I had a tour of this complex a few days ago with a friend looking for a place. I was pleasantly surprised with the property initially. The grounds appear well maintained, and the building exteriors have nice curb appeal. We met with Lamar, I believe he is one of the property managers. He was professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, I had lots of them, and was very thorough. The unit we viewed was very nice. This complex is one of the top on my friend's short list of potentials. The new management team has hit the ground running. Some ongoing issues my family faced were worked out immediately and that was a comfort in a tough time. As a longstanding tenant I was concerned with the change admittedly, but the new team is strong like the last with a fresh motivation for helping the tenants of the property. Sometimes change can be positive and this is one of those times.

I Recently toured these apartments, ive had my eye on them for a while, but they were i come restricted. The newly renovated apartments are very nice, with big walk in closets. Lamar was very helpful and provided me with alot of great information, but i don have one issue.. Base rent for a 1bed 1bath is Renovated apartments is almost 1600$ with no utilities included, and it tends to be really dark at night, hince there are no lights outside the door. I would most definitely considered moving in, but I’ll probably have to some OT to keep my bills paid, but another i really like about this place is they have flexibility with payments and a lot of payment help options with utilities and rent and thinks like that.

I’ve been living here for several years when I first moved here The property management was amazing Felisa and Fannie did an amazing job keeping everything up and handling concerns. Then the property took a turn for the worst when they hired Margaret and Dominique the property looked terrible and they never answered request to get my Maitenance request done I also heard complaints from my neighbors about how horrible it was for them. I am so happy they let go of both ladies and hired Lamar who is actually doing something! His first month as property manager I was able to get my request taking care of with no problem! I am back at ease living at Hickory Creek and I do recommend this community!

They still haven’t came to fix my sink after 1 year being here. Not to mention my water bill was 1000 dollars because the toilet was running. I had to pay the water company so they wouldn’t turn my water off. Also they still haven’t reimburse me after being here for a year. The communication is very poor, the new lady in the leasing office Yolanda is lazy and doesn’t follow up on anything. I can’t say the same thing about Lamar because since he started he been nothing but great to me. But Yolanda is a joke. Save your time and bread and rent elsewhere.

Lamar did a great job during my apartment showing. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the units and the community. I was able to view all the amenities included and grasp an understanding on what the renovated units will include when available . Awesome work Lamar!

The since of community is beautiful, the people who are long-term are friendly and I needed that, if the one little small item I requested was met this review would be a five. The staff are very friendly and kind, they haven't been rude ever. I would recommend these apartments and if they went condominium suitably priced I would consider. The reason the number wasn't a 10 on renewing is because I am hoping to relocate to a warmer climate.
