterns is the perfect place to stay for any occasion. Highly recommend it, we look forward to returning again some day!

Such a perfect little spot! We stayed in the Pax room for one night while visiting to see the holiday lights and everything was wonderful. The room looked just as beautiful as it does in the photos. From the decor, to the towels, to the coffee setup - so many small details that were very thoughtfully designed. The host (I believe I was communicating with Josie) was super responsive to my texts and incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute spot near downtown!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in St Augustine. Thank goodness we booked a room at Lions and Lanterns. It was absolutely perfect. The decor is warm and natural and so very cozy. The location is perfect for exploring the historic downtown. Parking is a huge plus and the host was amazing. We will definitely return to L & L again. We loved the room and the outdoor areas. If you are looking for an upscale inn this is your place. Thanks for a wonderful romantic weekend.

I have zero complaints about my stay here at L&L! First, the host was kind & considerate; she was able to give my wife and I a room last minute due to a canceled flight of ours. She kept in constant contact to ensure our stay was perfect. Everything about this experience was stress-less & a breeze. Secondly, the room was very warm & welcoming with a modern design & plenty of nature incorporated inside & out. The shower in our room felt like a Swedish/Japanese spa & the bed/pillows were incredibly COMFORTABLE!! And finally, this location is perfect! It's a 5-8m walk into the heart of St. Augustine. Going into town & respectfully stumbling back at the end of the night felt safe & quick lol I would highly recommend staying here 😁

One of the best choices I made on my trip to St. Augustine was staying at L&L. We were so excited to stay here after seeing all the pictures, but my expectations were exceeded when I walked in the door. We stayed at the Isabel and it’s simply gorgeous. The room is so cozy, spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Located in a perfect spot just a short walk to St George Street. I will recommend this place to anyone and look forward to my next stay. And thank you to the owner for being so accommodating to us! ♥️

We finally found the perfect place for us to stay! Location was quiet and away from the business of St. Augustine yet it is walkable to the historic district. Our room was very clean and decorated nicely. Coffee and Madelines were appreciated. Price was fair. Secure place to park. I honestly have no complaints. Definitely an A+!

The lions and lanterns is a wonderful place to stay! We have a great time staying there with our friends. The rooms are all different and special. The beds were so comfortable! The owners were so accommodating and just a text away. We could walked to everything! Would stay here again

We stayed at Lions and Lanterns for 5 nights and had a WONDERFUL experience! The room/bathroom was beautiful, super comfortable, had all of the necessities, and felt luxurious. We really appreciated the recommendations we were provided with after we booked/the day of check in; they did not disappoint! It was super convenient to be able to text Josie and get a quick response if we had a question or needed anything. There were lots of little conveniences such as an umbrella outside our room for rainy days, access to beach equipment, card games, etc. We wish all hotel/b&b stays could be this awesome!

We stayed in the Pax room for one night to see the holiday lights and it was so lovely and cozy! The website says it is the owner's favorite room and I can see why.The decor is beautiful and you can tell they've really put a lot of thought and care into making it special. There were two decks of relationship conversation cards which is a neat activity and adds to the romantic feel of the room. The location is on a quiet street and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The owner is so sweet and very accommodating. We will certainly be back.

We loved our time in the Castillo room! The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautifully designed and spacious with a lot of natural light. Josie was very accommodating and I appreciated her clear communication. To top it off, the location can't be beat and we're excited to be able to stay at Lions and Lanterns again!
