When we came here there was a 4.7 avg review, we had to try this place. First off we expected it to be a sushi Mexican fusion with a name like Sushi Mas. There were 3 of us and we ordered 4 rolls. All of us love sushi, however we couldn't finish these because they were just not good. I'll also say I'm not a fan of the new scan the QR code, order and pay here and pay your tip on the app before you receive any service. This attempt to replace servers but not have the fast casual experience, leaves me wanting a place to get more water but I have none, nor do I have someone to bring me more water.

Finally I found the right tuna poke. Everything that I like in one place. Fresh cubes of salmon or tuna, avocado and seaweed salad. What a blessing to eat fresh and light and feel satisfied. They say eat with joy even if it’s something sweet and don’t feel guilty. Today I put away my phone and ate with joy focusing only on details, aroma, taste. My perfect tuna poke in Aventura Crazy Poke.

I gave this place 3 stars purely because the Miso soup they charge 5 dollars for is barely half a measuring cup. It's just basic, run of the mill Miso that I've had at every Japanese restaurant, always in a larger portion, for a much cheaper price. There's literally nothing special about it and a complete rip-off for what they charge. I also order a make your own pole bowl, NEVER selected onions. I HATE ONIONS!!! Yet my bowl had onions in it. This part did not factor into my rating but hopefully the owner/manager sees it. I choose the Spicy Mayo sauce because it was the only one I had a slight idea what it might be. Most places call it "spicy mayo" even though it isn't. I knew I was taking a chance and unfortunately it is VERY spicy. Not their fault as spicy is in the name. However, there's NOTHING stating what each sauce is made of so I had to make a "best guess." They should include a description of what each sauce is made of, and a spice level indicator so customers (especially first-timers like myself) can make a better decision. If that information was available, even though I hadn't tried one before, I could have chosen a sauce less spicy. The flavor of the food is amazing and they can easily become a 5 star restaurant if they adjust the size/portion of the soup, pay attention to ordering details, and include descriptions and spice levels for their sauces. I'm not opposed to trying the poke bowl again (especially if they give better description of the sauces) but I'll NEVER order the soup again unless changes are made.

Absolutely delicious food. I love ordering process on the screen, so modern and you can see all photos of what you ordering. Alejo was a great server and helped us to choose best options.

The service is amazing. The food was delicious but I felt there something missing to the flavor but it was good. There is free water, so you don’t need to buy it unless you like alkaline water. The bao buns were amazing. A beautiful and chill atmosphere.

The place is located in a nice area and the atmosphere is nice whether you sit inside or out. There’s a parking garage with reasonable prices. We ordered poke bowls. The food felt fresh and it was really yummy, but unfortunately almost every single order got some wrong stuff in it and it took long time for us to get the order despite the place almost being empty. We expressed our concerns about the mix ups and one of the employees Diego professionally listened to what we had to stay and made the rest of our night enjoyable, so thank you for that! I believe this place can do a real good job with better communications with customers.

The woman who greeted us was nice enough. Was a bit pricey in my opinion for what we got. Took a while to get the food as well when only one other group was here and they already had their food. The gyoza were fine, you can definitely tell they were frozen and not home made. The noodles were excellent but the broth was very mediocre. The pork was tasty but had a lot of fat on it. Overall I wouldn't come back.

Food is extremely expensive, portions are very small (especially soup), and they charge extra for EVERYTHING (even the tofu in the miso soup). Taste was decent. Also, the secret or special (whatever it’s called) spicy sauce is EXTREMELY spicy and made my roll not enjoyable. There should’ve been an indication of the spice level (btw I’m Mexican and am used to spicy)

Vegan review: Very cute modern and casual spot. It is a self order type of place and the menu is not vegan friendly. (Non of the noodles are vegan and the veggie rolls have cream cheese and spicy mayo) but I asked for help customizing some rolls and Caio came to the rescue. He was super patient helpful and kind. Over all super fresh ingredients and it was delicious.

First time visiting Sushi MAS. Decided to go with the Tuna bowl and it was pretty good. flavor was on point and service was fast. Food portion was also fair. Definitely worth checking out. Enjoy!

Had a tough time parking, less than stellar interior and limited toppings... purchased two tuna poke bowls with a scoop of crab salad each; both of us had major stomach issues within a couple hours. Never going back...

Amazing delicious sushi very fresh and super clean restaurant! Kaio and Jimena always go out of their way for us and we eat there 2-3 times a week! Highly recommend

we ordered 4 Crazy Poke and it's in the Top 3(if not top 1)of the worst Poke I ever had. Tuna and salmon are cut so big, no taste at all. We were hungry for a hours and still nobody could finish the Poke because it's was so bad... We are leaving the hotel now to go eat something else at fastfood!

Order at a kiosk is convenient but takes forever to go through the entire menu if you didn’t look beforehand. The restaurant is clean and attractive but that’s where the good qualities end. I got the poke bowl with ahi tuna and shrimp. Both had a mushy texture and fell apart in my mouth in the most disgusting way. The mixed greens tasted unwashed, and they drowned everything in so much soy sauce that I couldn’t even eat the rice at the bottom of the bowl because it was swimming in liquid. Husband got the ramen was mediocre, nothing much to say about it. The eel/panko shrimp roll was again drowned in sauce and overly sweet. Overall not a great experience and left feeling unsatisfied.

Small place but good sushi! Once you walk in you’ll see a couple computers where you make your own orders even if is Dine in. We ordered a bunch of food everything was good, reasonable prices, around 30$ per person, food came out late but the server, Mili, was super nice. Coming back.

Sushi was extremely fresh and tasty. There are lots of tables for eating inside in a modern atmosphere. The fabulous hostess from Argentina was exceptionally helpful and friendly and a real asset to this restaurant. Take out is different ( the direction things are going) in that you select what you want on a computer screen, which the hostess taught all of us how to do. It did take more time than expected to get my order since it was not busy, but worth it.Nice large selection of fresh food!

Best poke in town has finally arrived to Aventura

Juli was super sweet and efficient really her hospitality. The food tasted scrumdillyyumyumapurrpurrr if I’m being totally honest would recommend the poke bowl 10/10.

I went there a few times, but this last time was the most special, Alejo served us, he’s super professional and kind with us, I will definitely come back because the food is delicious and now with Alejo's service, the Sushi Mas is even better. Thank you very much guys. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really chill vibe- food was good and would come back. I would most likely stick to not keeping my sauce on the side for the poke bowl- the rice was dry without it being incorporated. The yuzu sauce was on point though and so were the specialty teas. Alejo was our server and he was great as well.

Wow, I am in love Easily accessible even with a wheel chair Beware of parking, there isn’t many. You may need to park in a Parking garage But it’s like a sushi Chipotle And it’s really good too! The meal in the photo is called the Crazy bowl It was a lot and very fulfilling as well.

Sushi was yummy, particularly the Superstar roll. Took off a star because the meat in the beef bao was pretty tough and the spicy mayo was very vinegar-y so I ate the sushi without sauce. It was still good without sauce but I really love spicy mayo normally.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has reviews higher then a 2 star. I did stopped for Ramen and it was good but did the mistake of returning for Sushi for dinner. The best way to describe my experience, my food was equivalent to sushi from the grocery store. The place is clean with friendly staff but that’s the extent of it!

Last night I was with my friends and we came to Sushi Mas and it was the best service ever. Ximena helped us with everything and she was the sweetest person ever. Food was amazing! I recommend coming here it’s worth it.

Simple, no table service sushi restaurant. You get to order at a kiosk at the front. We ordered to go and they were quite fast. It is not a traditional Japanese place but rather a convenient place to order some sushi. They have some indoor seating but didn't notice if outdoor seating was available. The food was alright but found it a bit pricey.

Really good sushi. Poke bowl was fantastic, incredibly flavorful. Noticeably higher quality than similarly-priced sushi stores. Really enjoyed the decor and laid back vibe of the restaurant. Highly recommended.
