    Went for basking bulbs for my bearded dragon, and it was incredibly disappointing to see the poor selection they offered for reptiles. It wasn't a stock issue; it was a them issue.

    My nephew saved up his money to buy a hamster and we decided to go here. Best decision we made! The staff were super friendly and helpful! Definitely will be going again in the future.

    They are always super nice and helpful! They have so many great toys for play and enrichment. Great variety of food and treats and any other pet necessities. We love it here!

    It was easy to find what I needed in the Glen Carbon Petco store. The people were pleasant and wanted to know if I needed help. When I explained I knew what I wanted and where the cat litter was, they left me alone to do my shopping. Check out was easy with the cashier being very cheerful, asking if I needed anything else which I responded ‘no’.

    Got this gorgeous huge plecostomas for 30$ he would have been probably 75+ anywhere else. He was surrendered to them and I took him in. That's a 4 inch pleco above it to show you how big it is it's over a foot long. They had no bags to contain him so they gave me a XL critter keeper to put him in. Only downside of the whole thing was I got some super worms and like half were dead but I'm suspecting that's a warehouse thing not a store thing cause the guys in there were great.

    They signed me up for some kind of "rewards" program that ended up charging my credit card $10 a month....for a gerbil.... If I had caught it right away, oh well but it was 4 months before I noticed. I have no idea still what the $10 a month would have even been used for. It 100% feels like PetCo is ripping off customers with this one.

    At the Petco in Edwardsville dealt with a lady with the name of Ratchenla. SHE WAS SUPER!!!!!! Very helpful, cordial, polite and very knowledgeable. I'm a month off from writing this, but better late than never. My wife and I were there and she was helping us with needs for our 22 yo kitty!! I always go to Petco!!!

    I love Petco. Big parking lots, lol i drive an 18 wheeler. My boy needed some chow, a harness and retractable least. I got him the best food they got. Biggest bag too. Thanks Petco, nuthin but love from Milo and I.

    It was ok they didn't have the snail tank set up like usual I was hoping to buy a new freshwater snail or a small pleco but the selection was pretty slim customer service was great once I got to check out there was hardly anyone working in the store other than the cashier it seemed

    The staff was extremely nice and helpful, I got a little bit of contradictory information about some of the pets. But I think it was just lack of knowledge, they are still amazing :)

    My favorite pet store! They have everything you need for your fur babies and the helpful, friendly staff really seem to care about me and my pets. Plus they have the best rewards program!

    Was in there with a friend, they made a review and I will too. I can't believe the conditions the staff are going through. Morale is so low and the animals are taking the brunt of it. When you ask for help they sigh, no one is ever smiling. Not to mention I saw a young girls wheel chair get stuck on all the trash they had lying around. Do better. Grooming Salon is the only good part about this place.

    The employees were so extremely helpful assisting in getting food and heating lamp a terrarium for Frog & moss and food for Toad. Even suggested going to Tye Dyed Iguana for upgrade terrariums for them both. Also assisted with taking care of my felines. They even got me set back up with their rewards program since I forgot my information for the other one. I highly recommend this location for all your pet needs. Also gave me information on both amphibians since it is my first time having them.

    Andrew chose to close his register after I had been in his line for 5 minutes. So I had to move to the next line after people who had gotten in line after me. This ensure I am an only petsmart shopper from now on. Thanks Andrew, will not return to Petco anymore!

    This store has made great improvements in the last year. Keep up the good work! Rarely do I see the huge pallets and I’d say my success rate in finding items has gone from about 10% to more like 70%. And the staff is far better prepared to assist 👏🏼 OLD REVIEW: I’m sorry to say this store continues to be just atrocious. It doesn’t matter if their own app says an item is in stock. It’s most likely in one of a number of pallets that take up most of the main aisle so it is inaccessible. I don’t know if this is from a lack of employees or a lack of hours but either way this store has got to be losing money hand over fist from missed sales. It’s not worth the trip to perhaps find 1/4 of the items you’re looking for.
