This is a beautiful and clean facility. Staff is very nice and friendly. However, I don't think the young men (juveniles) using the gym know the meaning of profanity. It is disheartening to hear the young men playing basketball refer to each other as, 'punk as- bit--', 'motherf----', or 'bit-as-nig---'. I walk around the track and use the bikes upstairs and this language is a constant. The sad thing is, it is coming from the very young juveniles (9 - 12 yrs old). Sooner or later, this language is going to result in fights. This is the reason why the basketball court at the former LA Fitness on Torrence has been shut down. I hope management can get a handle on this issue.

We had our family reunion meet and greet there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was set up when we got there and the place was nice and clean. I highly recommend this place!

We have an AMAZING Worship experience every Sunday @ 10am sharp at the South Holland Community Center. The church is Kingdom Driven Ministries International. Pastor Myra Dixon is the Senior Leader there and EVERY SUNDAY she serves the Bread 🍞 of Life as if it's fresh out of the oven! This lady hears straight from God and will tell u exactly what God wants u to know!. If you need a great church and an even better Pastor, then come to the South Holland Community Center Sundays at 10am-12. 👍💯💥. We are also very grateful for Ed and his entire staff at South Holland Community Center. Ed demonstrates great leadership and great customer service. The staff there are amazing and always willing to help out when needed.

I loved the pool. It was warm and clean. Plus, the water weights and everything I needed for my workout was provided by the gym.

I just called a few minutes ago (October 11th, 2023 at 2:30 pm) & the lady on the phone had an extremely nasty attitude. All I wanted to know was if the indoor track here at south holland community center was open to the public & she said “HOW OLD ARE YOU” very rude! Please get her out! She doesn’t need to answer phone calls with that type of attitude! Very disgusting!!☹️

Pool is wonderful! The track & work out rooms are cool too. They offer party rooms here which would be good for afternoon parties

Best pool, friendly people at the desk. Nobody steals and the place is clean most of the time. There's only a few problems... the hot tub keeps breaking down is a major one.

Went to the center for a baby shower. It was my stepdaughter's shower. Very clean facility for anyone to have an event.

Membership is expensive but they have alot to offer gym swimming pool. And steam room also basketball court. If you live in the area it is worth it if you really make an effort to go

It was anice outing for the senior luncheon. The food could have been seasoned a little better. Or, have salt and pepper packets available.

My family and I took swim classes this summer and was a great experience. I occasionally walk their track as well. The staff is friendly and the facility is pretty clean

I love this place but I wish they would keep it cleaner. I'm there in the mornings during and after the period that is supposed to be the locker room cleaning time. I've gone in after the locker has just been cleaned and, let me tell you, they leave a lot to be desired. People are just so nasty and inconsiderate. The female member's sauna has used band-aids on the floor, people leave their bottles and bottlecaps on the benches, I've seen garbage placed in the cracks between the benches, women leave clumps of hair in the showers. I'm a member but I've started using the guest locker room because there are fewer guests and less nastiness. It's really sad that people are so disrespectful and uncouth. This is such a wonderful and affordable resource for our community, but people just don't care.

I’m glad I finally became a member. I should have joined a long time ago. The gym is awesome. They recently added new equipment and upgraded the pool and whirl pool! The place is always clean. The staff is very professional and friendly. They have many different classes to offer the entire family, including seniors. I highly recommend this place!

Nice facility, it was alot of events happening at once, but the custodial staff were accommodating. Front desk seemed a little bothered but overall a good experience.

Ladies at the desk were rude, one was eating and she kept answering for the lady that I was talking to. There use to be real nice young ladies at the desk, everything has changed so much, and the area has been remodeled and looks very nice.

I was greeted with such courteous professionalism which set the tone for a top notch facility. I was pleased with every aspect of my visit.

I was there for a 90th birthday celebration for a very special lady(My husband's aunt). She was very surprised and she looked beautiful. The place was very nice, the bathrooms were clean. My husband and I were going to have our wedding reception there. Maybe I can use it for something else special.

Very small. Membership for residents is not worth the money because you still have to pay extra for classes offered. Not much of a discount.

My kids learned how to swim here now my grandbabies are taking lessons. Super staff so friendly

Had my daughter's Sweet 16 here. More recently a party for a friend's 40th. Clean facility. Nice size gym. Haven't used the pool. There's an attendant on site, and if you call they are more than willing to assist you.

Great to be back in the gym. They had the machines at social distance. Plenty of wipe down spray and towels. Super clean. Felt so good. I still wore my mask.

Attended a family gathering. Approximately 25 in attendance with masks. Clean, accessible restrooms, security on premises, no incidents even though there were 3 events going on at the same time. Everyone was respectful and curtious. It was my first time at the center. Very nice.
